I kept hearing about the amazing cinnamon buns that they served here and since I was in the area I decided to stop by. Be careful when you're driving by because if you blink you'll miss it. It's a restaurant and they also have a section with their baked goods for sale. I was greeted as soon as I walked in and I immediately walked over to the area where there was delicious baked goods in a display cafe. I had to remind myself that I had gone in there with a mission to buy cinnamon buns and to not be swayed by all the goodies they had to offer. Donuts, apple fritters and cakes were among the items trying to tempt me. The cinnamon buns came unfrosted or with frosting so I got the ones with frosting because who can pass up homemade cream cheese frosting? These were some of the best cinnamon buns I've ever had, you can taste the love they put into making them. The restaurant section was busy with people eating brunch on an early Sunday afternoon. The staff I interacted with were very nice and I look forward to going back to eat at the restaurant and to getting some other baked goods. read more

When we visit Dania, we love to come to Bake Shack for breakfast. The people are super friendly and it's a really cute place. We absolutely love the food. Everything we tried has been delicious. I was in this part of town and decided to stop in. The place is so small but has so much character and charm. The man at the register was kind. I wanted to try their coffee but I had already had some so I'll definitely make a trip back. But I ordered honey bun and the doughboy breakfast sandwich. The sandwich was very good, I possibly wouldn't get the bread it came on again though because the top was extremely greasy. It's a very filling sandwich, I really wasn't hungry again until dinner and I went around 9 am. The honey hun was tasty although it did just reminded me of a glazed donut in a different shape. The bake shake is the definition of a mom and pop restaurant in the heart of Dania. It's on federal high. The parking is always good. The restaurant itself seats about 20 people on a good day but somehow there is always a place to sit. Most people do take out. But you can eat in if you want. The staff are extremely friendly. They are super helpful when you're unsure of what to choose on the menu. The menu has everything you would want for breakfast from pancakes and waffles, to breakfast sandwiches. We took a chance on this cozy little place based on so many positive reviews and it was truly a home run experience. We got to speak with the owner and he was very sincere in wanting customers to have a warm and enjoyable experience. We did! The coffee was delicious and the food was amazing. When you walk in the counter to order and pay is right there to the right before the small dining area. The place was busy with a long line so I had time to choose from the many options. You walk in to a bakery case teaming with all kinds of delicious looking donuts, scones, honey buns, cookies and more. Impossible to resist. They also have a breakfast menu you can order from. My wife tried the cinnamon bun French toast that were on special and continues to rave about them. Seating wise it is somewhat limited. Maybe 7 tables or so if I recall. We got there at a moment when it was empty, but by the time we left the line was out the door. Too bad because we definitely would have picked up some more items to take home! It's a small but ever-so-mighty spot serving up seriously delicious baked treats alongside breakfast and lunch. I keep coming back because it's simply divine. The breakfast is clean and filling, and the coffee... don't get me started. Their apple crumble latte left me feeling warm and cozy; it's perfect for me mainly because it's without that over-the-top sweetness other places drown you in. I didn't have a chance to read the reviews or view pictures of all the different items since I had just landed and wanted something to eat before checking into my Airbnb so I saw Bake Shack, a 4.5 rating and decided to give it a try. Food: Challah French Toast w/ Egg whites & Bacon: $8.95 [7/10] sides cost extra (eggs + bacon) The french toast was ok, it was flavorful but there was nothing too crazy about it. The presentation was dull there was no color on the plate just dazzled powdered sugar. It wasn't nasty but there was nothing that stood out compared to other french toast I've had. They put some butter and syrup in a clear cup incase you wanted a more sweeter taste but that didn't do to much in my opinion but again it was good is wasn't bad! The egg whites and bacon were fine. Nothing to say about them. My aunt got a sausage instead of bacon and it was just a singular piece, it looked like it was frozen and reheated so I'd probably just get bacon for a protein or just skip it entirely. Iced Coffee (with caramel & half and half): $3.75 (4/10) It was disgusting and reminded me of dunkin donuts coffee. There was half and half and caramel in the iced coffee and it tasted extremely flat and not really sweet or creamy. I wouldn't recommend I'd probably get another drink. Lemonade (mango): $2.95 (8/10) (mango lemonade costs extra) This was delicious and a lot better than the coffee. It was sweet and refreshing and you can definitely taste the mango in it. I've been dying to try their cinnamon rolls, so I finally caved. This is a cute little spot where you order and sit down. Today, I carried out. As I waited for my order, I realized it is super popular. I got two bacon egg and cheese wraps and a cinnamon roll to go. They quickly prepared my food and off I went. When my husband and I dug in at home, we were very pleased. All the ingredients were evenly dispersed throughout the wrap! I'd definitely order again or be interested in ordering and sitting down. They had plenty of other baked goods, including fancy donuts. All of these are on display from the moment you walk in the door. However, today was all about the cinnamon roll. When I finally got to enjoy it, I warmed it up and dug in. Boy, was it delightful. Most importantly, it was perfectly moist. Not a dry bit of pastry to be found.
