Customer service at this BB&B deserves more than 5 stars!!!! I'm not sure what everyone there was drinking on a rainy Friday morning when I visited but they were so so nice!! I ordered a 7 piece comforter set online on a Monday and I had to pick it up within 2 days or else they would cancel my order. I called them and asked to extend my order date to Friday and they said that was completely fine and it wouldn't affect the cost. They were considerate because they pulled the item off the floor and kept it on the storeroom for me until Friday morning. They greeted me and kept showing me with compliments and great conversation. You can tell they actually like working at the store and they were happy which is a surprise to me. Advice: keep those BB&B coupons that you get in the mail and wait until you get sales online to get larger discounts. I bought a $179 7-piece comforter under the President's day sale (40-50% off I believe) then with my 20% off single item coupon I ended up paying $89 plus tax for a really nice queen size ivory/beige comforter, 2 euro shams, 2 standard shams, 1 bed skirt, and 1 throw. Ordered a bedroom set online for delivery to my son in Washington state as a gift for his new home. The wrong order arrived. A huge pallet 600lbs with a king size bed intended for New York. When my son sent me a photo and I realized it was the wrong one within 30 minutes we called immediately and asked them to come back and get it. That was May 9th. They said they would call him back. No call came. It's now May 19th and each time I call they say I need to be escalated to another department. They have asked for the same pictures 2x to prove what we received. Meanwhile my son's living room is overwhelmed with 5 huge boxes that they have no way to move and no where to move them to. Yesterday they sent me an email asking for details about the delivery ( again) and indicated that they would be closing my request of I didn't respond that day! I've given them pictures, the order number and a copy of the bill of lading for the mis delivered items. From this document they should be able to gather all the details needed. In addition I asked for a refund and have been told the system won't let them do that so once again... escalated to some phantom department. I have received 0 calls. I have had to initiate all contact. At this point Im looking into charge back for storage. So extremely dissatisfied and disappointed. read more

Tiny bathrooms here. The stall's are are even tinier. As I poop my knees are nearly touching the door. I am a taller man but still. They do offer a disposable toilet seat cover and ample toilet paper. The restroom is very clean as well. It's just very outdated. There is no music, except for the sounds coming out of my ass. I called to check on my pickup order at The Cedar Hill location in Texas and asked to speak to the manager. When I asked the mgr Crystal the associate name I just spoke to she indicated she didn't know her name. I then asked her if she could asked the associate her name. All I wanted to know was when would my order be ready for pick up that was placed at 8am... It was 2pm when I called. I then asked for store number 2068 which she had to look up. I then attempted to call corporate and I'm still holding as I type this yelp. I guess that Crystal laughed when I said I was going to call corporate. Similar to some other reviews, I have a love/hate relationship with Bed Bath & Beyond. I love going here as I can usually find what I want when I need it. I hate it because I always find things I didn't realize I needed. Customer service at this location has always been top notch for my visits. I remember one visit there was an item I wanted that was on display. No fewer than 3 people researched it because they're inventory indicated it was in stock. In the end they got a ladder and took down the display and sold it to me at a reduced price. While I could complain about their inventory tracking I tend to focus on the fact that I left with the item I went for and got it at a reduced price. What is there to complain about? Also, unlike some stores, I like the fact that it's easy to locate an associate when needed. And they are very knowledgeable on the products the store carries. This store is very well organized which makes it easy to get around and locate things. And for as busy as it gets on weekends, things always seem to be in the proper place. A few of the other 'big' stores could learn from BB&B. Lastly, I like the fact that BB&B accepts coupons well beyond the expiration date. Yes, that's correct, based on my experience those coupons do not expire. So don't throw away those BB&B coupons away. They have a life of their own. read more

