Dr. Pham is such a kind and gentle doctor. She was incredibly thorough and patient with my daughter during her eye exam. My daughter wasn't thrilled about the dilation part, but Dr. Pham and her team made it quick and smooth, which helped so much. The staff here are always friendly and professional. Everyone makes you feel welcome from the moment you walk in. I especially love the ladies who help with picking out glasses. They are honest, sweet, and make the whole process fun instead of stressful. The entire visit felt calm and caring, and it's clear that Dr. Pham truly loves what she does. Questionable billing practices. I just paid a "bill" from 3 years ago. The billing department stated it wa due to it not being released until just now. I then called back to pay the bill, after I was unable to get verified, and received a new number that was on the bill. My total remained the same, but the amount submitted was reported differently. Very questionable. Feels like a scam. I paid just to get away. No care issues with the staff and physicians, but billing makes me feel very concerned. read more

letter to tell them I had paid. I asked why after this amount of time did they decide I had not paid. I was told they had some book keeping problems. I told them that I was never given any credit nor did I ask for any. That I paid a deposit and the balance upon receipt as I had always done. That did not stop them. The next letter I returned with the same information written on it. That has not stopped the letters from them. I do not know how to handle this. They have signs posted everywhere no credit for anyone. I pointed this out and they still say I owe them. I think the person who waited on me must have taken the money. read more

If you're looking to be judged by your optometrist, give Dr. Joseph Zeiter a try, he'll gaslight you telling you that you know you have no feeling behind your eyes Well, the pain wasn't behind my eyes. It was on the outside of my eyes so I believe that's correct. Maybe because your families is in such standing in Stockton and Lodi and Manteca that you could just be a nasty to somebody! And that's how I felt a person being gaslit by a professional doctor. your patient's so thank you Dr. Joseph Zeiter Is it that you were so crappy to me because I got a free visit? Is that what it was? Lodi office manager was amazing though! But don't call the call center either because you'll be getting treated like crap oh and told that you haven't been there in five years when you actually go there every year. To anyone that's had great experiences here. I'm so happy for you. I'm so pleased for you, but see I've been going to them since I've been getting glasses. I am now 57 years old so. I've never dealt with one of the Zeiter drs it's always been a different ones until last week! I get it doctors and their patients don't always vibe together, but I didn't have any bad intentions going into it. I just wanted to see what was going on with my eyes. I have a pair of glasses that are so heavy. They put indents on my nose and I can't even see out of. I don't believe they are my script. I have to wait all the way till March 17 to have them checked out to see if they are the right prescription. So if I could! I would leave zero stars, but anybody that's ever posted on Yelp knows you can't leave zero stars you gotta at least leave one. I'm going on the 17th to get these glasses fixed. I would be the last time I ever go to Zeiter eye. How you could improve you can improve your call center, and the owners of the company that's what you could do. If I didn't spend $588 on a pair of progressive glasses, I wouldn't even go back. The service itself was good - the billing is horrible! If I am required to pay on the spot I should be able to get an itemized bill for what I am paying for on the spot. The fact that I have to call back take 10 minutes to review my information and then wait for the USPS to mail it for "security" purposes is absolutely ridiculous. Apparently Zeiter is not aware that snail mail gets stolen and well as email these days. The bottom line is if I am paying for services the bill should be itemized. if that is too much for a medical provider to provide truth in billing then it is time to update your system or time for me to find a better provider with upfront transparent billing. read more

I have been to Zeiter Eye for many appointments, surgeries, etc. and have always found them to be competent, professional and friendly. They provide a good qualify of care. this trip I was looking to have my prescription updated and replace 1 set of glasses I lost. They were able to squeeze me in fairly quickly provided me excellent service from the eye exam all the way through to decision on glasses/frames. Just received a PAST DUE NOTICE bill for a service back in 2022. Front office told me they had a glitch in their system and hundreds of bills went out. I tried to talk to the billing dept and lady said pay it or your going to collections. Tried to leave message with the President and was told he doesn't take calls. I do not do anything without prior insurance authorization so this why I questioned the bill. This is kinda like a government scam, maybe they own a Learing Center. I'm paying the bill because I don't want to get put into collections but will NEVER do business with them again. I hope they enjoy scamming and bullying patients for some extra cash. read more

Have had great care from Zeiter Eye Group especially Dr Pham who is awesome!!!! However, my sister went to Stockton to have cataract surgery today. She waited over an hour before she was taken in. The issue? Inmates, cuffed, orange jumpsuits and all were being treated. Multiple police in office... of course. But my question is, why did she have to wait while their care was first. It would have made sense to NOT have scheduled others while providing care to the inmates. We do not go to a Dr office to wait behind inmates. Not an experience you want to have especially waiting for your surgery. This was TOTALLY inexcusable. Very, very disappointed in the way this was handled. After hours, before hours whatever but do not keep patients waiting for this!!! read more

The care was excellent from the registration to the doctor explaining everything going on with my eyes very detailed service.

