Employees acted like it some big ruse to take their shoes. Offered me a 25% discount to buy a pair of shoes just so I could leave the store. I left the place barefoot. I called the store as soon as I left and told Ellen that the way she handled this was inappropriate. She told me to return to the shop the next day and she would give me a $20 store credit. This is a screenshot of my timestamped email sent at 950am the next day 10 mins before the store opened. I entered the store at 10:03am and my shoes were on the sales rack marked at $30. These people are wild and their own cameras and my time stamped evidence prove it. These con artists really took my shoes, made me leave the store barefoot. Offered me a $20 store credit after I called and complained and then had the AUDACITY to have my shoes on the sale rack for $30 Even when presented with evidence that these were my shoes they tried to argue that they weren't because they were in like new condition. The woman who did all of this was the assistant manager Ellen. Mind you, I asked multiple times to see their cameras and to fill out an incident report before I left the store barefoot which they REFUSED. When I called the police Ellen REFUSED to give me the store address and kept telling me to hang up the phone. Also, as of 6/28, the website to the not for profit they claim proceeds support is invalid.

I had another chair recovered in velvet at Calico Corners in Wilmette and it does not attract dust and lint at all so it is not necessarily a function of all velvets. You were not nearly as helpful as you sound here on yelp when I had these complaints after the sofa was done. You' were completely unresponsive and refused to assist any further. At minimum, the sofa should've been comfortable and you definitely did mislead me on your product.

There are tons of venders who have sections of items. Some can be pricey, but there are definitely deals to be found. In one afternoon, my kid was inspired to redecorate her whole bedroom with antiques and florals. We bought lamps and pictures, and decor for shelves. She was so happy, which made me so happy. I collect vintage Christmas elves from the 50's. I was so excited to find some. I usually find them at estate sales, so finding one in a shop was a bonus. When we rang it all up it came to $250. We walked out with a lot of stuff, so $250 was a great deal. Just remember they don't do returns or exchanges I can't believe I waited so long to show her this place.
