They looked at the truck and pointed out items that were damaged that we didn't even notice. They made sure everything was repaired and replaced properly, covered by the other person's insurance, and they even were able to get it back to us earlier than expected! While I hope we're not involved in any other automobile accidents, this is who I would return to if we needed repairs.

I think I strolled around it a half dozen times. I even traced my fingers along the seam lines where the panels, plastic and accessories met. I looked at the sticker on the back to make sure it was my car. I just couldn't believe what a great job Top Notch did AGAIN. I say "again", because they impressed me about 4 years ago when they repaired another vehicle. I wondered if they were really this good, or if maybe the first time I got lucky. Look, I risk coming off here as overly effusive, but from start-to-finish -- their communication, clarity, detail, creativity, going the extra mile -- I've now experienced it twice with them, and it was excellent both times. I drove out to Winder to visit Akins Ford for an estimate on fixing my poor wrecked F150. It looks…read moreterrible. I cried and cried! I really need to get it fixed and I want it fixed right. One good thing about the aluminum bodied Ford pick up trucks is that you almost have to take them to a Ford dealer to get body work. It takes specially trained technicians to work these on these aluminum bodies. They have to have special tools and they have to have special training. I've never had any work done at Akins Ford but I've heard lots of good things about them. The people in the office were very nice and very helpful. It only took a minute or so before the estimator came out to meet with me. He was very professional and pretty quick. He told me he would email me the results of his estimate. It is a huge dealership with hundreds of cars and trucks in stock right on thelot. There's a lot to see . They also carry Chrysler and Jeep products. They have a really rad Jeep display in front of the building. They parked three of them climbing some huge boulders and they look pretty cool. I am very happy with the service I have got so far at the Akins Ford collision center. I have complete confidence in them doing my repair for my truck. I would not let just anyone touch it.

AJ is the worst services manager I have ever worked with. No call backs, rarely ever answer's his phone, no updates on progress, slow progress, terrible parts ordering practice, no qaulity control or over site on repair process. Not sure how this guy keeps his job. I will say that Eric and Tim, who are over AJ, where much more helpful in terms of communication. They too failed to follow up on quality control. This took multiple trips on my part to get my vehicle. If you say the vehicle is ready, you should probably actually lay eyes on it and make sure it is. Leaving parts off, and not checking that parts are fully attached is just unexcusable. Take some pride in your work folks! Maybe you all need a check list to follow so you don't miss steps in the processes, or if you have one, try following it. Pro: The paint looks good. Parts seem to be good after fixing some issues. Cons: Communication, or should I say the lack of. AJ as my service manager. Quality control. Paperwork incorrect, has the wrong name on it. Loud and annoying ladies in the attached rental companies area. Sounded like a party in there. Not exactly what your looking for while sitting in the waiting room. Need to take the nasty temporary floor mat out of the car before hand it it over to the customer. Do yourself a favor and find another shop!

After 8 months of delays and frustrations primarily with Brown & Brown (Jamie!), I got my car back…read moreand it is still not fixed. I had an object hit the front of my Benz GL450 and mess up the bumper and some dash lights came on. Brown & Brown was to repair the body work and pull the codes for the repair shop to fix and sensors/etc damaged from the accident. They pulled the codes and sent them to me, plus started the repair process. The repair code showed a bad sensor for the front wheel, damage from the accident. Then Scott 'cleared' the codes and denied they existed - after I was already sent the code report. They tried to say the insurance denied the code report and repairs, but they never reported the codes to the insurance company for repairs. After months of delays from Jamie in the office for ordering the wrong parts (she claims they sent the wrong part THREE times, LOL). My insurance company and I both were getting frustrated (I was in a rental for the 8 months), Jamie sent me a txt saying "move your vehicle to another shop, we are not working on it anymore". She stated in another text I can "take my shit somewhere else". She stated "pay us and move your car to a different shop". Extremely unprofessional! Benz of Athens had to finish the repairs, which they did in 12 days! Scott, her husband, does all the work. He seems nice, but also can be shady. During one of my visits to get an update they started yelling at each other, I walked out. So unprofessional in front of a customer! Do not trust Jamie - she is a poor office manager, basically a business babysitter, and will lie to everyone (insurance, you, etc) as to not accept blame for her own actions. I later found out she forged my signature to an insurance check for a supplement. My insurance company has now opened an investigation into her actions. This could result in legal actions and criminal charges to include insurance fraud, falsification of documents, and forgery.

We were lucky enough to discover them after an unfortunate smash-n-grab on my car, and each time, Ethan and the rest of the staff have been amazing. They are committed to doing quality work. Any time I have an issue that their shop could work on, I go to them first. They did decal repair for us and they put in extra time to find a really supplier that wouldn't gouge us. Dodge wanted like 4x the price. After the install, the even threw in some extra work for free on the paint around the decals, which looks amazing. At some point I'll have them do the rest of the car so it all gleams. Ethan even stayed after 5 on Friday, pro-bono, one time to check my friend's tires. How many auto shops do you know that would do that! I tried to tip him for it but he insisted it was just how they do business. A+ service shop. My only advice would be, they can get busy, so you may have to follow up a couple times to get a slot. It's worth it!!
