After experiencing it - I know I will be doing it again. The float is weird at first, but after you get settled the stress and tension just seem to float away. My neck had a pain in it for awhile, and it is relieved after the float. I didn't expect that. I thought it was just going to be an interesting experience, I had no idea the tension relieving benefits that I would receive. I can't wait to do it again! I had the appointment in the morning, and am writing this review late in the evening - and I have been relaxed and tension free all day. Stress has eased. The benefits are amazing. The pool is large and there is a shower in the room. I would advise taking a bag with all the products you need to shower and get ready. I took a large bag. I wish I would have taken a bag that had different compartments because all my stuff got jumbled between what I needed for shower and getting ready. You will shower and dress in the float room - but them move to another room to finish your blow drying - so it will be easier to keep your items separate for easier and faster access. Take a good shampoo with you - my hair felt very salty (no surprise) when I was finished. So I wanted to give a good wash and condition after. If you have a scrape - use the ointment provided to cover it. The bath does sting if you have a cut. I had one on my knee that I didn't even know I had until I got in the bath.

During this time I have undergone multiple painful unnecessary procedures to pacify the insurance gods. After I had jumped through those hurdles they finally did two ablations. These helped me for about a month or a month and a half. The PA, which is all you will ever see out there after the initial visit, decided at this time that he would finally order imaging. One day my phone rang and it was him. He told me my MRI showed I had neoplasm of the spine. This is a very very devastating news and anyone with one class in anything healthcare related would know better than to deliver such news over the phone. I was home alone at the time and had no one but my dogs to comfort me. In addition to that when I had seen this PA he would bust into the exam room without ever knocking to let me know he was entering. Then he would immediately proceed to burying his face in the computer and not listening or even interested in one word I would have to say. I'm sick of these pain clinics treating patients like they are convicts. I have never asked them for so much as a baby aspirin. I worked in healthcare for four decades which is the reason my back is in the shape it is in. I know the proper way to treat and listen to a patient. As far as the doctor is concerned with the MRI done, they insisted I come in two days after I have a procedure to get the results because he just will not discuss such things on his injection days. Talk about total disrespect for a patient and their time. I subsequently called and told them to discharge me from their clinic. I have no interest in dealing with such unprofessional people that are essentially an assembly line of pain management. Good luck to all who go here. Hope your outcome is better. I am no better than I have been for the past several years.
