We had a blowout about 25 miles outside of Vegas. We decided to drive to Beatty to try and find a tire. We stopped at Reverts. He didn't have the exact tire we needed but said we could look around at the used tires, while he was working on another truck. My husband was able to find a tire that was pretty close. I believe his name was James, he mounted and balanced the tire. He was very friendly and very helpful. He apologized for us having to wait in the heat. Which he had no reason to apologize as he was doing us a huge favor. He even gave us otter pops and water. We were at his mercy and yet he didn't take advantage of us and charged us very fairly! Came into Beatty NV with a check engine light due to going through Death Valley. I pulled up to this shop and I was welcomed and asked what I could be helped with I told the owner my check engine light is on and I was highly concerned and since I'm not a local I had no idea where to go. Well he pulled out a scan tool and ran a scan reset the code and it never came back. I arrived in Beatty on Saturday in the late afternoon on a three day Holiday Weekend with my Tundra in "Limp Mode". I was referred to James by a shop in Death Valley. I called Reverts phone and James answered. I explained my problem and James said to meet him at his shop. James cleared the code that was keeping it in "Limp Mode" and I was good to go. He will meet you anytime even if the shop is closed and will charge a reopening fee of $65 and you will be repaired and on your marry way! We got a punctured tire on "Racetrack" in Death Valley like so many others and were nervous as we called the Yelp number when we did have service no one answered. So we drove to the shop and there posted on the wall was two alternative numbers to call and he answered right away and him and his lovely wife showed up in ~10 minutes and we were all fixed and on our way in under 30 minutes. Great service. Very reasonable price. Lucky for us this shop is close to Death Valley. We had a small nail puncture one of the front tires on our Tesla Model 3 while in Death Valley. Tesla's don't have spares. Tesla has road side assistance that will usually show up with a loaner spare that they put on while they take your tire to get repaired. Then you pick it up later and return the spare. That's great around town... I've used that service twice and it's great. However, getting a loaner wheel to Death Valley (not to mention switching them back) is not a great option. So... we ended up at Revert 24 Hr Tire. It was after hours but he met me at his shop withIn 5 minutes. Popped the tire off and plugged it in another 10 minutes. Super low profile tires on 20 inch rims would not have been easy to patch so we'll do that back home but the plug worked perfectly to get us back thru the 115 degree heat in Death Valley and all the way home. I had rented a 4 wheel drive in Las Vegas for a Death Valley tour. Our first off-road trip was to be down Titus Canyon, but at the top of the canyon road we discovered a flat. We put on the spare and went down the canyon -- it's one way, and wonderful! Then we went to Beatty for the most likely fix east of Death Valley. My guess is that the tire had been hurt on a previous outing. The Reverts guy was great. He patched it but advised the rental get a new tire. Meanwhile my pal shared our six pack with the station crew, it was closing time. Then steaks at the casino. Flats are no fun in Death Valley. read more

Went to visit Death Valley coming from Huntington Beach, Ca. Unfortunately ended up getting a flat from some of the dirt roads while visiting Trona Pinnacles. As you know, there aren't many tire repair shops near Death Valley, closest one being in Beatty, NV. Reverts Tire repair was amazing. Everyone was super friendly. Honest and great cheap prices. Ok, winter in Death Valley is probably one of the more beautiful places on earth, but flat tires still suck, and when the wind kicks up and temps drop into the 20's it sucks even more. So when I was making my way out of the park with my wife and two kids, one of which is 5 months old and I got a flat on a dirt road detour to a ghost town I was a little concerned and wasn't looking forward to the rest of the day. James changed all that, he was with a customer when we arrived, quickly finished up with him and took to looking at my leak, he told me he could patch it no problem and went about doing it. No complaints out of him, it was 25 degrees and he had to use a shovel to break the water trough ice to check my tire for the leak. He was very pleasant to talk to, asked if we'd be warmer and more comfortable in his office while he worked and was done in about 15-20 minutes. When he finished, $20!!!!! Are you kidding me, I gave him $40 cause I didn't know how to express my gratitude any other way, after forcing the extra cash on him, he had no interest in taking it we were on our way. BTW there are wild donkeys all over town, so if you have a few minutes to kill it's kinda neat to see, probably annoying if you live there, but a hoot if your passing through. Btw again, just for reference, the last time I got a flat in Death Valley (3 years ago) we limped to Big Pine where my tire was beyond repair (insert eye roll) and it cost me $400 for a new one, I kept it and when I got back to LA I got it patched....so imagine my total shock and sheer pleasurable experience with James. read more

I opted to wait in Beatty till morning rather than attempt to get to Vegas for new tires. The shop opened right at 8:00 AM as advertised and they had two top end tires to fit my rig. He quickly had tires mounted, balanced and installed at a better price than big name tire shops in Vegas!! Went here last night when driving through from Vegas to Reno when we got a flat. Everyone who works in Beatty knew him and his cell/home numbers (which all are also posted on the front door of his shop). It was around 10 pm and he answered his cell immediately. It was $65 "open the shop" which also included the repair of the flat, and that was because it was not business hours. Otherwise it would've been $20. (I see it as a $45 convenience fee- which we were very open to pay). James was nice and no additional costs or bs to deal with. He opened up shop within 5 mins, found where we were losing air, fixed it, charged the $65, and we were on our way. read more

My husband and I had a radiator hose spring a massive leak in Death Valley. We limped into Beatty with the help of duct tape. We stopped at Revert's to see if they had any spare hoses that would work. They didn't, but the super friendly guy working there helped us out by trimming the hose at the leak and then reattaching the now slightly shorter hose. Great idea that saved our trip! He even topped off our coolant and rinsed off the stuff that had sprayed all over the engine. read more
