For a souvenir shop as well, they also include not only a "clearance" section at great prices but I was able to snag two crewnecks for 30$ each..! Super pleased :) The interior was a bit cramped in some places and some sizes were not available in things I would have liked but I did find some things, and the staff was pleasant enough. Better than most places and a definite recommendation from me :)

This time I came in I bought a cute sweater in a dark bubble gum pink color. It was waffle style. Had a longer front and back, with the sides a little higher. I also bought a TNA T-shirt. Very simple with just their TNA logo embroidered on it. Their space is decent sized, but there aren't too many options. There are a few changing rooms in the back and they do carry a few different brands other than their own. You can sign up for their email list as well when you check out in order to accumulate points on your purchases. I think it is a hit or miss whether you will find something that you like here or not.

I realized I left 2 bags in their store the night before with souvenirs I bought my family and I called them before takeoff from the airplane when I realized it. The girls there were gracious enough to walk them to my hotel which is also in the village so they can ship them home to me in California. Ordinarily I would have passed by a store front this unpretentious but I'm glad the rest of the town looked even less appealing. One Earth seems to be a collection of all sorts of arts, crafts and jewelry from artists. A print of Vanessa Stark's caught my eye, and for $35 Canadian I thought it was a steal (I am going to frame this beautiful piece). The assortment of jewelry is every jewelry collector's dream come true. I found earrings that don't look remotely like any of the ones I own and I own too many pairs. The piece ranges from reasonable to quite hefty. I left One Earth a print piece and a pair of earrings to add to my name, and a happy customer!

There have been times I've gone in to browse and walked out having spent more money than I would like to admit. There was one lady I've seen there that wouldn't help me because she was busy talking to two of her friends that were visiting about the party they had the night before. Other than that the service here has been good. There's usually a different lady I see when I'm there and she's great. I like to stop in whenever I'm in the area and have a bit of time to look around and find cool things for myself or for gifts.

It appears this is the main marketplace in Whistler, because it's like a small town, but it does sure feel like a tourist trap. After eating at Peaked Pie, we walked around this marketplace and visited some stores and even the lodge to use their washroom. I feel all the ladies who work here are really nice and friendly. The men aren't friendly at all. No greeting, no offer of assistance, no nothing. Kinda weird, but okay. In addition to the stores and eateries, there's also several parks, police and fire station, theatre, clinics, library, and museum, and etc. This kinda marketplace feels like those city building games where you put all the main buildings in close proximity to each other, add in a lodge, and lines of stores here and there. There are many local and outdoor clothing and sports gear stores here, and they are very expensive. Overall, it was interesting walking around here because it does feel like you're in a small town where everyone knows each other, and when tourists come along, they try to sell you their goods at top dollar. I don't think I'll buy anything from here. Just here for the food and coffee.

From the Spritz brand aromatic sprays that tone and refresh, to Harlow skin care I indulged in sample nirvana. Then I spotted THE boot brand SHOTO! Hand made in Italy, I am now smitten and on the prowl! Oh yes they had a the bag brand Market Canvas, I can see one of these on my shoulder sooner than later. The shop staff was kind and informative, and I shared one of my favorite Italian leather manufactures with them. I left the shop with a wealth of new product information. My philosophy is to shop local is possible, especially when traveling and go look and handle items, and learn about new things that may enrich your life in some little way. I finally stopped by, and although they do sell surprisingly interesting giftware, they also sell women's clothes. The clothing is pretty much in the neutral colours around which you build your wardrobe. Everything I saw was casual clothing (denim, tops, sweaters), and the merchandise ranged from classic to stylish. I would say the items are definitely not cheap, but they are different than the other stores in Whistler. There appeared to be limited quantities of each item too, so if it's important to you to not see other women around town in the same top, this is a good choice. Overall, I think the store is a 4.5. I rounded up because it's a unique store in Whistler. It's worth a look, if you are in the area.

They have more women's clothing than men's, but for their size and location it's a great spot for items you may need. They have clothing upstairs for women, and shoes and change rooms. And then downstairs they have men's, children's and house hold goods. It's a cute little shop, with extremely friendly staff.
