Super disappointed. Called ahead to see if they had what I was looking for and then drove from Las Vegas to get it and the guy behind the counter says, oh no you can't buy that, its display only... I said but i called and asked and was told you had it, well yeah, we have it but you can't buy it... wtf? I am done. I can go to St George for candy or Barstow. read more

I have to admit: I'm a HUGE Buc-ee's guy and when I heard that in my road trip, there was "California's Largest Gas Station" -- I was intrigued and knew I had to stop in (so you don't have to). When you start seeing Eddie World from a distance, everyone begins to notice the same thing: the giant ice cream sundae. Cute. Next: going into Eddie's World, you need to knock in your head: this is not Buc-ee's: Eddie World is IT'S OWN THING. They sell an abundance of candies, snacks, jerkies, etc. with the Eddie World logo. Around the pit-stop are various counters selling different things: jerked, candy, coffee (Peet'z Coffee, in particular), pizza, etc. No merch, no mascot. Different but unique in its own right. Restrooms? Honestly? 8.5/10! It was very clean for being the west coast, and although it wasn't the Beaver's, it was clean enough for me to admit it. Overall, I'm glad I visited Eddie World even if it was born out of pure curiosity. If anything, you get to visit a new place, get a good walk, and stretch your legs. read more

Everyone on the team is nice enough but there's a general stickiness that I can't get over...

always stop at EddieWorld for the restroom and a drink. Years ago, I bought some of their chocolate, and it tasted stale. I brushed it off as a one-time issue. But on my visit today, I looked more closely at the candy and found multiple bags that had been relabeled. When I peeled back the top label, I found an older made-date label underneath with a newer made-date label placed over it. That confirmed my concerns about the freshness of their candy. Relabeling a product with a different made date is deceptive marketing and misleading to customers. With the enormous amount of candy EddieWorld carries, I don't believe it's possible for all of it to stay fresh. Charging almost $20 for a bag of candy while relabeling it destroyed my trust in their products. I won't be buying candy from EddieWorld again, and I suggest you don't either. read more

Perfect pit stop 2 hours from Vegas with clean restrooms, reasonably priced gasoline and diesel, snacks, coffee, cold drinks, burritos and a large selection of stuffed animals. There are rows of stuffed animals arranged by species: giraffes, zebras, goats, donkeys, snakes, birds, cats, dogs, dinosaurs and more. This place is seriously awesome! First of all, you've gotta love the giant ice cream scoop outside, it's an amazing centerpiece for the store. The store itself is HUGE, they have almost every single type and piece of candy to ever exist! Apart from candy, they have many children's toys, plushies, travel equipment etc. Also, they have some of the nicest bathrooms I've ever seen. Marble walls and counters and sleek wood linings. Full wooden doors on stalls so no one can peek inside, and advertising screens above the sinks and urinals and toilets! 9/10. Would definitely recommend to anybody in the area of on a trip near it. It's perfect if you want a short family outing day, you can go there, look at all the cool stuff and have a car picnic nearby. read more

My husband and I stayed at the Stagecoach motel every year we made a trip down Hwy 95 BECAUSE not only is the hotel great and reasonably priced but we could come HERE and eat HOMEMADE DELICIOUS CREAMY ICE CREAM for dinner AND breakfast the next morning. $4.50 for the first scoop and $1 extra for additional scoops. I recommend you get the larger container because it's a real bargain for 4 scoops compared to one. (:-) It is STILL as delicious as ever and I'm taking this trip down memory lane (Hwy 95) without him for the first time because he passed away last year. Eddie World gas station looks like an oasis with its palm trees and a large number of well-spaced tanks to fuel up. Their convenience store had almost anything you could need during a pitstop. There were businesses like Subway, a jerky shop, an ice cream/Gelato shop, pizza, bbq, burgers, candy, toys, etc. It was great being able to grab some snacks and stretch our legs after getting gas for our trip. read more

