The saleswoman, who was extremely kind and professional, asked them politely to refrain from making videos in the store due to privacy concerns. However, the girls immediately began bullying the saleswoman, telling her that she was only a salesperson and that they could try on as many dresses as they wanted. They also made it clear that they had no intention of buying anything and continued to create noise and laugh at her. Eventually, they left the store. I was extremely disturbed by the way these girls treated the saleswoman. She was a classy woman who did not deserve to be bullied in this manner. To my surprise, I have noticed more than 10 or 15 reviews from that day from seemingly girls and a couple of guys. I did not see any other guys in the store that day, only these teenage TikTok girls. I hope that these girls are held accountable for their behavior and that Google & Yelp takes notice of this incident. It is unacceptable to treat anyone in such a disrespectful and rude manner.

Before kids, I traveled extensively with our business, basically living out of a suitcase, with a very limited wardrobe, and had not updated it for a long time. After the birth of my son, I found myself with a stubborn 8 lbs that wouldn't go away, and an even more limited wardrobe because my previous clothes didn't fit, were worn out, were out of date, or were random pieces I has attempted to buy post-partum that didn't look good on me or match other clothes in my closet. Danean did a closet audit to help me figure out which clothes to keep and which to get rid of. She shopped my closet to put together outfits I could wear immediately, kept a list of things I needed, helped me figure out my style, and shopped for me. On her next visit, she brought me new outfits I loved that looked stylish and put-together, and suited my everyday kid-chasing lifestyle. She also ensured I had a few more elevated outfits put together for occasions ranging from Sunday brunch with the family, kid-free girl's lunch, or a dressy date night. Danean has been back several times since then and has been very flexible in working with me in some out of-the-box requests. Once I purchased a bunch of clothes I liked, and she helped me try them on, find matches in my closet and make a list of matches to buy, she shopped for the matches, and she handled all the returns including the items I purchased myself. When I had my 2nd child, Denean shopped for new maternity items and created an athleisure wardrobe so I would have comfy and stretchy but still put-together looks in the early days post-partum, when lots of people stop by to see the baby. Our experience at Bride & Bustle in Los Gatos (owned & operated by Micaela Suhr) was by far the worst shopping experience in our entire lives. Screenshots of emails are included. I was helping my sister make appts for wedding dress shopping. I called Bride & Bustle on 4/1 & spoke with Micaela. Bride & Bustle didn't carry the specific dresses my sister wanted to try on. Micaela said she could order the dresses from the designer with 1-2 weeks' notice & a $75 shipping fee for each dress. I called again on 4/2 & asked her to order the try-on dresses for my sister & book an 1.5 hour appt ($75) on Fri 5/15. She said she would reach out to the designer & get back to me by the end of the next week (4/10). When I hadn't heard from Micaela I emailed her on 4/15. No response. I called & left messages on 4/22, 4/24, & 4/26 & emailed again on 4/28 & still no response. Finally on 4/29 I spoke with Micaela. She confirmed she could order the try-on dresses. She also assured me she had my sister booked for an appt on Fri 5/15 & sent the appt confirmation email for our appt on Fri 5/15. On 5/1 she sent another email confirming the appt on 5/15 However, when we arrived at Bride & Bustle on the day the store was locked, the lights were off, & the sign said "closed." I called & left multiple voicemails & sent an email. Later I got an email claiming "the computer put [our appt] down for next Friday." I'm unsure how "the computer" had our appt down for the following Fri when I received two confirmation emails & verbal confirmation from Micaela for Fri 5/15. Either Micaela is careless, lying, or both. My bet is both. She also mentioned she "was out of the store today on top of it because [her] sister in law just had a baby, so it was just a collision of bad timing for the error." I am very understanding of family emergencies. I find it hard to believe Micaela didn't think to reach out to her Bride & Bustle team or clients. It would have taken less than a minute to send an email or give us a call. Anyways, the frustration doesn't end here. After waiting until the evening of Tues 5/19 for the refund to go through, I emailed Micaela again to make sure she did initiate the refund for the two try-on dresses ($230 total). Based on her previous history of not returning calls & or emails, I wasn't taking any chances now that she owed me money. I emailed her again on 5/20 & 5/21. I also called several times. I would have left voicemails but the voicemail box was full. I even stopped by the store in person on 5/20 during their normal business hours but no one was there. After the past 2 months I can confidently say there is no easy way to get in touch with Micaela Suhr & the Bride & Bustle team. Email, phone, & in-person were all fruitless. Finally I received an email receipt for the refund timestamped for 5/23/2026 at 8:23 PM, plus an email from Micaela. In my opinion lying about sending a refund for a week was the cherry-on-top of this horrible situation. From start to finish, Michela Suhr was incompetent, unreliable, dishonest, & unprofessional. Whether it was the consistent typos sprinkled throughout her business emails to flat out lying about scheduling & refunds, she never ceased to amaze me with her lack of professionalism. I am still in shock that someone who sells something as important, emotional, & expensive as designer wedding dresses has the audacity to behave like this. Perhaps Micaela Suhr should go into a less demanding sales market, like paper towels. This way she could help clean up messes instead of making them.
