D liked her because she is also an NYU alum, and we both liked the vibe we got just from reading her website before we even met her. She has a true gift for capturing your love story and told it so beautifully on our wedding day. We couldn't have asked for more - everyone told us that ours was the BEST wedding ceremony they have ever been to, so unique, so sweet and so special. And they also learned more about us as a couple (ie. we are super competitive when it comes to our board games, haha!). We received about a zillion compliments and two months after our wedding people are still commenting on how beautiful, special and romantic our ceremony was. Denise was so understand and compassionate, and was available the day of our wedding. Our first phone call, she made me feel so relaxed and in good hands. She is very easy to work with and is always available to answer questions. We filled out a questionnaire so she could get to know myself and my husband a bit more and then she wrote out our wedding services based on the extensive questions she asked. We were given a chance to read through and review the ceremony, which she wrote out in full detail. Denise is so well organized and provides excellent attention to detail, and we were so pleased with this. She gave us peace of mind for our wedding day. When we met Denise for the rehearsal we immediately felt she is such a kind soul who is in this field because of her passion for love and for helping others with their special days. We had decided to gather a small group of our friends and family for a semi-informal outdoor ceremony overlooking the mountains we love to hike. We thought Rev. Louis was terrific. First of all, he arrived right on time, neatly dressed in a suit and tie. He was relaxed, calming and really friendly. For the ceremony and vows, he read a heartfelt but simple script he had written that hit home for all of us. He helped to make our day even lovelier than what we expected.
