Over the weekend we had a work event held at Reunion Ranch & let me tell you it was soooooo much fun!! When you rent out Reunion Ranch (the outside grounds..a whole bunch of acres :) you have the entire place to yourself w/ access to over 41 activities..let me repeat that..YES, 41 activities!! There really was something for everyone one to enjoy..from the babies to the grown peeps! And the Reunion Ranch staff are so organized & kept things flowing so smoothly..even with over 400 attendees! I also really liked how the RR staff would announce over the loud speaker what activity was about to start. Activities Reunion Ranch offered: -tug of war mud pit..yes, complete with a real MUD PIT!! -volleyball courts -canoe & paddle boats -man made little sand beach -maze -horse shoes & washers -miniature golf -zip line -wagon rides -pony rides -obstacle course -teen tower -dunking booth ect ect ect And so many more activities but tooooo many to name & I'm not trying to get carpal tunnel ;) Another thing I give kudos to Reunion Ranch is the food serving line..they have about 6 different serving lines w/ RR staff making the plates & even w/ over 400 people in attendance the wait time was super fast. We had all you can eat barbecue plates & all you can eat Bluebell ice cream cups! There also was cotton candy, popcorn, & snow-cones for everyone to enjoy & for us adults..the libations offered were...sangrias, beer, & wine!! I was a regular at the sangria station!! ;) Reunion Ranch really is a cool place to have a team building event, reunion, or a wedding. The venue itself is so pretty surrounded by lots of trees & just has a different vibe to it. For sure I totally recommend Reunion Ranch!! I am a long-time fan of RR. Every time I go there for an event, their venue seems to have another improvement. RR is the perfect place for a team building event, family reunion, office party, or really any large gathering of people. RR has several paved and covered pavilions with ample amounts of seating, a cement pad for dancing, a covered stage, restrooms, a huge play area for kids, tire swings, tether ball, a place for pony rides, zip lines, paddle boats, a real swimming pool, miniature golf, food lines where most often BBQ is served, more parking than anyone would need, VERY friendly staff and several water stations throughout the park. Pro Tip: If you are visiting during the summer months be sure to bring an umbrella (or parasol) and sunscreen. read more

Sorry, when you called after thanksgiving to ask what we thought of your meal, you spoke to my husband, not me. Your food was not good. The smoked turkey was swimming in water, and next time tell people who order that the meat will be smoked. I had to completely remake the dressing all you did was add water and cranberries to Pepperidge farms. The gravy was canned as were the green beans and cranberry sauce. I could open cans if that's what I wanted. Mashed potatoes were passable, that's all. I gave the pumpkin pie away to my lawn guys. We won't order through you again next time speak to the lady of the house. read more

This place is far off my grid but it was beautiful. They had everything covered from beginning to end. I went to my cousin's wedding reception earlier. I have no complaints. They had plenty people on staff. The place was clean and had a huge dance floor. It's def country! The outside is beautiful too! Especially when the sun sets. It's for cowboys/cowgirls!!! read more

What a great venue! Today they hosted a huge Veterans BBQ -Free for vets and their families---and a few pets too! My gosh-Something for everyone! A small fenced in inground pool. A huge playground area. A ridiculously large pavilion. Today it was filled with delicious barbecue that had been cooked by many contestants who had set up just down the way a little bit on the same property. They started cooking last night and cooked all night long. It smelled fabulous but it was just to hot outside to eat. They also had somebody cooking hotdogs. There were free waters available everywhere. Some of the bigger better and agencies were there along with retail venues that have special programs that support our veterans as well as health care agencies like Kindred Hospice who has a special veterans program for Vets who need hospice care and Vets who want to volunteer to visit patients Who request veteran volunteers.or veteran volunteers can help in an admin type capacity within the office. We were personally surprised to find out both Costco and Sam's have special programs that support veterans by giving any dish no discount or some other freebies. There was a small car show on the premises too. Was a really nice celebration and a great way to start the Memorial Day Weekend.!!!! read more

From the linens, table set up, food, drinks, this place is remarkable!!! Reunion Ranch also has a huge closet of items you can use, we were able to use some mason jars for table decorations, saving me from having to buy some!!! The day we were setting up for my daughter's wedding, Berry Lynn was right there helping us hang chandeliers in the gorgeous trees that grace the property. Wow! We went here over the weekend for the annual company picnic and I was more than pleasantly surprised! We had access to the huge ranch, the covered wagon rides, the paddle boats in the creek that I got stuck in (but I sure had fun though)...and wait, there is more!! A kickball field, volleyball court, small shaded golf course, huge playground with the big rope thing....if you have been here you know what I am talking about....a swimming pool and 2 huge covered picnic areas....basketball court, I mean I know I am missing things...those were just the high points... IT WAS SO MUCH FUN! I had no idea what we were in store for ...It was hilarious and a fun day with great open fresh air out in the middle of nowhere off of Ronald Reagan and some other out there road.....we all had fun...the kids had the most fun....yes, we will call them kids having the most fun..... I wish it were closer for some of us, but I get it....hundreds of us could be loud and out there and this is not the kind of place that can be just anywhere....it was truly a ranch of fun and fun, silly memories....that is what it's all about, anyway.... read more

