We performed…read morea multi-million dollar remodel on our home spending a significant amount of money with Westside. After almost 2 years of trying to get faulty hardware replaced with employees of Westside, our builder finally was able to get Alan Fishman (Owner) to visit our home to inspect our issues. He readily agreed that 4 of our door handles were faulty and attempted to place blame on the fifth to the steel door install, (door has not been operable for 1.5 years) claimed handle broke due to a stiff steel door (I do not agree), however, he still agreed to replace all 5 and would be in-touch when they were available as supply chains are still strained.. After a few months our builder reached out regarding status and he replied with some texts that contained lies, unprofessionalism, arrogance, and were downright rude. Mr. Fishman claimed he "texted" me and I didn't respond - so he sent them back? _____________________________________________ Actual text: Hey Ryan (builder) I reached out twice with no response So all was sent back I can reorder but Instead of no charge favors Westside has cost And I'll see what that was Approx 5-600.00 Let me know when or if I should reorder Alan _____________________________________________ Our records show 0 texts. Replacing faulty merchandise after 1.5 years+ of attempts is not a "favor". QUESTIONS? So he orders replacement parts... claims he sends 2 texts... then sends them back? He could have called us? He could have called/texted the builder? He could have left a voicemail? He just sent them back!? He wants to now charge full price? Mr. Fishman knows he didn't text, call, or attempt to notify - he knows this because I believe he never ordered or intended to make anything right. After reviewing some other online reviews (see Yelp) on Westside and Mr. Fishman - this is just who he is. BUYER BEWARE... if all goes well you're probably ok? If you need a company to stand by their overpriced merchandise... you're on your own. Mr. Fishman will pretend to address an issue, make the problem your fault, then chastise you to save a buck. I'll end this review with a simple line from Mr. Fishman's text to me and our builder: "I expected way more from a great business man like you.." So did we Alan Fishman... so did we.

He has absolutely no customer service skills whatsoever! We spent thousands of dollars here but honestly, it shouldn't matter how much we spent. Good customer service should be given to everyone. It all began going downhill when he ordered the wrong color for us, then told us we would be charged a restocking fee. It was never clear how much that fee was going to be. We were told 10%, 15%, and 25-30%. It ended up being 20%. Whatever the fee, why should we have to pay it if he ordered the wrong color? Then when we re-ordered the parts it took literally months to get them. I understand supply chain issues but he never even called us with updates. We had to contact him to try and get an update. He wouldn't return phone calls and would respond to emails a week late. When items were delivered to the warehouse, I had to go pick them up even though he said they would deliver. Then one of the items was defective and once again it took 1.5 months to 2 months to get the replacement. Again no updates at all. One day my contractor called him and asked if the part came in and he said 'oh yeah, it's here". Then we had to go pick it up. This is just a brief summary of some of the crap that happened with this guy. And to make matters worse, any communication I had with him was always rude, and condescending. I really don't know how this guy does any business. Stay clear of this place, you may have to deal with him if you go there.

    We came in several times and purchased various samples on our own. We took them home and tried to…read morematch up with other components in our remodel, but we weren't satisfied. We went to other stores and just couldn't get everything to pull together for the right "look". We saw the designers working with other customers and thought "we can do this, we don't need help". But, after several weeks without a cohesive plan, we booked an appointment with BJ Smith. That changed everything! We brought in our cabinet doors, our floor tile, paint samples and tile samples we picked up along or journey and laid it out for her. It was a mess... She looked over everything and said "ok, we can do this. It's going to be beautiful!" She told us why certain pieces weren't working together, told us to repaint and helped us find the right color. She taught us what we needed to look for when we went shopping for countertops and even let us being a sample back so she could give her final thumbs up. She helped us match everything with the perfect tile and brought the whole look together. We couldn't be happier or more impressed. BJ is the hidden gem in this store! Don't pass up the chance to gain from her years of experience and eye for color. She also asked questions about "us" to make sure the design would fit our personality and lifestyle. You would pay alot for this service from a outside designer, but Floors and decor offers this service free!!! The tile is wonderful, great pricing and amazing staff... Who could ask for more?

So, in the event you have a catastrophic even, likely you will have to change because you will not be able to duplicate your choice. i had that issue, wayer damage, and to keep from starting all over, I wanted to only replace what was damaged to keep what i have and love. Chewy, Annabelle and Chris at the Mansfield Tx store were amazing, very helpful and tried to do what was within their job descriptions to help but, F&D policies, process and procedure are not consumer friendly, not consistent with what is stated, promoted on their website consistentl. To make a king story short, they found the "discontinued" flooring in three (3) different states, $450.00 for the flooring, and shipped BECAUSE THEY DON'T SHIP... charged $450 per store for over $1,200.00 for Shipping. Highway robbery and raping their customer. I ONLY did so to save time. However, I still need flooring for four (4) other rooms and F&D manager would rather loose money, approximately $2,000 or more in sales, than expense the freight. Hell, they didn't bother to send the product back to main warehouse to ship to a store. Want that money... bottom line, they lost money. The store manager wasnof no help, so he can keep working hard and if I were you, be careful and spend your money wisely... else where.

Willy from Elite came over next day and cleaned the coils but the drain tubes were clogged and had to be replaced. The price was very reasonable. Brian, the salesperson, was aware of our time constraints and assured us that there would be no problem. However, once he received our payment, communication stopped completely. No one seems to know when our appliances will be shipped, let alone when they will arrive. We have been trying to get in touch with the manager (Corey Trent) for over a week, but to no avail. He seems to never be found. How difficult is it to find a manager in a 15,000 sqft showroom?? How do you have the inability to obtain a tracking number for products YOU sell in order to find out when they will be delivered? All we have gotten is the runaround. We now have people on standby, whom we have to continue to pay, because Brian and management can't seem to get it together. This is a total lack of professionalism! We urge you to take your money elsewhere-total lack of work ethic!!
