They have also left a dumpster in my driveway, blocking my garage, and junk in my yard, while I am being told to wait through rainstorms without gutters while other customers take precedent due to "scheduling issues". Additionally, while I am paying for crown molding on the entire house, they have only replaced the one section that was damaged.

Communication and project management were inconsistent throughout the job, which required far more homeowner oversight and repeated follow-up than we expected just to keep work moving. Several workmanship and finish-quality issues arose during the project, including items that remained unresolved near the end. A walkthrough was conducted, the full balance ($50,835) was paid, and the county completed the final inspection and issued the Certificate of Occupancy. Despite this, remaining finish items were not completed and follow-up stopped. Closeout communication also became unnecessarily confrontational despite our consistent good-faith efforts to resolve issues and bring the project to a proper conclusion. Based on our experience, we would not recommend this company.

The project manager Mike and the decking crew led by Lupe that rebuilt and extended our deck did a great job. They need to improve the communication between the sales side and the project manager. I would suggest a meeting with the construction manager, project manager and the home owner to make sure all are the same page right up front. The project was done in a week, including the Saturday before Memorial Day to make our deck usable. I would recommend them for a new or rebuilt deck.

He educated me on the problem (and I say this as someone who doesn't know the first thing about carpentry) and then essentially showed me it was an unnecessary repair. He said he could fix it for a certain number, but it wasn't necessary. The man saved me thousands of dollars and earned my trust. He clearly knows what he's doing. I know who I'm calling the next time I need any wood or bathroom work done. I'll also add he emphasized he didn't mind small jobs at all; a very helpful thing to know. In July, I discovered that we had serious wood rot issues and reached out to several contractors. Ezequiel was not the least expensive but I recognized immediately his absolute dedication to doing quality work. Oddly, he doesn't put his contracts in writing and normally that would be a nonstarter for me ... especially with fronting half of the $ up front! But I reached out to former customers and you just get a sense of Ezequiel's integrity when talking with him . We shook hands on the deal and it was one of the best decisions ever. Ezequiel told me up front that I likely had additional wood rot that I hadn't yet discovered. Our upfront deal included replacing all the cosmetic (not structural) wood rot on the house, building brand new shutters, and painting the house. Structural wood rot discovered wood be separate. He did indeed find major structural wood rot and his price to fix that was very fair. I really feel that someone without Ezequiel's integrity would have gouged me on that. I was so pleased with the work that we did another handshake deal to build out a screened in patio under my deck. Overall my wife and I are thrilled with the work and recommend Ezequiel to everyone. The key differentiator with him is the pride in the work. He doesn't cut corners when the customer would never know. He would know . He wants the work to be done thoroughly and right.

I am extremely pleased with Monster Exteriors and its owner, Kody B. I live in a very small (630…read moresquare feet) condominium. I was pretty sure that given the distance, traffic, and his robust schedule, he would decline such a small job as mine which was to repair my front door which was not fitting, closing, or locking properly. Kody booked my appointment right away, clearly concerned, and arrived exactly on time. Not only did he fix the door (turned out that the hinges just needed adjusting), but also explained that purchasing a new door would have been extremely expensive and probably impossible to find given the outdated dimensions and high-quality solidness of the existing door. He replaced the weather stripping and installed a new sweep onto the bottom of the door to keep a secure seal. I can already tell that my thermostat is working far less than it used to due to the improvements Kody made. He estimated that I will probably see a $10.00 per month on my utility bills. While Kody was here, I asked him if he would be interested in my hiring him to replace two bifold latticed hall closet doors which no longer fit after I replaced my carpet with vertically higher hardwood floors. I hired three contractors, each of which inspected and declined the job saying that it was an impossible task due to the standard, builder-grade closet door length not fitting. All three suggested that I should hang a curtain in lieu of a door. Kody looked over the frame and floor height and did several measurements to figure out how the problem could be solved. He said that there were doors that he could customize to fit the space. Kody picked them up, sanded them to fit, applied them with 4 coats of paint that perfectly match the existing paint in my home, and carefully installed them. They glide beautifully and look so much better than the building-grade lattice doors I had before, each of which never closed properly. The new doors are solid, sliding doors. The design of the doors perfectly match my kitchen cabinetry doors. For the door installers, it was all about the doors not fitting. For Kody, it was thinking about making the doors fit. P.S. ~ Kody is very tall. Just as he was leaving, I randomly told him that I had a bug that fell from the attic into my bathroom fan light that was impossible for me (5'2") to reach under any circumstance, even with a step stool. Every morning it was the first thing I saw when getting ready for work (ugh). I asked Kody as he was leaving if he could remove it. He reached up, removed the plastic cover, flushed the bug, and replaced the cover. Fewer than 30 seconds. He looked at me, smiled and said "Done!". That's Kody.
