They insisted that is HAD to be mailed even though Merrill was managing the IRA. Their customer service was horrific...! I live in the city of Chicago and the mail system is unreliable at best. I was uneasy about having my life savings get thrown over the side of a bridge, which is know to happen. After much pressing they offered to us UPS. I requested to have a signature upon delivery, which I figured would be common given the amount of money. My customer service person said she could not request that service but had no problem charging me for the UPS delivery. She told me it was my responsibility to contact UPS when I get the email confirming delivery. When I contacted UPS they said the person who set up the delivery was responsible for setting up the type of service. So, UPS could not change it to a signature. In the end UPS made it happen after talking to a great customer service person at UPS. No thanks to Ascensus. AVOID ASCENSUS LIKE THE PLAGUE. WORST EVER....!

It's almost impressive how aggressively short-sighted that is. Instead of building loyalty, they've somehow turned a basic function into a reason to walk away. I have been going back and forth over writing a review. I usually let things go, but this…read moreexperience I could not. The experience I had upset my husband and me. So, upon reading several negative reviews on the Charles Schwab Horsham branch, I took a chance to go there anyway due to the convenience of the location. The female representative in the office was very friendly and offered great customers to her ability. However, when the Branch manager came out. That's when my experience changed. The branch manager was not welcoming at all. My husband wanted to ask him a question; he seemed uninterested, very nonchalant in his response to the point of being stand-offish. He referred us to the other account rep in the office, and he seemed not to care either. Although we have a fiduciary to manage our account, I felt being a customer to Schwab for 25 years; he could have at least been courteous towards us in seeing if our question was something that he could answer. I may not have a hundred thousand dollars in my account, but I deserve to be treated with respect with the money I have in my account. This was my first time at that branch and my last. I will drive to the Philadelphia branch regardless of the travel distance for better customer service.

This was the worst banking experience I've EVER had and here is why:…read more I recently stopped by this PNC Branch to deposit and withdraw some cash. Of course when you want to deposit money, they treat you like a queen and there are never any issues with putting my money in their bank. But when I went to withdraw some cash (which I do consistently on a bi-weekly basis), you would have thought I was trying to rob the place. The teller (Nataly) asked for another form of ID and I gave her my ATM card in addition to my drivers license. She then said she needed to get approval so she walked three windows down and was waiting to get approval. Well that lady (Lisa) had a customer so I just stood their waiting for a few minutes because apparently there was no one else who could "approve" it. Finally Nataly gives my IDs and withdrawal form to Lisa. Then Lisa yells down to me and asked if I was in town for a visit. I didn't appreciate that she yelled so the whole bank could hear our conversation when she could have asked me to walk down there or she could have come to the window I was at. I explained that I was in town for the weekend. She then proceeded to ask why I was in town and did it so everyone in the bank could hear. I finally walked to her window and asked why this was an issue since she had my drivers license and ATM card. Lisa had an attitude the whole time I was trying to convince here that I was who I said I was. She insisted that they needed to verify who I was since I was in PA and had a VA license, but she could have done it with out the attitude. I told her I appreciate that but I answered all of her questions, so she didn't need to be so accusatory. She then asked me to verify my last transaction, which I did and then she finally seemed like she would give me my cash. Remember this is MY money I'm talking about here. I wasn't trying to get a loan from the bank, I was simply trying to withdraw MY money. She finally handed me my cash and I asked for an envelope and she said they are sitting right there at the edge of the window and wouldn't even hand it to me. She didn't even count money for me or put it in an envelope. So I stood there and counted my money at her window and put it in my envelope myself. I've NEVER experience such bad customer service! I've been PNC customer for a while now and this service was unacceptable. I definitely will NEVER go back to this branch and I'm considering not banking with PNC anymore because of this awful experience.

Everytime I go I am greeted by such nice people. I just joined this bank and love the branch!read more
