Dudes has a nice selection of suede and leather shoes that aren't cheap, but are one-of-a-kind in this city. It's a good place to keep your eye on, 'cause we're all just one RSVP away from needing to restock our shoes to match that jacket.

Recently I bought a 30$ corset top, tried it on, and realized it just wasn't my color and I didn't like the design on me like I thought I would. So literally a day after I bought this top, I try to return it, and the person behind the counter says she can't accept it because the top was damaged. She pointed to these little white marks which I feel were very unlikely to have been caused by me as I had nothing that would change the color of the dye, but even if she was right that meant the top was not made out of quality material and $30 was an outrageous price to pay for it since it got ruined in a single night. I didn't even wear it for long. I could just as easily go to the rainbow across the street and buy something from clearance for 5$ that won't get ruined from a single wear and last me for several years. Yet Eternity insists on charging $50 for a lot of these items. It's a waste of your time and your money, honestly might as well stick to hot topic because at least they'll give u a full refund if anything breaks too fast.

I had rectified the former, and thought I did with shoes, but coming into Sherman brothers I learned quite a few things. Firstly, the people here are wonderful, polite, courteous, attentive, and were very helpful in all my questions and inquiries. I had been eyeing a pair of Alden 403 Indy boots, and have quite a few pairs of quality mens shoes. However, the Indy boots can be notoriously difficult to size due to the last and shape of the shoe. If fitted correctly, I had heard these were the most comfortable pair that one can own. I had come in twice, once I was helped by Ken and the second time by Jose. The first time being fitted, I got a different size than what Jose recommended in the end. But after careful measuring, sizing, resizing, and resizing some more, I was assisted to get the best fit possible for my strangely sized feet. All in all, it took about an hour and a half, but you just won't get the same kind of experience at another shop. The folks here have been in the trade for decades, and the level of knowledge and experience is just unmatched. If like me, you went to a shop thinking the customer service members knew what they were talking about, you might be suffering with an incorrect size for years. I'd say if it's your first pair of nice dress shoes or boots, come to Sherman brothers first. Even if you were to get the most amazing pair of shoes from another shop, it won't mean anything when you're suffering from walking all day in an ill-fitted pair.

Long to short, the shoes were taken back without a refund to be "returned to the manufacturer" to explore the issue. Was told they would contact us when returned. Fast forward 3 weeks after hearing nothing... We stop in to get an update only to find the shoes were never sent out, no explanation except to represent they addressed the issue by brushing the shoes reducing, but not resolving the issue. This is a hack job, terrible business. Run, do not walk from this place... Or purchase at your own risk... You have been warned. Fools Gold of shoe spots. Try Allen Edmonds just a Block down... service, quality, selection... All much better. They actually stand behind the quality of their product.
