We stopped operating…read morethe business about two years ago, so we still have quite a few items on consignment at several stores in the Orlando and Cocoa Beach areas. Our experience with the other consignment stores has been great. I regularly receive checks and updated lists of items that have sold, and when a consignment agreement is about to expire, they usually contact me to ask whether I want to renew it. Unfortunately, my experience with Nighten Day Furniture has been completely different. When I first visit the store，she was very friendly and enthusiastic. The store also has big space，so I decided to consign more than 100 brand-new items with her, including nightstands, wall art, home décor, and lighting. From the beginning, I gave her permission to price the items very low if necessary, because I wanted them sold quickly. However, this is the only consignment store where I have never received a payment. When I contacted her again, she even didn't know who I was and didn't even have my phone number saved. I have repeatedly asked for a list of the items that have been sold. I never received a clear answer. Please be very careful when doing business with this store and read the consignment agreement carefully, especially the 95-day clause. Make sure you understand exactly what happens to your merchandise when the consignment period expires.

I just moved to Cocoa from Kissimmee and I am so happy to have found this retro store. A majority of this spacious spot is Mid century Modern furniture store but there is also a another section called The Astronauts Wife which is decked out with vintage/ retro clothes. I am a serial thrifter so I feel like I hit the gold mine when I found this store. Not only is the store full of retro treasures and very clean/ easy to shop... we had the honor of meeting one of the owners who was running the register and she was so friendly and welcoming. I can't wait to find more goodies here. They are also taking serious precautions with Covid. Mask are required which I appreciate.

It…read moreis a family-owned/run business, with Sam as the owner/project manager and his son and son-in-law doing much of the demo and finishing work along with his daughters in the showroom who helped us pick out our cabinets, countertops, sinks, fixtures and flooring. From the beginning, Sam and his entire staff were honest and helpful with getting us the design that we wanted. We knew what we wanted to do, but not how to configure anything, but Sam was able to envision everything during his appraisal of the job. We knew we wanted new cabinets and countertops in our kitchen and that we wanted to find a way to open the kitchen but just didn't know how. The design that Sam came up with was awesome and made our kitchen feel so much larger. We raised the old 1980s ceiling, which created way more cabinet space, but the design even came with moving appliances that had been in the same place since the house was built and tearing down some walls to make it more open to the dining room and living room. Then he suggested under cabinet lighting and more lighting all over the entire house. The bathroom was the other major renovation for us, and it looks spectacular with the new cabinet/countertop and shower that no longer has a 6-inch drop to get in. We added a shower bench which is awesome and the tile and fixtures are so pretty. Once again, Sam's staff helped us pick out all the cabinets, fixtures, countertops and flooring to go throughout the entire house. There were so many other things done like new baseboards and door trims, removal of popcorn ceiling and replacement of textured ceiling, new lights and ceiling fans, as well as new paint within the entire house. The entire renovation was done with quality workmanship and within the promised 6-week period. It was so nice to have a project manager overseeing all the trades people, such as carpenters, drywall installers, electricians, painters, tilers, glass installers, and plumbers, so that we didn't have to worry about scheduling anything separately. I highly recommend Superb Kitchens and Bath for all your renovation work!

I called Simply Blinds in Cape Canaveral JUNE 2021 and made an appt for someone to come help me pick out blinds. The owner came she was pleasant, friendly and had a good eye. She recommended items and beat the price her competitor. I paid, she left and several months went by till she called and sent someone out to install. He was a nice young name and did a good job. During the install on the last item he mentioned that it was a little short and should be redone, he'd have the owner reach out to me soon. ...........If I only knew then that the next 1 year and 5 months would be hell. Now FEBRUARY 2022, after 7 months of calling, emailing and texting I reached out to her Business Facebook page and there was a RECENT post stating she was no longer doing blinds just plantation shutters. Shocked, I added a note about how I have been trying to get in touch with her to fix something and actually hoped to purchase 3 more blinds- Well, she finally reached out and said she would help me. She came over measured everything and saw the existing cornice that was short and ordered a new one. Months went by without an update (deja vu) so I started to reach out about every 3 weeks - no replies. JULY (1yr has passed now) comes around and I get a quick text, "items arrived, could set up next week. Perfect finally!! Nope ..... installer drives from Orlando to install and says she ordered the wrong items. He will let her know and he'll be back when new parts arrive. I called and texted and got a quick reply "ordered new parts" Perfect finally!! Nope.... SEPT comes new parts arrive, installer drives over from Orlando and says "she ordered the same wrong items" what!!?!? The installer tells me her husband has been sick.....Ok that makes this mess make sense. But I can't help feel that at some point she could have returned a call, text, email even back in 2021..... anything. Certainly she must realize I paid her, now twice and it's been a year from the start. I reach out Oct and then Nov, no answer, so I decide I'm done. I call her and leave a message asking for my money back. Crickets - completely ghosted. I went to her FB page again and she has posted photos of jobs she recently did, so she's working. I decide I want to post a "Buyer Beware" message there describing my 1yr and 5mo ordeal. Guess what, she finally reaches out and says the items are in. I ask if I can go pick them up, she gives me the address and phone#. I go to pick up the items and share my story with the lady at the front desk and she apologizes how awful it must have been but they can't find the items. I go back the next day and her son comes to the door and reams me for being rude to his employee the day before what!?? Never once did I get an apology during the experience and then they top it off with ugly disrespect to a VERY patient customer.Please do your research before you hire them. Now we both know they have been there probably a month. Her installer calls me and we try to set up a date before Thanksgiving, what do you think happens, she now ghosted her installer. Now he's calling me asking if I heard from her. Cannot believe this ordeal.
