I've been to this place once or twice when it was named something else once or twice.... and I've seen it named many other things. We had Revelry Tavern tonight for dinner. It was a pretty solid menu. I ordered the roasted brussel sprout salad and the Mr ordered a burger with an egg added. I enjoyed my salad. It was on the favorite menu, so I figured it had to be good. My husband was very surprised they honored his request to add the egg, most restaurants don't he's seen. Been here a few times but over the weekend was an experience worthy of a review. We came here with a very large group for brunch/lunch. While there wasn't a brunch menu, we made due with the apps and drinks. The service was great. Our server was attentive with waters and getting all the drinks we needed and we were frequently ordering! We had a great time and we're pumped they could accommodate such a large group. This was my first time in this venue, recently remodeled and very spacious with a nice menu. Perfect for large group gatherings or enjoying a drink with a friend or two. Seating options - patio, bar, booth, high top tables, large tables - literally options for any gathering. Location: Good; just outside the Bridge district near AMC theatre Parking: Good (plenty available; just have to compete with AMC) Menu: Great; wide selection and priced moderately Drink menu: Good; most items priced at $5 or $10 price point; a bit on the higher end for options. Decor: Good. Clean, well appointed and comfortable. Large. The acoustics with all the hard lines makes me think this would be really loud if busy - which may be your thing. I'm old. I kind of like cozy and quiet. However, I had little problem hearing conversation. The cocktail and drink menu has a nice variety and the bartender was efficient and friendly. The service was good - and the kitchen worked fast. There are a fair amount of appetizers, burgers, sandwiches, and entrees to have a snack or a meal. Friends and I shared the "5 for $15" tacos and a cheese quesadilla ($7). Both were really good. Tacos - 4 varieties: crispy shrimp (my favorite), short rib, chicken, or carnitas. "Street size" corn tortilla with the seasoned protein, crema and jicama slaw. The crispy shrimp were perfectly fried and made a great fish taco. The beef short rib was tender and flavorful. The carnitas were my friend's favorite - which worked out perfectly because that meant I didn't have to share the shrimp taco. The tacos are the perfect size (4 or 5 bites) and 2 tacos were good for light meal, especially paired with a quesadilla wedge. You can also select tacos as "3 for $10" but I wish they sold them individually... 2 are perfect for me but it would be nice to have 1 of each (4) as an option. I really want to try their tavern fries - essentially french fries with cheese and bacon and a few other frills. Next time... My entire visit was a little over an hour - enough time to have one cocktail and enjoy two orders of food (tacos were ordered and eaten first; quesadilla was ordered to finish our meal). This would be a good spot to watch a sporting event - there are a lot of televisions ... but it was easy to ignore as well. Nice Dublin option, especially if indulging in a movie at the neighboring AMC movie theatre. read more

Revelry has two important things to know. Food is good. Service sucks. It's like they don't even try to do their job. They just need to get good staff and they would get five stars. It looks much nicer than a typical strip mall sports bar. Of course it's in Dublin. The inside is very spacious. It has a pretty large bar. There's usually plenty of seats. It never got too crowded. This place is much busier when there's an OSU game on. It has a pretty large beer and cocktail menu. They have some good happy hour specials. I had the Revelry Red Ale. It's only $3 at happy hour. This is pretty good and smooth. I had the Power Bowl. It's $9 for a big size bowl. This comes with couscous, farro, and vegetables. It tastes good. There are some hard things in it you need to be careful for so you won't break teeth. It was pretty good up until after finishing and waiting for the check. That seemed to be when I turned invisible. It took longer to get the check than to get the food. The bartender looked right at me several times while flitting around talking to her friends and basically not seeming to want her money. I gave her a tip she deserved, which was nothing of course. This seems to be a problem for other reviewers. It has some good things about it. The beer and the food. Tortilla soup had a very odd grainy texture that made it unpleasant to eat. The burger was beautiful to look at but the taste was not so pleasant. Food tasted like it was old or past its prime. Forced friendly / fake friendly staff were hard to find and there were only 12 people there. I've attempted to come here three times and every time I visit, they have half of the tables in the restaurant empty with little "reserved" placards on them. Yummmm!! I have passed this place hundreds of times and finally decided to stop in before a movie at the theater next door. So glad we gave this place a shot because the food was amazing! They have a good selection of beers here and I tried the monthly sour which was pretty good. We had the everything pretzel sticks with queso for an appetizer and they were outstanding. Super soft pretzel inside but crispy on the outside. Very cheesy queso and the everything spice added a nice unique flavor. The other 2 people I was with had the Revelry Burger with sweet potato fries and had no complaints on the flavors of anything. Only complaint they had was that they got significantly less sweet potato fries than I got normal fries, and the sweet potato are an upcharge. I had the short rib grilled cheese with the regular fries and...wow. Bursting with delicious savory flavor. The cheese was the perfect choice to balance the tender meat and the caramelized onions. The fries were outstanding, I love the seasoning they put on them. Overall we had a great experience here and great service. Our server and the manager (I'm assuming) were always checking on us and clearing the table of used plates and glasses. My one grievance is that most tables are high tops with just a handful of booths. There aren't many things I hate more than a high top and it's evident people don't like them as there was 1 party at a high top and every single booth was full. We waited a few minutes to get a booth and it was worth it. We will definitely be back! read more

