After having my A/C leak through my ceiling I called another company and they discovered the float switch was not connected. If this was connected my ac would have shut down until the clog in the drain line was cleared. Also the tech called me up into the attic to show me how filthy the inside of the unit was. As I suspected the My AC hook up tech didn't remove the panel or apparently touch the attic unit. Edit to respond to the owner. I have attached my payments to your company for a full AC tune up and some duct work. So now you can see that I am in fact an unhappy former customer. Also any reputable HVAC company includes a detailed cleaning in a tune up. So buyer beware, unless you're willing to babysit these clowns and make sure they're doing what you're paying them too they will do shoddy work or half the job.

Everything from the kitchen was suppose to be individually cleaned and placed into a box due to the toxicity of the fire smut. However everything was just tossed (literally) into boxes. Broken glassware among other things. Some items were just placed in random spots in the garage. I've been finding them for 4 months now. Nothing was cleaned well, most items still had the powder from the fire extinguisher. Staples were left in the wall, crown molding was damaged, paint was damaged from the tape used, and the adhesive was left on wall & floors. After everything was said and done, the toxicity test still showed an elevated level. All that being said, when I contacted a claim adjuster they said they heard of fides, and he does great work, just not for fires. Which was my experience.

They strung us along for about 3 weeks. They passed on an over $40,000 job. Suffice to say, we went with another company which was simply terrific. The fan of the unit was literally hanging off. Tried to work with magment to resolve the issue and although Judah was professional, he didn't want to hear that it was thier problem at all. Am i an HVAC professional - nope, but i do know even when i have my home vendor come for my twice a year check ups, they tell me everything i should replace / fix or what is coming to end of life. Never did we have this from Dana's. Also wording on former invoice were altered to avoid fault. So sad to be treated llike this, especially a non-profit - but really anyone. It is safe to say that they treated you well and you receive something like five star service that said you pay a 7 star price. My issue was resolved in 12-15 minutes for $350 that included $20 in parts. By analogy that translates into a $1400 hourly rate. Hey, at least the took 15 minutes beforehand to inspect all my other plumbing and try to sell me a membership perhaps I should say my hourly rate was $700. My lawyer who is a top litigation attorney charges way less per hour! They are the private jet price plumbers!
