I was in the area and happened to notice Resurrection Coffee as I was pulling into the Dollar Tree parking lot. I decided to stop in, and I'm so glad I did. The moment I walked inside, I felt like I had stepped back into my childhood. The décor is full of nostalgic touches, including a pay phone, old-school wall phones with the extra-long cords, a TV with a built-in VHS player, and classic retro games. It was such a fun atmosphere that immediately brought back memories. For my meal, I ordered the chicken wings with French fries along with a caramel macchiato. Everything was delicious, and the coffee hit the spot. The service was fantastic. The woman who took my order was incredibly sweet and welcoming, which made the experience even better. They didn't have many pastries left, but I believe I arrived close to closing time, so I'm not sure what their regular selection is like earlier in the day. They have plenty of outdoor seating, while the indoor seating is a bit more limited. Overall, I had a great experience and will definitely be back to try more of their menu. Hospitality is back everyone! And it's here at Resurrection Cup Coffee. I don't remember the last time I heard a customer and worker know each other's names like they were besties. The cashier was so lovely, giving me compliments and just being so warm. The server was really sweet too. I got a bacon egg & cheese on an asiago bagel + a pistachio matcha for like $14? And it was goooood ya'll. I believe the bagel was homemade? It was so warm and had the perfect chew to fluff ratio. I also loved the library that they had, they have a donation box in case you wanted to take some books home. And I saw that they were going to have a thrift added there soon. This has to be the quickest review I've made, but it's well deserved. From the moment you walk in, you are greeted with smiles. The staff is so sweet and truly makes you feel welcomed. My boyfriend has recommended this place to me a bunch of times, and since I was in the area, I finally stopped by. I ordered a horchata latte. It was perfection. You could really taste the horchata and the cinnamon. As for food, I decided to go with a breakfast sandwich. They have a board that shows you the types of bread they have, but they also literally show them to you in 3D form. They are all there in front of you. I chose a Cuban bread with egg, ham, and cheese sandwich. The sandwich was big. I didn't expect it to be so big, and I loved it. Just like the ones my mom used to make when I was a kid. The price for everything rounded up to $13, which was amazing. In other places, $13 is just a coffee or a sandwich, not both. They have this very big bookshelf with a bunch of books that you can read there, or if you want to take one home, you can just leave a small donation. Nothing can be finer than my morning coffee and meeting up with Terri, my dear friend and fellow coffee lover. She had been here before giving it rave reviews so I was excited to try it. I had heard some great things about this coffee shop in the Dania area and decided to stop by one day while I was around. It has a cute, retro and welcoming vibe and is a good place to grab a bite or coffee with a friend or just on your own. The staff was also very kind and since they have a pretty good variety of food and drinks to choose from, they're very patient and helpful with providing recommendations on what to try, the most popular items and their personal favorites. I do have to say, I was a bit underwhelmed with my iced latte. It was just okay, and I probably wouldn't go out of my way for it again. I personally prefer homemade syrups and the syrups they offered seemed to be store bought. I'm also particular with my milk substitutes. I did however really enjoy the empanadas. They were very tasty and I would recommend them to others and purchase them again on my next visit. You could immediately tell she knew her regulars their names and their orders and there is something so special about that. It's already endearing when a coffee shop remembers you, but when the owner herself takes the time to recognize and connect with customers, it elevates the experience entirely. It honestly made me want to ask her about how the coffee shop came to be, and that conversation only made me fall in love with this place even more. I went in on a Tuesday morning and was surprised by how busy it was clearly a local favorite. There is plenty of parking, large outdoor seating, and cozy indoor seating that's perfect for reading or getting some work done. The decor is nostalgic, thoughtful, and full of charm. There's even a selection of books to browse and take home by leaving a small donation, which adds such a personal and community driven touch. The menu is extensive, offering everything from tostadas to pastries, all made in house and they are huge. The coffee itself is tasty, and despite how busy it was, the service was quick. Resurrection Cup Coffee is an amazing coffee shop and so much more! Today I had a steak sandwich that was fabulous. It was the perfect item to have mid morning. I would definitely get it again. It came with steak, grilled onions potato sticks, tomato, and mayo served on Cuban bread. No wonder the place was jammed packed on a Saturday! They have a library