I then had to check in and provide all of my information again. The receptionist said they require a questionnaire and a "good faith exam" beforehand and had me scan a QR code. The questionnaire asked me to either schedule or join a visit, and she told me to select "join visit." None of this was explained clearly beforehand. While I was doing this, the environment was extremely loud because there was apparently a networking event happening in the back. It honestly felt more like a social event than a wellness appointment. It was so noisy and chaotic that I almost walked out because it was not relaxing at all. I was eventually taken to the back by someone who never introduced herself or explained her credentials. She told me to sit on a lounger that was literally in the middle of a group of people standing around networking. Then my phone beeped and I realized I had somehow been placed into a telehealth appointment with a provider. No one had explained that the "good faith exam" meant a telehealth call. The provider was asking me personal health questions while I was surrounded by a crowd of people. I could barely hear her over the noise, and it felt extremely uncomfortable discussing medical information in that setting. It honestly felt like a HIPAA violation. After that call ended the same provider from earlier came out with the shot. Again, there was no introduction, no explanation of what was being injected, and no discussion of what I was receiving. I had to lift up my shirt in front of about 20 people so she could access my arm, which was very embarrassing. The injection was done quickly and a bandage was put on without any explanation. When I went to check out, I asked about the 50% first-time discount that was advertised on Facebook. The receptionist told me that promotion didn't apply to their location. I showed her a screenshot that clearly said Troy, and she questioned when it was posted. At that point I was so frustrated I didn't feel like digging through my phone to prove it. I was expecting to pay $50 but was charged $75. When I asked why, she said the "good faith exam" costs $25. I was never told there would be an additional charge for that. Instead of acknowledging the lack of transparency or the overall experience, I was simply told "sorry, it's a one-time fee." Between the scheduling issue, the loud networking event, the lack of introductions or explanations, the privacy concerns during the telehealth visit, being injected without being told what I was receiving, and the unexpected fee, this was an extremely disappointing experience. I have never been to a spa that did not make any adjustments ever. This is why customers are always given a two week return appointment. You chose to do filler and botox on my lower face. I never asked for it. Then you just let me walk out of your establishment unhappy, this is so very wrong. I gave you almost $2,500, and you just basically let me leave unhappy. I told you the other day I wanted to cry because my friend asked me what was wrong with my face. I can't believe this has happened, with tears rolling down my face I would like to make a complaint about my experience there to the owner, please. I chose this spa, it was near my home and they had a same day availability for me as I was attending a party later that evening and I sincerely wanted some filler and botex. When I arrived I stated I wanted filler in my cheeks and botox in my forehead, 11 lines, and crow's feet. I wanted filler in my cheeks. It was suggested that I should get both in my chin, and the lower sides of my face, I shared I had never had any injections on the lower of my face. I did want botox under my chin for my turkey neck but was told it would not help. I also wanted some injections in my lips but was told they would be bruised and possibly be noticeable at the party I was to attend, so it was suggested to get a lip flip. I never heard of it but I was good with that. In the end my bill was close to $2,500. I had no intention of spending this kind of money, but if it was going to make me look beautiful it would be worth it. I wasn't 100% pleased, but I was hoping that in a few days I would receive more satisfaction in my face. I was told to return in a couple of weeks for the final consultation to see if any adjustments were needed, she did not tell me this but I have been getting injections for over10 years and this is the procedure for every spa I've gone to. A few days ago, I called to complain about wrinkles on both sides of my mouth. I was told to send pictures, and was told it was because of the lip flip to give it more days. A couple of days later I received a call to come in. I went to the appointment this evening, and for over 30 minutes I was told over and over and shown a chart over and over of how little filler I actually received and that I needed more but she was trying to save me money. She acknowledged the wrinkles but said nothing can be done and the botox had to run its course,, in about 4 - 6 weeks. I said I had rather purchased more filler than had the suggested filler and botox placed in my chin. She explained that she did not want to give me more filler in my cheeks because I would have too much swelling, and needed to wait until later. I again said I didn't ask for the lower injections, that I was not the expert, I was just going with what was suggested to me. I knew by now that I was not going to get any adjustments unless I paid more, why should I do this when I was not happy with the outcome of the money I had already spent. She finally said I could put some more botox in the jawline but your neck is going to seem like its pulling. I said we have to do something, she then said it was no guarantee that it would help. No matter what she was not going to make any free adjustments, especially when it came to the filler. I just wanted her to really care. She promised me on the phone that she would not leave me hanging, that she wanted me to be happy, but in the end she didn't care. I am extremely upset. This is bad business. I can't get this terrible treatment out of my mind.
