The care taken on details such on removing hardware, sanding, replacing a light bulb In a vaulted ceiling during the paint process is one of many things that pushes this review so high. The job took about 2 weeks but it was finished as planned with everything exceeding our expectations. I would very highly recommend this small local business not only in Monroe County but the St Louis area.

I hired Chad to drywall my workshop in October of 2021 and paid him $6,000 as a deposit. He had a…read morestack of drywall and joint compound delivered, then texted me to say he had a family emergency, couldn't do the job and would be returning my deposit less the materials he'd purchased. After seven months of calling him I still don't have any refund. I offered to work out terms for repayment, or to let him do another job to settle up on what he owes me. He's made zero effort to resolve this and fed me one excuse after another, as has his son Justin. He told me on Nov 2, 2021 that he'd mailed me a refund (less the cost of materials), which was of course a lie. "I'm out of town", "my truck broke down", "I don't have my checkbook with me", "I don't do paypal or venmo so I can't use that to get you a refund", "long covid"... I have all of this in email and text messages from Chad and Justin. Do not hire this guy.

They were to paint our 2000 sq ft first level. After the first day, we started hearing comments I'm not here to fix someone else drywall messes. Plus, they came one day and not see them for days. Excuses were his staff, aka his son was sick with flu or chad had neck problems or said they would be here and not show up and ignore emails and questions. They finished on 3 Dec, this was primarily because we were tired of dealing with them.....so many excuses from truck breakdowns to being sick, dr appts or they left early because they got mad at us. We are still trying to fix sloppiness. Oh, every room has paint on carpet. Plus paint on outside mat coming into house and paint on floor in garage. Oops forgot paint on furnishing and comforter in bedrooms. We have pictures to validate all complaints.
