We had a medium size wedding, just a few guests shy of 200. A few months before my wedding, I had already have most of the vendors picked out and in place. However, we were still working on the music and caterer and a few little things. But it was time to search for a wedding planner to bring our wedding vision to life. I had interviewed with a couple of wedding planners based on their great reviews. All of them seemed to know their craft well. However, Alyson stood out to my husband and I because of her flexibility and her willingness to step up and make things happen for us. She put up with our procrastination. She didn't have a survey with 100 different questions for us to fill out. We just had to give her the vendors info, general idea of our vision for the wedding, worked on what was being set up where, and the schedule for the wedding. Alyson was a life saver this summer for our backyard wedding celebration for my daughter. About a month and a half from the date I realized I had absolutely no idea what I was doing and needed help. Alyson and Brook with Mockingbird Lane Events were fantastic! I'm not sure how most weddings go, but ours seemed to have more than our share of challenges. The main ones being that the groom tested positive for Covid 4 days prior to the original date which led to postponing the wedding 3 weeks and rescheduling every vendor! And then, on the day of, the charter bus company called and canceled!