Let me explain...they have makeup, nail polish, lotions, deodorants, shampoos, personal items, hair dryers, hair dyes, travel sized toiletries, toothbrushes and pastes, etc. And I'm not talking a small selection either. They have some hair products that I have only seen at beauty supplies and they even have some products that I haven't seen in years (Finesse anyone?). This store has pretty much everything except food. Actually, they do have a nice selection of movie theater sized candies, but nothing you could really cook. I have a love/hate relationship with this place. I come in needing one thing and I come out with ten more things. Overall, they're over priced if you actually look things up value wise. BUT if you use one of their coupons it balances out to average or a few $ below. They constantly send coupons in the mail. Ignore the expiration date because despite when it expires they still except and will take it for the lowest percentage. So your 20% off coupon may have expired but its still worth 10%! This was probably my third visit to this location over the years, although it seems like it got an exterior refresh at some point, because it looked nicer on the outside than I remember. But the action is on the inside, and that's where this BB&B hit it out of the park. I dropped in to pick up a housewarming gift that I had ordered online and had set this store as the pickup location. Upon paying for it at the service desk, I was advised that there was a gift wrapping counter nearby, and I was shown to it. There, a wonderful lady named Ms. Vivian proceeded to practically do the whole job for me (perhaps having pity on a haggard looking guy with a telltale cotton ball and tape that indicated a doctor visit), and the result was beautiful! She placed it in a box with tissue paper, then wrapped it with purple ribbon, using scissors to decorate the ends of the ribbon to make it look very fancy. This was excellent service, from the time I walked in until the time I walked out. All retail stores should strive to please their customers as well as BB&B did for me. I love BBB, but Kip, one of the managers, has completely tainted my feelings about this particular location. I was looking at down comforters for about 5 minutes and he kept pacing back and forth past me in the bedding section fixing the display beds. At some point he said to his co-worker "I've got to fix all this, people are messy." So, instead of offering assistance to a potential customer Kip was meticulously folding the beds and fluffing the pillows. I understand a clean and organized store is important, but so is customer service, and he lacks this understanding. However, I have encountered many other employees there who have been very friendly and helpful. It's disappointing that this manager can't follow their lead. read more

I've come here twice for special orders and both times I have received amazing service from the sales staff. I lied, it's not amazing, it's spectacular. The first time I ordered a Nespresso online. I want able to apply my 20% off coupon (god bless those discounts) so I went in store to order. Apparently since the item was discounted I couldn't use a coupon. Without even asking or putting up an argument, the sales associate applied the coupon for me. She said it was not clear that I couldn't use the coupon and didn't want me to be inconvenienced. How amazing! The second time was today. I ordered a humidifier online for in-store pickup. I got another coupon online but I wouldn't apply to the purchase and said I had to use it in person. Of cat-snatching course the coupon deletes when I go to pick my order (darn digital coupons). No worries, this sales associate applied the 20% off anyway, and then gave me another 20% off for the other item I purchased. Way to go above and beyond!!!! I think I made an accidental pun. I have been to numerous other BBB locations in the area, from Denton to Ft. Worth, though I live in Dallas and love this chain as a whole. At almost every one I have occasionally had my dog with me and encountered no issues. Today, at this location *only* I was stopped shortly upon entering the store and asked if my dog was a Service Dog. I was honest and responded no, to which I was told that either I had to put him (50lb) dog in a shopping cart or leave. Truthfully (and legally) they are not supposed to even ask that question. Now understand, I have NO -- repeat "NO" -- issues with an establishment being pet-friendly or not pet-friendly, that is their call. I am simply happy for those who are. But in the situation of a "chain" retail store, the policy should be consistent/uniform throughout the chain or it can lead to embarrassing and highly inconvenient scenarios as played out today. In fact, World Market "used" to allow pets in the store, now (chain-wide) they do not, whether in shopping carts or not. Again, no issues, as the policy is uniform/consistent and it is entirely their call. There was no scene caused, but I did nicely, politely and quietly ask the manager for a card for corporate so I could find out "what" the official policy was, one way or the other. She retrieved a card for me, and I left. But I do want to put other potential pet owners on-alert regarding this particular store and its seemingly solo policy, especially with hot summer months on the way when you would NOT want to leave your pet in the car while shopping thinking (as I did) that their pet policy was consistent from store-to-store. Store personnel could have handled the situation with a bit more tact and discretion, but still there was no need to call undue attention (on my part) to what transpired in the store. We're all adults. And I will be following up with their corporate office to find out "what" exactly the official policy is for their stores. read more