I drove from 2 hours away to go to my appointment for contact fitting and had to RESCHEDULE because I called and let them know I was going to be late because of traffic (like half an hour before my appointment). I don't remember who my doctor was, but the lady on the phone wouldn't let me go to my appointment because I was going to be 6 minutes passed the appointment time. I wasted my time. And I asked if I was going to be billed for having to reschedule because the doctor and office people didn't want to wait 6 minutes and the answer was yes. I am not paying that shit I am letting you know right now. Service was horrible, tone was nasty and wasted gas and time going to Zeiter. Whoever that doctor and lady was need to learn to wait, especially if their clients are coming from afar and have no control over the traffic. It was only 6 minutes. That doctor wants to be "punctual" but if I came on time, I would've had to wait 6 minutes for him to come out. read more

After years of paying for insurance and never going, I finally made an appointment and the only regret I have is not going sooner! The front desk gals were friendly. I did not wait too long for my appointment. The person helping with my scans and pictures was friendly and very helpful as well. I saw Dr. Pham for my main eye exam. She was very thorough and nice! All of the information she provided about my eyes were very useful and detailed. She addressed all of my questions with such patience. I highly recommend her! I thought picking out my frames would be daunting as there were many options. But the gal up front gave me very good recommendations. This year I returned for an exam because I liked the doctor I had last year (Patel), but I decided to buy my frames and lenses elsewhere. I am writing this review for Dr Jennifer Pham at Zeiter Eye in Lodi, who has been my optometrist for several years. She sets the bar high for knowledge, professionalism, kindness and the ability to actually listen and clearly answer. She's upgraded my contacts and most of all has helped manage my dry eye condition to a point where is extremely manageable, it's been a huge improvement in my quality of life and I'm very thankful. Overall I've extremely satisfied with the Zeiter Eye practice. Over the years they have been great and always have managed to fit me in on urgent matters at one of their several offices in this area. The doctor exam and doctor knowledge is amazing. They truly care about patient. Now the receptionist was horrible. They asked me for ID and when I showed them my California ID on the DMV app she rudely said what is that. Hello the DMV has added Driver licenses and real IDs to their app so it's my ID. She said they needed it in system and I said I'm not a new customer it should be in there. Then she said never mind just pay your bill. Excuse me I was planning on paying but do you have Apple Pay. No. I was like OMG let me get my wallet from the car. I came back she was still being rude her body language and everything that her coworker came to help. She then pushed out my receipt, and prescription. I let her know that she needed to work on her customer service. This is horrible.!! We pay a lot for insurance coverage and insurance pays a lot for our care! They have no business treating me like this! SMH read more

Have been going to Lodi Optometry for years. Never had a problem. Zeiter took over and things went downhill fast. First the prices went way up, then my long time Dr got fed up with them and left. Last time I was there I had found out about a new Dr; so asked for and got the new Dr. Was very happy with the new Dr. The customer service, however, was horrible and prices out of control. I was told they would send me my new prescription, as they were busy. I never got my new prescription. I am a creature of habit and loyal to local businesses. I have been getting photo gray lenses for many years. The time before when I got my new glasses the lenses didn't change while wearing a hat or driving. I was told that is how it is now. The lenses also kept flaking. The first time they put my many years old lens back in and sent the new lenses back. The second time I was told there was no more warranty and I was doing something wrong. Really? I have been wearing glasses all of my life and never had a problem, and my old lenses were still like new after many years. Glasses are very expensive and with no insurance I take very good care of them. I stopped by recently to make a new appointment. They couldn't be bothered, and I was told to make it online. Ok, so while there I wanted to get my glasses adjusted. The guy in that department was very rude and told me I needed new frames and my exam was over due. I told him I was there to make a new appointment and was turned away. No response and no adjustment. We don't get to Lodi all that often, so wanted to take care of everything while there. Get home and do the online appointment deal. You cannot make an appointment online! You send them an email from their website and are supposed to get a call back. After several days with no call, I called the Lodi number and got Stockton. I was able to make an appointment two weeks later; however my new Dr was no longer there. This was the straw that broke the camel's back. I did some research and found my new Dr at another place and was able to make an appointment there. Very disappointed with how things went so bad in just a few short years. Both of my great doctors left and the staff couldn't care less about us. There are so many other places to go; guess they make so much money they do not care about the people that have been going there for many years, sad. read more
