We stopped here after a Sunday morning golf round and showed up about 11 am. There was a small wait but we got seated in less than 5 minutes. Our waitress approached and took our beverage order of water all around and one coffee. But the coffee did not show up until half way through the meal. Every one ordered something different and we waits while because the restaurant filled with patrons. My eggs over medium came out over way too easy. My wife's backed was limp. Not crispy as she asked for the lemon pancake was phenomenal according to our friend. Served a bit spotty with us ask for water refills a couple of times. Had multiple breakfasts here during our stay. Everything was good but not great. Many of the flavors are just a bit off. For example, the lemon blueberry pancakes were highly recommended by a friend. But as a baker I could taste the lemon extract in the lemon "curd" drizzle which was not lemon curd at all and somehow there was a bitter aftertaste. Maybe they are truly using real lemon zest in it as well, but getting too much rind? The pancakes themselves were very good. The Hollandaise sauce for the eggs Benedict was okay not great. Something was a bit off there as well, too sweet not savory enough. Service was excellent though and the prizes were reasonable, especially the eggs Benedict, as they were a $5.95 special this week. Stopped here on a whim as we were traveling north to Georgia. Read the reviews and decided it was worth a try. Food, service, and atmosphere was 5 stars We ordered two of mystic stuffed French toast and it was delicious. Our 14 year old son devoured it without a problem. My husband mentioned it would have been nice if the cream cheese filling and vanilla rum sauce were served warm. Both he thought were slightly colder than room temperature. Although, he did say that it was possibly only the cream cheese filling that was cold-ish. The bread used is nice and thick as it should be with French toast. The edges on part of the toast were harder than rest and not as enjoyable. All in all, the French toast was a bit. The el matador omelet was good and not too spicy for this heat lightweight. It had an enjoyable spice level in the spicy chorizo sausage. The smoked Gouda grits were a nice addition with a strong cheese flavor and lots of butter. The star of this dish was actually the biscuit. Although the biscuit looked hard on the top, the knife sliced right through the biscuit with barely any effort. It was flaky and delicious. Our 16 year old son got the Elvis pancakes. The bananas were baked right into the pancakes. There were also Reese's peanut butter chips, but I think there could have been more. While my son did enjoy the pancakes, he said he would have liked to get the mystic French toast instead after trying a bite of his brothers. On top of good food, the service was fantastic. From the server, to the hostess, to the manager (or owner, not sure) everyone was wonderful. read more

After driving past this place a handful of times and seeing it very crowded, I decided to give it a try. This place serves incredible breakfast. I had the corned beef hash. Phenomenal. I can tell they put time and effort into their hash. I also tried the stuffed French toast. That was a real treat. Friendly staff too. I highly recommend this place. read more

First time finally trying out this place for a late breakfast and was not disappointed. Pros: 1) Service was friendly and efficient. 2) Pricing was less than I expected compared to other breakfast places in the area 3) Food was yummy 4) Loved the decaf coffee 5) They have Gluten Free bread so you can do that for toast at breakfast as well as for the bread on their sandwich options - and it's GOOD gluten free bread, not dry and tasteless 6) When you order coffee - you get a whole carafe Cons 1) Not a fan of the coffee mate creamers on the table (corn syrup junk), but they bring out a little pitcher of half and half with the coffee, so that was good. 2) Being nit-picky here, but they don't have Stevia. The sweetener options are the Pink (Sweet and Low), Blue (Equal), Yellow (Splenda), white sugar packets and the brown raw sugar packets. They have several side options with breakfast too, which was nice. It's not just home fries (which were yummy and crispy), they also have cheesy grits and fruit. We'll definitely be back to try other options. This place may well unseat my go to breakfast place and I'm thrilled they have the GF bread (not many places do). read more

We love this restaurant for a great breakfast. Did I have the stuffed French toast? No. I do weight watchers and the ww cops would haul me off. Truth be told this is a 4.5 star review (thanks Yelp). We ate breakfast at Reveille twice in the past week. We enjoyed the atmosphere, excellent service and very good food on both occasions. We liked the variety of items offered on the breakfast menu. There is definitely a little something to suit most anyone's taste. The prices seemed to be middle of the road. I had the Matador omelette on one occasion. It could have used a little more filling but the chorizo had good spice and the red peppers were correctly cooked. I also tried the corn beef hash. It had great flavor and is made from scratch. I've only had grits a handful of times but enjoyed their smoked Gouda grits on both visits. My dining partner had their stuffed French toast and their blueberry lemon pancakes. She enjoyed both; although she said the blueberry lemon pancakes were very sweet. A carafe of hot coffee was brought to the table both times we ordered breakfast. Everyone from the hostess to manager were friendly and helpful. I came there with my friend last Monday, (who happens to own a landmark diner in Upstate, N.Y. )and my service dog , who is a puppy in training and your very rude manager requested to read my personal letter from my psychiatrist stating that the dog is my emotional support dog and what medications I'm was taking . My dog barked because I walked away, only once. The rude manager said , service dogs don't bark. I said puppies in training do. That is against the law. I will never eat there again. I think the food is delicious but to be treated that way was unacceptable. The fact that it's a restaurant in the villages where we all love dogs , this was a disgrace. I bet once dog owners in The Villages read this , they'll stop coming too. read more
