His appointment was at 9:00 AM, and he arrived at 9:19 AM due to unexpected traffic delays. Despite arriving and attempting to communicate, your staff marked him as a "no-show." What is especially concerning is that he tried calling the clinic while on the way, but the phone system was not functioning on the weekend, leaving him with no way to notify anyone of the delay. This reflects very poor customer service and an unacceptable patient experience. A 19-minute delay due to traffic should not automatically result in a patient being treated as a no-show, particularly when there was an effort made to contact the clinic. We expect better communication, flexibility, and professionalism from your office. I would like this matter reviewed by management, including your weekend phone accessibility and no-show policies, because this experience was handled unfairly and unprofessionally.

I scheduled an appointment to do a comprehensive eye exam, as it's been over a year since doing one. Upon check-in, I had to complete several pages of my medical history prior to being taken to the back. Thankfully, filling out the paperwork did not take too long whatsoever. The staff member who assisted me for the majority of the visit was Tanisha. Tanisha displayed nothing but a positive attitude and was extremely helpful from start to finish. Veronica also helped me out briefly, and she provided a pleasant level of care and customer service. Finally, I was greeted by the ophthalmologist - Soungmin Cho, M.D. What I appreciated the most was his thoroughness, professionalism, and reassurance about my eyes. He indicated that he didn't find anything concerning, which was such a huge positive thing to hear. Dr. Cho also provided helpful tips for maintaining my overall eye health. Glasses were not imperative and an absolute need for my situation, though they were still offered. I proceeded to order glasses anyway, just in case my eyes don't want to cooperate in some moments. The brand of the glasses I ordered was by Michael Kors. The frames are absolutely gorgeous and I'm in love with them. The glasses were ready for pick up on Wednesday, 04/08/26. I was not able to pick them up successfully until Tuesday, 04/28/26, due to my demanding schedule. Overall, the entire appointment regarding eye care was straightforward and an easy process. I had a lovely, incredible experience from the hospitality of the staff members/doctor to the quality of the glasses. I highly recommend coming here for quality patient care and vision needs.

When I eventually reached someone, I was told the ophthalmologist would not be able to prescribe glasses if I needed them. Fine -- so I asked to schedule an optometry appointment as well, since I was already on the phone. I was flat-out told no, and that I would have to physically come into the office just to schedule that appointment. In what world does that make any sense? It gets worse. I was then asked for my insurance information. I explained I needed literally two minutes to grab my wallet, and I was told she "couldn't wait" and that I would need to call back entirely. After spending well over an hour trying to get through in the first place, being told to start over because she couldn't wait two minutes was infuriating. The receptionist was rude, dismissive, and condescending throughout the entire call. It genuinely felt like she was doing everything possible to avoid scheduling an appointment. Every response felt like an excuse, and every question felt like another attempt to end the call rather than help a patient. If this is how new patients are treated before they even step foot in the office, I can't imagine what the rest of the experience is like. Completely unprofessional and a massive waste of time.

My family of three all wear glasses and we've all had trouble getting our glasses in a timely manner. Three times now our lenses have come back with quality issues. Currently, it seems they're shipping out to a lab in Texas, causing around three weeks turn around. We've also had issues with the lenses' quality being subpar now (cracks not caused by us dropping/damaging, sunglasses lenses being too light), and the repairs also take another three weeks to fix. A handful of times we weren't notified that glasses were ready for pick up, despite us calling in for updates. They rely on a text system to alert us, but we haven't always gotten an alert to our phone numbers on file. Additionally, frame brand options keep dwindling. Brookside no longer carries the variety we originally came here for. Furthermore, it's frustrating to call and get to talk to an AI assistant robot. If I wanted big box instead of a Stockton business, I'd not be shopping here. You try and talk to someone, but their hands seem tied to their business model.
