I only visit here occasionally, but each time has been a pleasant experience, and I've never left empty-handed yet. The staff here are very friendly and welcoming. Prices are good, most of the time, but that's solely at the vendor's discretion. Regardless, it's great to see what oddities show up with each new visit.

The issue that we have are with the extended Furniture Protection Company that they sell. "Guardsmen" is terrible at service when you need them. For what you pay for this protection and the level of service that they provide is terrible. In my opinion, I would not recommend this addition cost. I have been waiting for three months now to get someone to come out to the house to order a $25.00 part and then we have to wait even more for the part. Meanwhile you can not use the recliner on a very expensive leather couch. Guardsmen farms it out to a third party and they suck, in my opinion!!!

So now I have no recourse to rectify the wrong armrest. Very disappointed in Haverty's -- supposed to be a quality company. They have given me NO customer service.

Most items are very reasonably priced and there are little treasures, especially jewelry, but also ceramics, art, and a bit of everything in a small back room, from furniture to chess pieces. Don't miss her unique collection of art painted (gouache) on papyrus. Mervat will even sign or paint your name in hieroglyphics, free or for a small fee! This is not a run of the mill antique but an experience in its own right. Check it out! I hope they make it, because mall rent is steep and I'm already a fan after one visit. The store REFUSED to have my lamps brought down from their warehouse before my wall decor arrived !!! I did not have my bedroom lamps from late October until just before Christmas! When I went to pick up my prepaid merchandise they tried to tell me I had ordered just one wall decor lizard but I ordered and paid for 2 . The other lizard we found ready to be hung on the wall with their merchandise sticker with the price! I had been dealing with this store since I moved to Melbourne Florida 9 years ago and have watch this store go downhill. NEVER WILL I ENTER AND PURCHASE FROM THEM AGAIN!!! Customer service agreed that my lamps should be delivered to their store but never followed through. Also complete lack of salespeople keeping in touch with their customers. All were great quality and in perfect condition 4 years later. The sofa was scotch guarded by Kanes, we did the outdoor cushions. Unlike some posters, I don't buy electric recliners - they all break eventually. I would definitely recommend Kanes.

Over the last 6 years I've spent over $8,000 on furniture from this story. Leather sofa, two…read morerecliners, lamps, queen beds with adjustable frame, pillows, night stands, and an office desk. NONE of this garbage lmade it to 5 years! I have no kids, no pets, and I live alone. The leather is Pleather, fake, and it peeled like sunburn on top of every cushion, I now cover it with a quilt. The recliners broke (electric) and also was a pleather product that failed in 3 years, those I actually sat on. The desk fell apart in 2 years, threw that in the garage as a work bench. The beds held up the longest, but I paid over $3,000 for it, you'd expect it to last. My cheap $500 BJ's mattress is just as comfortable and was a fraction of the price. DO NOT BUY THIS STORES JUNK. I still have the nightstands, they hold up a lamp and manage the task, but if I actually used the drawer on a regular daily basis, it too would fail. I thought Kanes was a step above Rooms to Go, which the salesman said was junk, but no, they're right on par with "college dorm" quality found at any chain. I tried Hagerty's across the street and bought a dining room set. It's heavily used, I sit in the kitchen the most, serve guests, and do my business on that table, so it's worn but it served its purpose. I'll go back to Hagerty, I'll never step foot in Kanes even if it was a $10 day any piece. Photo doesn't lie. AC home, how the hell does a synthetic product fail so fast? Same crap material as you'd find on an Amazon office chair, but those are $150, not $3,200!