This must be everyone's first stop in Beatty, Nevada and it's certainly always ours. This is a great place to get off the lonely highway and make some new friends - my wife didn't waste any time getting to know the local burros that surely seem to outnumber the human population in this wonderful neck of the woods. Ok back to the gas station review: the gas is good and cheap, the staff are friendly and the food and gift options are abundant needed! Candy, Ice-Cream, Gas... and hee-haws?? [Beatty NV] When we pulled in the gas station we were surprised to see three donkeys blocking Pump #1... whuttttt? Then it somehow found us staring at them and started to come up to our car... all three of them. Originally, the ice cream sign caught my eye but these donkeys were something else... Inside is not just a convenience store but a gift shop offering desserts to satisfy anyone's sweet tooth... it is a specialty shop where you can order breakfast sandwiches and other made-to-go items and get your hands on jerky, nuts, snacks like popcorn, dried fruits, wasabi peas, and more salty treats, and of course, ice cream and just about any type of candy you can dream up. We shared a banana split and for $7 it was a deal... it was good. Oh, they also sell stuffed donkey toys and other souvenir merch. I asked the young man at the cashier about the donkeys outside at the gas pumps... he said at one point there were like 30 of them roaming around the area. This is definitely a one-stop shop for gas, candy, ice cream... and donkeys, if you're lucky to find them there while passing through Beatty in Nevada. They have a nice selection snacks. They also have a subway inside and is a good option for quick eats since there is not a lot of restaurants around. They also have and extensive selection of jerky and ice cream that comes in handy on a very hot day. The cost is reasonable and they are also attached to a gas station which is also the only game in town. The staff that work there are also very friendly and nice to talk to. They get a lot of people that pass through there since it's one of the last stops going into Death Valley from the Las Vegas side. read more

Beware of this location when you do your pump for gasoline they authorized automatically $300 it was $65 that I loaded up they said it will bring it back within 10 business days so hopefully this brach has to notify customers about it or post something about that pump geez ! Loved the ice cream when we stopped at this location to put gas in the car! We were very disappointed when we got home and our credit card company sent us an email alert showing this gas station put a pre-authorization of $300.00 for a $66.00 purchase of gasoline. I realize this is a pre-authorization not a current charge, but this seems very unrealistic. Most gas stations pre-authorize $1.00; that has been my experience anyway. I've never had a gas station pre-authorize such a large amount on any credit card! read more

Used to drive from Vegas to Reno once a month for many years. This was one of our must stops. Well, it's been a few years since I had to do this drive so I was excited to order a bunch of candy and a bunch of nuts. The quality of food here is amazing even though we are in the middle of nowhere. The prices are just a tad high. But I understand that because again they're in the middle of nowhere. There are restrooms here and a sandwich shop if you're just trying to grab some food and go.but the road trip snacks is why we stopped. This is the perfect pit stop between Reno and Las Vegas. Gas NOT overpriced for the locale. Clean, safe restrooms. A good Subway sandwich shop inside, as well as ice cream, coffee and beef jerky. EddieWorld, or what I like to call...child paradise - an overload of CUTE! I would be hard pressed to bring my grandson and NOT get hounded to buy an abundance of TY toys & candy. I myself witnessed one child's mental breakdown over a bag of cotton candy. Thankfully, sans kids, my husband and I were able to shop at our leisure. It's one of those places you need to check out while you are on the road. Because they are unique and fun! EddieWorld is a one stop shop on US 95. Fuel, (both diesel & gas,) snacks, nuts, sandwich shops, souvenirs & CANDY galore. You may go on a sugar rush just looking at the shelves of candy! With the virus still on everyone's mind, I was happy to see the employees wearing masks & keeping the place super clean. When we arrived the fuel pumps were full but the store wasn't crowded at all. I do believe most folks were fueling up & heading out. The few folks that were inside did keep their distance from each other. We grabbed a couple of sandwiches, chips & a soda from Subway before we left. The dining area was closed due to the virus. But we planned on eating on the road anyway. The sandwiches were very good. Soft, fresh bread, sandwiches made quickly by a very nice lady. I recommend stopping in here for whatever you may need when you're on US 95. read more

It's a very safe area as well and the gas area is well lit... Probably the best candy store in NV and for some reason, it's way out in the hinterlands. Do you love classic, old-timey candy? EddieWorld has it? Stuff dipped in chocolate? Dark Chocolate? Sour candy? Gummy stuff? Dried fruit? nuts? This place is awesome and the employees are super friendly and helpful. Crazier than the fact that this is out in the middle of nowhere is the fact that they have another location in CA that's twice as large and has a lot more stuff. The one thing I can't find here that they have in CA that I love is the dark chocolate covered gummy bears, which are highly addictive. If you're out roaming around Death Valley, this place is a "must visit"! read more
