Before kids, I traveled extensively with our business, basically living out of a suitcase, with a very limited wardrobe, and had not updated it for a long time. After the birth of my son, I found myself with a stubborn 8 lbs that wouldn't go away, and an even more limited wardrobe because my previous clothes didn't fit, were worn out, were out of date, or were random pieces I has attempted to buy post-partum that didn't look good on me or match other clothes in my closet. Danean did a closet audit to help me figure out which clothes to keep and which to get rid of. She shopped my closet to put together outfits I could wear immediately, kept a list of things I needed, helped me figure out my style, and shopped for me. On her next visit, she brought me new outfits I loved that looked stylish and put-together, and suited my everyday kid-chasing lifestyle. She also ensured I had a few more elevated outfits put together for occasions ranging from Sunday brunch with the family, kid-free girl's lunch, or a dressy date night. Danean has been back several times since then and has been very flexible in working with me in some out of-the-box requests. Once I purchased a bunch of clothes I liked, and she helped me try them on, find matches in my closet and make a list of matches to buy, she shopped for the matches, and she handled all the returns including the items I purchased myself. When I had my 2nd child, Denean shopped for new maternity items and created an athleisure wardrobe so I would have comfy and stretchy but still put-together looks in the early days post-partum, when lots of people stop by to see the baby. I'm usually not a big fan of working with a "middle-man," and far as home repair/improvement vendors go. In fact, it's safe to say that most of my colleagues aren't fans of that type of practice as well, as it often leads to communication bottlenecks, billing issues, and loss of productivity. None of that sort of stuff has EVER been an issue working for Paula. She is one of the most responsive, punctual, humble, and kind coordinators/organizers I had ever worked with. Paula is one of those individuals that make you want to go the extra mile rather than the other way around, which unfortunately is often the case. Being in the home-improvement industry for a couple of decades, I can't state how important it is for a professional coordinator/organizer to have such qualities, as skilled contractors are hard to come by. Egos come in "big-gulp" sizes in our industry, and it doesn't take much to hurt a skilled contractor's feelings, only never to get a client's phone calls answered next time they need service, especially when demand for skilled labor is plentiful, and supply is low. Sad, but true for the Bay Area. Although I never hired Paula as an organizer, I would highly recommend her services to those in the market for one if setting/coordinating home improvement projects is a part of the job description.

We were too overwhelmed by the extraordinary mess to know where to begin cleaning, so it just got worse. For the contest's grand prize, Paula came to our house (at times that were convenient for us) and spent two 3-hour sessions working with my daughter. Together, they worked their way through my daughter's entire room - eventually donating 3 large bags of clothes and throwing away another three garbage bags of junk. Paula worked to understand my daughter's habits and lifestyle, then recommended ways to store her clothes and other items so that the most used items were most easily accessible, items that usually fell to the floor had a better home, and everything had a place.