Woo HOO! I'm the first to review! Now that I got that out of my system.... We went there for a company picnic recently and, despite the 100 degree heat, still managed to have a good time! For a traditional company picnic, this is the place to go. They have everything you could want there. The items I remember off of the top of my head are: huge playscape with a fort and tire climbing wall and so much more(my husband said the climbing wall was just like the ones from Marine boot camp!), basketball, softball, mini-golf, volleyball, disc golf, paddle boats, swimming, tractor rides, pony rides, bingo, silly team games, uhhhh...I know I'm forgetting some things. Of all the amenities, the swimming pool was the shabbiest. It's fairly small and pretty warm. Also some the bricks around the edges were sticking up and cut a kid's foot. Everything else was well-maintained and easy to use. The staff that runs the place (which seemed to be all high-schoolers) was nice and kept everything picked up and neat. The food was fine. My husband loved the sausage. I'm sure you can get a choice of what to serve when you reserve it. My company went with the BBQ. It was brisket (dry), sausage (good), potato salad, beans, and all the fixins. Food service is efficient and fast. They know how to move large groups of people through. The dessert we got was Blue Bell ice cream in those tiny little cups. I'd complain about that but it was more than made up for by the free alcohol we got. For drinks they had a non-alcoholic stand open with soft drinks, water, sno-cones and an alcoholic stand open with beer and sangria slush (I think that's what is was called.) Man, those slushes were GOOD. Between the heat and the sangria, I maintained a nice buzz. They were really good. The biggest downside was the weather which I know they can't control but still! There are a couple of pavillions where everyone gathers and they had big fans up in each corner with these makeshift misters things. When it's 100 degrees out, fans and a water hose only go so far, if you know what I mean. So, I'd go again. My 4 year old had a blast and if the weather was cooler, I might participate in all those activities. If it's still hot, I'll just sit back with the slushes and wait for a cool breeze. read more

Amazing venue and staff for special events. I attended a veterans event there recently supporting "Heroes Night Out" and the staff was great, the facility really relaxing, and the grounds were beautiful at night. The bar is small, but gives you everything you need. So if you need a formal night out like we had or just a big company picnic, I highly recommend the Reunion Ranch for it. read more

I was visiting Reunion Ranch on Saturday for a wedding. The venue was beautiful. The food was good and the staff was wonderful. Unfortunately, we did not have the time to experience all that the venue has to offer but the acres and acres of land was wonderful and a perfect setting for an amazing wedding. There was plenty of room and many things set up for people of all ages including yard games, swings etc. The bartenders were fast and friendly. There were passed apps during the cocktail hour that were amazing. Dinner was buffet style very tasty. I would like to return to this venue again in the future and explore all the activities that they do have on site. read more

First off, this place is beautiful. There's a lot of space, and it's everything I would imagine in a Texas ranch. I went here for a clay shoot event. There was so much space, I think there were about 15 shooting stations set up. Lunch and dinner were served during this all-day event in the wonderfully rustic main hall. I loved the decorations of this main hall: taxidermy everywhere, iron stars, and adorable horseshoe hooks in the bathroom. I docked one star for the mediocre food. The brisket was dry, NOT what I'd expect for Texan BBQ. The potato salad was alright. The pulled pork BBQ sandwiches were also uneventful. Other than that, this place is great. Just went to a wedding here this past weekend. It was so gorgeous! The wedding was outside under HUGE trees. They served dinner, BBQ of course, and it was actually really good! For the 3rd year in a row, I have coordinated a 2500+ person event at the Reunion Ranch. Last week, we just wrapped the 3rd year, and cant say enough great things about Reunion Ranch, the venue and the staff. The staff are amazing, led by Jay Pearce. They are helpful and work very hard to make the day very special. More importantly, each year, Jay Pearce (the owner of the Ranch) worked as a partner with me to make the event better and better. Jay is a very hands on owner, and makes helpful suggestions which improve the quality of the event. All the activities at the event will keep your guests entertained for hours. We had our wedding here in 2005 and this venue was completely wonderful. I have planned enough weddings for my friends and I knew what I wanted and what I didn't want. Berry Lynn was awesome to work with and made everything beautiful and perfect! Our guests thoroughly enjoyed themselves and I still get compliments about what a great time they had. My package came with all you can eat BBQ (and it was yummy!), wine, beer, sodas tea and coffee, plus the emcee/dj and Berry Lynn's professional touch and wedding expertise. My husband and I chose Reunion Ranch for our wedding venue Sept 6th and had the best experience! We searched alllll over for places and immediately wrote a check when we came here. One of my elimination questions was "do other weddings leave decorations here after the wedding and are those leftovers available?"...most venues would say "yes" but we would have to rent them from them (what?!? Penny pinchers), but Berry Lynn opened up a huge closet and said I could use anything in there! So we didn't have to buy any decorations, we just used the venue's decor. The venue was rustic yet elegant, outside ceremony spot was perfect and it was great working with Berry Lynn. This is a very inclusive venue and we just had to provide our own photographer, cake, and flowers. An open bar (beer and wine) is included in the price and there's a chef on site. Berry Lynn coordinated and provided so many awesome staff members to help. We had help with set up (got to come in more than 24 hours before since there wasn't a wedding Friday) and they did all the clean up after the wedding. We have hosted our 3,000 person event at Reunion Ranch for a few years and it has been absolutely fantastic. The ranch is massive and has so many built in activities for families. From a putt putt course to the covered wagon and basketball courts and paddle boats - they have everything! There is plenty of room for a stage, a sound system, tents, etc. Jay and his staff are so knowledgeable about the property and they have a system down to a science when it comes to set up and tear down of the event. Jay and his staff are not only knowledgeable, but accommodating and welcoming to everyone. We used some of their own house decorations. They have everything included in the price...food, set up, servers, alcohol. It is just a class act. Thank you Berry Lynn. Thanks to the new chef which prepared the most delicious food. The groom's family even planned the rehearsal dinner there and that food was also AMAZING!
