If you are familiar with this part of Norfolk, you probably know that parking in this side of town can sometimes be challenge. There are about 4 parking spaces in front of the building or you can park across from it on the street. Booking was very simple and straight forward. Be prepared to pay for the service in it's entirety when booking. If you are booking as a couple, your guest will need to fill out the intake form in person because the online booking only allowed me to fill out one. Loved decor here. The Seafoam green gives it a nice touch and it matches their website. Super clean in here too. I had to use the restroom before we entered the sauna and I was very pleased with how neat and tidy it was We were directed to our room for the infared sauna. There are plenty of towels and robes for guests. I loved the sauna, it was really nice and relaxing for the both of us. The only thing that I didn't like was the little draft at the bottom of the door. This prevented the temperature from going up, but other than that, I felt amazing after. We will definitely be back.

I received the Standard Plus facial from Kailey back on July 3. It. was. everything. Kailey knows her stuff. Once I had changed and Kailey adjusted my headband I received a brief aromatherapy treatment. I've gotten plenty of facials before but this was the first time any aesthetician has ever done that. She placed the oil on her wrists and had me breathe deeply in and out before starting my service. It was the perfect touch because if you're like me, you're probably rushing to your appointments. My facial was amazing. This was my first service with Kailey but it won't be my last. She examined my skin before she began. I loved the fact that she answered all my questions and even gave my suggestions for different services to look into during the winter months. Extractions are always a love-hate experience for me but all of the congestion from my face was removed and my skin was so soft when I left. During the facial Kailey and I chatted about other treatments that would be great for my skin, how often I should be receiving facials, and my at-home routine. I'd also like to add that Kailey is a product wiz! When we were quarantined she helped me revamp my entire skin routine. I think we all dealt with maskne but I also believe my diet and stress caused my skin to go into panic or something. Kailey and I texted and talked over the phone about my skin and its needs. My whole regimen got a much-needed facelift and my skin is doing so much better. Anytime she recommends something for me (and no she doesn't sell products so no gimmicks there) I get it! Since then I have had minimal (and I mean minimal) breakouts and the texture of my skin has improved drastically. We're currently working on tone and hyperpigmentation and I'm excited to see those results. I'll be returning for another facial with Kailey at Get Well Soon the next time I'm back home. But that's where the good experience ended. I noted I wanted firm pressure on my intake form and confirmed with the masseuse that's what I wanted for my sports massage. I am no stranger to massages. I asked her to focus on my neck, upper traps, and lower back/SI joint. She spent more than half the hour on my arms and legs. The pressure was all over the place. Weird hand motions and more therapeutic feeling. Then she drilled hard onto my IT bands and calves. They were sore for a few days after. I was expecting similar pressure in the areas I asked. But nothing. No pressure or trigger point work AT ALL. By the time I thought to ask for more pressure (because she never asked if the pressure was ok), the massage was over. I was really frustrated because I was really needing some relief on my neck and traps. I paid and tipped but also let the receptionist know I was really let down. She said she would let the manager know. I then left a note via the survey link they sent out with the same feedback. I heard nothing back. So a few days later I called and spoke with the manager. She said they appreciated the feedback and that her or the owner would call me back within a day or two to discuss the best way to rectify the situation. I still haven't heard anything so I don't think I'll be back. Disappointing when you look to a service to provide relief from chronic pain.

Very zen!! I was taken to the waiting area in the back which is dimmly lit, and has complimentary snacks, fruit, tea, and water. Abigail who was my masseuse met me to take me to my room. She was very professional, she spoke in a soft tone, and her energy was everything!! She's a vibe for sure!! The massage room was nice with relaxing music playing and essentially oil smells filled the room. The massage bed had a warmer which I appreciated. My massage was an hour long and it was amazing!! Abigail focused on my problem areas and really did a wonderful job. She asked if there were spots I did want focused on and the amount of pressure I wanted. Afterwards she met me with a cup of water. I discovered Beem through instagram. They reached out to me on Instagram to offer a promotional…read morevisit of $25 for infrared sauna. So I took advantage of the offer. Upon my first visit I jumped into a 6 months contract. On top of the 6 months contract which was for one infrared sauna visit per week, I bought a package for red light therapy. It is extremely clean inside Beem. The atmosphere is very modern, minimalistic and smells so good inside. They also sell the fragrance they spray. They offer infrared sauna with light therapy and red light therapy. There was a shower but I think it broke. Beem also has a water bottle fountain which is convenient for filling up your own water bottle. In each private room includes clean towels and an iPad to watch Netflix, listen to podcast or meditate using Headspace. You are booked in a sauna room for 42 minutes long. There are only 2 red light therapy rooms which does not offer iPads since you're under a lamp and it's only 17 minutes. I had every intention to be consistent with my visits but life happened and I ended up racking up so much credit which I was able to use up between October to December. I canceled immediately after 6 months to prevent my account from going month to month. I knew this was no longer serving me if I couldn't even make it every week. Heather, the manager, helped me process my cancellation fairly quick. All the ladies currently employed there as of December 2023 are really nice and personable. They greet you upon arriving and take you straight back to your room. They do what they can to accommodate your needs. They're open everyday and pretty early up until 7pm on most days. Beem is located in town center so parking is most often within the parking garages nearby. Although, I did like Beem and the staff, their requirement to push services and products really stressed me out. I always felt like I was being sold additional services/packages or products. Even when I'm there and coming out of the rooms, I can hear the staff always on the phone reaching out to people who have inquired or who have visited but didn't commit. I brought two friends upon two different visits and they both ended up receiving nonstop calls. For a place that is supposed to be relaxing and boast health, I got really anxious whenever I was by the front desk. I just wanted to quickly be in and out with as little talking as possible. Beem isn't the only place that's doing this nowadays, other places including The Stretch Lab, Cycle Bar, and HOTWORX are very pushy with follow-ups. I just wish businesses depended on social media and word of mouth. Overall, it's a great place. If you're located nearby and is interested in their services then definitely go for it. However, for me, it a bit pricey and I have found other places locally that offered the same services for cheaper.

She checks on you periodically to make sure you're okay. They also offer group steams for you and your friends, massages, non invasive lipo, detox sauna, & teeth whitening.
