Guy only spoke Portuguese... end result holes in the radiant flooring. I get back from work at night basement ceiling dripping. So the contractor from ll called Voda. My experience with voda. In the beginning upon meeting. Seemed very professional. That was about it. They installed a containment zone. Which came down in about a hour. What a waste. Next they rented a dehumidifier and three floor fans from Home Depot. That was it. Upon leaving they said they be back everyday to check. You going to help blow on the wall? After he revisited my house. He gave me attitude that it wasn't hot enough in room. (They used my heater) I told him I'm not running my heater at night unattended. They were respectful of my property and were careful of my pets. The demolition team was equally professional. They were careful to mask off the area if they were creating dust, etc. My problem is with the reconstruction. I had decided to go with ServPro because they had done such a good job. The Estimator came out, and did his thing, and then I heard nothing back for two weeks. I checked with the insurance and they hadn't heard any.thing either. I called the Estimator and he said he would follow up. A week later the insurance adjuster finally got his quote. Once it was approved by the insurance company, I called ServPro again and setup a time to walk through with the contractor. No one showed. I called ServPro and left a message. No reply. I called the national number and they connected me to the local office who said that they would have someone contact me ASAP. A week later I called the Estimator again, leaving a frustrated voicemail, when someone else picked up and said they were the new Estimator and the old one no longer worked there. We had a flood in our condo and Servpro was who the insurance hired to do the restoration. The whole process was a complete disaster. They actually got most of the restoration done and then one of the employees put the broken pipe back on instead of the new one and flooded the condo again. They don't bring in licensed plumbers/carpenters, they just hire someone they believe can get it done that is the cheapest option. That has caused us many leaks and problems with doors/cabinets. Use anyone else besides this company!
