I believe Alive and Well has strong potential to deliver an exceptional experience; however, I…read morecontinue to feel disappointed by the level of service provided, particularly given the amount I invest as a client. To date, I have spent several thousand dollars across their services - I am currently enrolled in the Elite Family membership ($400/month), have purchased the functional medicine package ($500), and have also transitioned my medspa services (e.g., botox, etc.) to their practice. While the membership offerings themselves are appealing, the overall experience has been inconsistent. For example, the locker room amenities frequently fall short of expectations. In the evenings, the water is often empty, which may seem small but is not in line with the standard one would expect from a "luxury" facility - especially one that includes a sauna. Additionally, my boyfriend has experienced similar issues in the men's locker room, including a lack of available towels. These recurring issues detract from the overall experience. My functional medicine appointment was a positive experience. Rebecca provided a thoughtful and comprehensive review of my bloodwork along with actionable recommendations. However, the follow-up experience has been frustrating. When I reach out through the patient portal with questions, the responses tend to focus on promoting additional memberships rather than addressing my specific concerns. For example, when I recently inquired about peptides, I was directed toward a peptide membership rather than receiving straightforward guidance. I prefer a model where I can pay for services as needed, without the pressure to enroll in ongoing memberships. Overall, it feels as though the business model is heavily centered around enrolling clients in multiple memberships, which makes it difficult to access continued care without additional commitments. This approach has impacted my experience and may ultimately influence whether I continue seeking services with Alive and Well. Medspa services with Kelly are great. She listens and gives great guidance! If you are strictly going for the spa (sauna, cold plunge, massages, facials), it is a beautiful and relaxing environment. However, if you plan to add the functional medicine package, the experience may shift from relaxing to frustrating due to persistent upselling and pressure to enroll in additional memberships.

I followed Sarah from another Dallas med spa to this new med spa in town because she is so…read moreincredibly good at what she does. I go to her for all kinds of facials and beauty treatments. Sarah has over 7 years of experience and is not only good at what she does but you can tell that she loves her work and takes time to perfect her craft. It is also extremely rare to find a quality beautician who does not oversell procedures and treatments. Sarah gives great recommendations that enhances your natural beauty and that is what I love about her work. This new facility has everything you can dream of: cold plunges, IV drips, massages, body treatments, oxygen tanks and much more. They even have a meditation room for sound baths! Their sauna was still under construction when I stopped by to see Sarah last week but I'm excited to try all their amenities in the near future. I can't speak for their membership program as I exclusively see Sarah for treatments but that's also an option for people who see themselves going to med spas frequently. They also have their own in house pharmacy full of supplements and other holistic/natural heath goodies.

This is where my cryotherapy journey began back 6+ years ago. Since then, this studio has undergone…read morea lot a change...all for the better. In late 2019, it was offline thanks to a tornado that did major damage in the area. Within a year of being back at this location, the pandemic arrived which slowed things down. Thankfully, Cryo1one safely remained open throughout the early days of the pandemic and continues to thrive today. Recently, this location went through a major remodel to optimize the use of the space to accommodate the expanded service portfolio. Over the past ~24 months, the service portfolio expanded from to 2 to 8. Similar to the original 2 services (cryotherapy and IV Drips/Vitamin shots), all contribute to a healthy lifestyle and wellness journey. While I continue to do cryotherapy and mostly vitamin B12 shots, I have added most of the newer services to my routine, some on an as need basis. The new services include: Rapid Reboot Compression Boots: This has quickly become a favorite of mine and is now part of my regular routine. These boots really help with my recovery when it comes to leg soreness. The boots provide a 360° leg massage that is targeted and intentional in flushing out lactic acid. Recently, they added 'compression shorts' which focus more on the glutes and lower back...this is a game changer! Dry Salt Therapy: I find this to be very beneficial, especially in the December to February timeframe which is when my allergies tend to flare up (thanks to the mountain cedar pollen that is at its highest during those months). For those wondering, the treatment consists of micro-sized salt particles that naturally create an antibacterial environment, drawing out the excess moisture, mucus and impurities that are in the airways and on the skin. Also, an option when using this is to add the infrared lights creating an Infrared Sauna which just adds to experience and benefits. If you are an allergy suffer, I highly recommend trying this. BioCharger: The BioCharger NG facilitates an amplified and optimized transfer of electrons in and around your body without needing to leave the house, generating an effect familiar to individuals who practice 'Earthing' or 'Grounding', but in a more concentrated way. Bioharmonic Vibe Bed: Talk about relaxation...this is it!! As it says in the name, this is vibrating bed of sorts and that combined with the headphones which play spa-like music makes this a real treat. BallancerPro: For me, this is similar to the Compression Boots except it's on steroids. While the compression boots focus on the legs, this comes up to just above the abdominal area and focuses on the lymphatic system through a gentle massaging motion (think lymphatic massage). In addition to being very relaxing, I find this to be detox of sorts. The team here continues to be super cool (no pun intended); they are always very welcoming and super knowledgeable. Most importantly, they are easy to talk with which is important while in the cryo chamber as the conversation allows one to forget (sort of) how cold they are feeling. While walk-ins are welcome, scheduling is done via the Cryo1one app. Overall, I continue to be very pleased with Cryo1one and I am glad this is part of my health/wellness journey.

I've done cryo at a lot of locations, and I'll definitely comeback because of the staff, environment, and attention to detail/willingness to work on a specific issue in addition to the top notch equipment.