where you can donate a book or make a donation for one! I was shocked at the selection they had. Another time, I will have to bring some books and browse more. I sat outside on the patio. The weather is perfect. I enjoyed the fall decorations that they had throughout the property. Most of all, I'm grateful that the owner prayed for my daughter a whole back. Came here with a few of my close girlfriends at the start of our girls trip to Orlando -- this spot was our first stop to grab breakfast and caffeine to go! Shared with my gorlfriend half a Cuban sandwich and half a Pastrami sandwich. Both were amazing! I like how you can also choose your own bread so you really don't have to have a Cuban sandwich with Cuban bread, but given it's our first time here, I wanted to try things as is. I had a pumpkin chai latte which I liked. I tried my friend's matcha and it was a bit too sweet, but they were nice enough to add more water to dilute the sweetness. They were very patient with us in the decision process and ordering considering there were just so many good options! I want to come again but to sit down and really take in the experience dining in. We are not from FL and we were looking for a place that wasn't a tourist trap, would have great coffee and food at reasonable prices and Resurrection Cup was the answer. First stop on our trip in South Florida, and it was amazing! We got here right when they opened and I was so excited to give this place a try. The inside felt cozy with a fun vibe. The menus were plastered high above eye level but the large wording was enough for even the blindest patrons to browse and order. I recently ate lunch so was in the mood for my afternoon coffee. The barista was friendly and poured me a single espresso which tasted great, but unsure the origin of the fresh beans, which smelled fabulous. Really aren't very many vegan or vegetarian options to start with so Avocado Toast it is...but is it really avocado toast??? No not in my opinion - Avocado toast is a avocado centralized dish...a chunky spread of natural avos or diced up avos would be appropriate...This is neither...it is store bought spreadable guacamole...please don't say this is Avocado Toast because it's not...and thinly spread might I add...Not that it would make a difference since it's not really avocado anyways it is guacamole...and not even good guacamole at that! I decided to try a breakfast wrap and a vanilla Matcha iced with oat milk. The ice vanilla Matcha was good and came in a nice size. Had a quick brunch here on a Friday afternoon! They do close a bit early for people coming for lunch on the later side (close at 1:23) but we squeezed in! Most of the pastries were gone but we got a beef empanada and a Nutella donut. The empanada was very nice and flaky with tomato-based beef filling. I would skip the donut- it tasted stale, and I didn't love the balance of the white frosting with Nutella inside. The dirty chai lattes were veryyy sweet, too sweet for us. My husband got an extra shot as they notified us that the standard is one shot of espresso per drink. The price we felt was very good and fair - only $25ish for the two of us to get a bfast item and latte. He got a breakfast sandwich on sourdough with bacon eggs and cheese, nicely toasted. So, I have only been here once, but I am a fan. If you took a Cuban bodega and upscale it, you would have Resurrection Cup Coffee. Imagine Starbucks, but better and Cuban. The coffee was good and the food was better. You order at the counter and they bring it to you when it is ready. I was at the Fort Lauderdale Airport at the crack of dawn when I decided to check out Resurrection Cup Coffee. The only places open that early are coffee shops. Ha. This spot has been on my list and I just wanted coffee and some chill time to read. I had this place bookmarked but what sold me was the little library they had. Coffee + books = bonus!!! Resurrection Cup Coffee is located close to the Fort Lauderdale Airport, about 7 minutes to be exact. You can just tell because of how much she cares about the guests. I loved Alice's calm and cool demeanor. She was incredibly kind and helpful. They're very quick and efficient here because shortly after I placed my order, a gentleman named Angel delivered my drink. I also noticed on my receipt that my 12oz coffee was only $3.89!!! Super inexpensive and affordable compared to other coffee shops. And unlike other places, Resurrection didn't have a tip section on my credit card payment when I paid out. Say what?!? When I realized that, I went to drop a cash tip in the tip jar by the register. I also asked Alice about it. She said they didn't want people to feel obligated to tip. They just wanted to provide good coffee, food and service for their guests! WOW. The owners here are amazing human beings! I applaud them for that. But I also want to give them my money because they are creating such a nice coffee community here. Aside from that, the staff was very friendly from the lady when we ordered our food/drink, to the guy who delivered our order. We got the Oreo and Nutella croissant. I got the matcha frap, blended. Not sure which drink my friend got. The croissant had a perfect, flaky crust on it and the filling was not too sweet. It was very delicious.