I do love a Bed Bath & Beyond. I've been collecting those 20% coupons forever. Did you know they don't expire? Did you know they only have expiration dates bvecause the Post Office dictates that all coupons not in envelopes need them? Yah - that's right - they don't expire. AND you can go into the store with a fistfull of them and they will take them all at the register. Don't be shy. I did it and saved like $50. I was in the area and needed a bunch of stuff. This BB&B is in "reverse order" from the other ones I've been in, meaning you generally enter a BB&B and walk around it counter-clockwise, starting with kitchen stuff, but in this store, that section is on your LEFT, so you walk through here clockwise. I'm weird like that. Anyhow it's a great store and I found a ton of stuff I needed. Or thought I needed. LOVE this place. Sign up for their emails to receive coupons! Also, they own Buy Buy Baby and will honor that store's coupons as well. Of course I signed up for those emails too even though there's no baby any where around me. The cashiers are used to people coming in with a stack and will help you get the best discount applied to what you are buying. I also purchased my Keurig coffee maker here (they sell the k-cups here too) right after Christmas. They were sold out of the one I wanted and one of the salesguys ordered it for me from the website, let me use my coupon, and waived the shipping! AWESOME. I know it's a chain and normally I'm a bit of a non-conformist and a "chain-hater", but I love this store. You can use a max of 5 of their coupons (that have expiration dates, but never really expire) or the coupons of their competitors. They do limit a few of the items/brands, but for the reasonable prices, it's worth it...and you can use the coupons on sale-items too. Most places limit that, but not BB&B. I've always had good experiences with the staff from just a regular shopping trip, to returns, to our wedding registry. It's the first place I look for most items and if they don't have it, I'll go elsewhere, but if they have it, it's usually a top-quality product at a very reasonable price and you can't beat that! read more

I had a great experience here today. I got to the store right at opening time and everyone was incredibly helpful from the moment the doors opened. Specifically, the product I went to purchase was actually cheaper at a competitor. I mentioned this to a manager (a very nice man - unfortunately didn't catch his name) and he asked me to go to the front customer service area to be price matched. From this point, I worked closely with Ashton who was so helpful. She even helped me realize that by using a BB&B coupon, my product would be cheaper than if I price matched. My customer service experience last month at this store was really Amazing! I was gazing at the selection of humidifiers still torn over two different models when not one but TWO associates came by & asked me how I was doing. They were VERY well informed on the pros & cons of each brand & were very patient while I went back & forth reading every detail of each model. I HAD to have one that worked & worked well. I always enjoy going to BBB because I know they have the largest selection to compare anything I want. A friend and I went into the store recently to purchase a duvet and other small items. The duvet ended up being on sale and a great price for a king bed. When we got to the cashier, we were greeted by a sweet lady named Carol. She was extremely patient with us as we pulled out all our coupons (because I love a good savings). She never made us feel rushed and even joked with us while others were waiting to be taken care of behind us. Aside from being SO HUGE that its nearly impossible to navigate on your own, I do like coming here for wedding registry purchase. I wish it was easier to find things on your own or if they would have more available staff willing to help. Either way, the ease of getting a printed registry when you arrive and the adorable complimentary purple gift wrapping make up for the slight inconveniences. It is unfortunate that their pricing isn't comparable to other stores. Basic brands like OXO that you can buy at other stores, like Target, are generally 10%+ higher here. For this reason I don't buy certain items here, but they have so much in the way of specialty gadgets and unique items that it is still worth a visit. read more

CAROL IS A TRUE GIFT OF A HUMAN BEING. I wish all employees were like her- excellent customer service, above and beyond service, great attitude... I had a better day because of my interaction with Carol. She made me laugh, she took care of all my concerns, she even recommended restaurants in the area that ended up being delicious.