Revelry gets a solid A-OK from me. We stopped in for dinner, having used Yelp to wade through the chain restaurants in the 161/Sawmill area. It's a nice, big sports bar next to Dublin AMC theatre, which makes it convenient for pre- or post-movie dining. For a Browns-game Sunday, the place wasn't super-crowded, but it was noisy - sports bars are meant to be noisy, not a big deal. Sports-bar decor = beer signs and TVs. Lots of booth seating around the perimeter - nice option. Food is your typical bar food, but with a couple of twists. I had the power bowl - spring mix base with farro, fried chickpeas, pickled onions, feta, and avacado. Good mix of flavors and textures, and the picked onions added some tang. Tried the Thai lettuce wraps, and would have been better with a Thai spice mix on the chicken rather than in the sauce (but I get it - in Dublin, you don't want to scare people off with spice). The spouse had a turkey sandwich and fries - both hit the spot. Easy stop for a movie-goer or a sports fan, easy meal for the kids, and a quick in-and-out for dinner. Solid. read more

Located in a strip mall near AMC theatre. Usually there's plenty of parking available. My boyfriend and I had some time to kill before a movie and stopped in to grab something to eat. It's newly renovated, fresh and clean. Many seating options: bar high table, booth, etc. the menu had typical bar food options, but also several healthy options like Brussel sprouts, power bowl, lettuce wraps and hummus plate. I don't know how it usually is, but when we went in it was "seat yourself ". We got a table in the middle close to the bar so we would be seen. We were seen and a man came right up to us and asked us what we wanted to drink. We ordered water and he got that for us and gave us a menu. He said he would come back to get an order. He never came back, but a woman then stopped over and asked us if we knew about the special which was a Philly cheesesteak. She gave us a menu of the specials and asked what we wanted to drink. We said that just water would be fine. She said she would stop back to get our oder. Neither she nor the man from earlier stopped back. We watched as they served all the customers getting alcohol, but lost interest in us when they found out we wanted food and not alcohol. After a half hour of being there, we left. Wish I could tell you if the food was good. If you just want food and not alcohol, I wouldn't necessarily choose this place. This place is so great!! It's a sports bar but it's very modern & large with tons of TVs! Their customer service is on point! Several examples: noticing that the sun was in our eyes and closing the blinds very quickly, food recommendations, drink refills, and checking on us. They weren't that busy because we were in at the end of an OSU game, but three or four different servers checked on us. Also, the food. OMG the food. Everything we had was delicious. Other reviews have already said this, but it is not normal "bar" food. They have a great menu with unique selections that all came out tasting amazing. We had the pretzels for an appetizer and I had the shrimp tacos (3). My husband had the chicken quesadilla and loved it. He was also excited to see that The Scientest and White Raja were on tap! The food is decent. The bar staff sucks. The bartenders are more interested in the other bartenders who just got off of work. They pay attention to the friends who come in and don't realize the established professionals that come in here would tip more if they were attentive. Plus, the music sucks!!!
