    Mystic stuffed French toast
    Krysten B.

Stopped here on a whim as we were traveling north to Georgia. Read the reviews and decided it was worth a try. Food, service, and atmosphere was 5 stars We ordered two of mystic stuffed French toast and it was delicious. Our 14 year old son devoured it without a problem. My husband mentioned it would have been nice if the cream cheese filling and vanilla rum sauce were served warm. Both he thought were slightly colder than room temperature. Although, he did say that it was possibly only the cream cheese filling that was cold-ish. The bread used is nice and thick as it should be with French toast. The edges on part of the toast were harder than rest and not as enjoyable. All in all, the French toast was a bit. The el matador omelet was good and not too spicy for this heat lightweight. It had an enjoyable spice level in the spicy chorizo sausage. The smoked Gouda grits were a nice addition with a strong cheese flavor and lots of butter. The star of this dish was actually the biscuit. Although the biscuit looked hard on the top, the knife sliced right through the biscuit with barely any effort. It was flaky and delicious. Our 16 year old son got the Elvis pancakes. The bananas were baked right into the pancakes. There were also Reese's peanut butter chips, but I think there could have been more. While my son did enjoy the pancakes, he said he would have liked to get the mystic French toast instead after trying a bite of his brothers. On top of good food, the service was fantastic. From the server, to the hostess, to the manager (or owner, not sure) everyone was wonderful.

First time finally trying out this place for a late breakfast and was not disappointed. Pros: 1) Service was friendly and efficient. 2) Pricing was less than I expected compared to other breakfast places in the area 3) Food was yummy 4) Loved the decaf coffee 5) They have Gluten Free bread so you can do that for toast at breakfast as well as for the bread on their sandwich options - and it's GOOD gluten free bread, not dry and tasteless 6) When you order coffee - you get a whole carafe Cons 1) Not a fan of the coffee mate creamers on the table (corn syrup junk), but they bring out a little pitcher of half and half with the coffee, so that was good. 2) Being nit-picky here, but they don't have Stevia. The sweetener options are the Pink (Sweet and Low), Blue (Equal), Yellow (Splenda), white sugar packets and the brown raw sugar packets. They have several side options with breakfast too, which was nice. It's not just home fries (which were yummy and crispy), they also have cheesy grits and fruit. We'll definitely be back to try other options. This place may well unseat my go to breakfast place and I'm thrilled they have the GF bread (not many places do).

Coffee was cold and so was the food. Family wanted to go there, but I don't think I'll be going back.

It says dogs are allowed but they do not allow dogs on their patio whatsoever. We were turned away with our 5 lb poodle.

Always good food and great service! A bit noisy but it's a busy restaurant so that's expected.

The menu has good options for a diverse breakfast. The service was prompt and professional. The food was delivered to the table and was on point! I had an omelette and the rest of the party had - actually I don't recall what they had - I was so involved with my omelette! The atmosphere is very casual and if you want an adult beverage with your meal they have an array of options. Recommend this place highly. The hollandaise on the eggs Benedict was practically invisible. I asked if they forgot to include it, was told it's just thinner this morning - I don't think there was any on eggs at all. Then I took a bite of the hash brown casserole - not room temp - but cold - like straight from the frig cold. I mentioned to server, and she returned like 30 seconds later with a steaming plate, obviously nuked. (Probably left over from yesterday). It had a weird taste and texture and taste. Well, that coffee was great! I'm a regular here, and this visit was just way off in terms of food quality.

I recently purchased an assortment of cakes, pastries, and quiches to take to a friend's house for brunch, and every item was delicious. The pastries were light, flaky, and beautifully made. The quiches were moist and creamy with a wonderful buttery crust that practically melted in your mouth. The cakes were not only elegant and looking fancy, but also incredibly flavorful. In fact, when you take that first bite, you can close your eyes and find yourself saying, "Wow... yummy!" They were that good. The bakery itself is sparsely decorated and simple, allowing the baked goods to be the main attraction. If you're stopping by for a treat, you can purchase a coffee and pastry and enjoy it at one of the indoor tables or outside seating areas. At around $8 per item, the pastries and desserts are a bit pricey, but the quality, freshness, and taste make them worth the splurge. Pricey? Yes. Delicious? Absolutely. If you're looking for authentic French-inspired pastries, cakes, and quiches, Renee's French Bakery is definitely worth a visit.

Unfortunately, the coffee was bitter and unpleasant, and the scone was incredibly dry and almost completely flavorless. That alone was disappointing. The bigger issue was the customer service. When I walked back into the building, it was 11:29 all I wanted was to order one of the pre-made breakfast bagels, it had just turned 11:30. Even though the bagel was already made and sitting there, I was told they wouldn't serve me because breakfast had ended. There was absolutely no flexibility, despite the fact that I had been at the counter just moments before. As I was leaving, frustrated, I said, "Thanks for nothing." Another employee asked what was wrong, so I explained the situation. She then said she could give me the bagel after all, but immediately followed it by saying there was "no need for the comment." By that point, the damage had already been done. Instead of acknowledging why I was upset or apologizing for the situation, I was made to feel like I was the problem. Between the poor-quality coffee, the dry and flavorless scone, and the rigid, unfriendly customer service, this was one of the worst coffee shop experiences I've had. There are plenty of places that value both good food and good customer service. I would recommend spending your money elsewhere
