He is sensitive enough to feel where things need to be unwound. He is tremendously professional. Even for women who might not be comfortable having a male massage therapist, I can say that he is absolutely respectful and appropriate. I was traveling with a 93 year old woman, and we had the afternoon free in Denver, so I contacted him. he brought his table, and his fabulous Young Living essential oils, and gave both of us a 90-minute massage. His price was very reasonable for the high quality of the massage. The grandmother prefers a gentle touch, being very sensitive, and he put her "in heaven." As a massage therapist myself, I prefer getting deep work done, and Orlando was able to really be efficient at taking out the exhaustion of travel. We were staying at an airport (Homewood Suites, btw, which was wonderful) and he was able to come to our room and take care of both of us. He accepts a credit card, which is so convenient.

The morale of this facility is extremely low. The director of nursing is very unpredictable and does not step in to help out in patient care. The low morale of the staff trickles down to patient care, which should be the primary concern of that facility. If you are considering this facility for your loved one, please please ..... look at all the different aspects of this residence very carefully.

This review is of a single so-called "doctor" affiliated with this Hospital, although my review of…read morethe Hospital overall wouldn't be much better. I'll detail that train-wreck in a separate review. I will also not dignify this hack with the respected title of "Dr." I fell on black ice and shattered my ankle in Mar. 2022. I was told (after the fact) by several different medical professionals that if they had seen my x-rays, they would have immediately sent me to a big city hospital (Front Range, Colo.) - the multiple fractures and mangled joint made this too complicated for any small-town doctors to tackle... at least for those who would acknowledge their own limitations. But Jeff Oster, a Podiatrist (with no documented Orthopedic or Surgical training; the type of doctor who typically treats bunions and ingrown toenails) arrogantly announced that he could fix the complicated, screwed-up joint. Not only did he repeatedly -- condescendingly and misogynistically -- dismiss my pain, he even went so far as to prescribe dangerous, long-term anti-depressants and mental/behavioral-therapy *less than a week after surgery, while denying me the anti-nausea meds that made the prescription painkillers doable.* Lastly, the procedure itself was an utter, abject failure. He failed to lengthen the shortened/shattered tibia to complete the joint; the dozen screws and two plates he inserted did nothing to close the sizeable gap between the bones; the tight-rope he claimed would hold the joint together was in the wrong place, stretched across soft tissue, not anchored to the bones; and one of the screws was already starting to fall out before I'd even begun weight-bearing. I was immobilized in a hard cast for 8 weeks (a damaging and "archaic, antiquated" practice, according to a later surgeon). Orthopedic Evidence-Based Best Practices (for the last 20-30 years) say that you can cast long-bone fractures, but joints need to regain their mobility as soon as possible... and I'm living proof as to why. A second opinion from a highly competent Olympic-athlete-grade surgeon led to an urgent corrective/reconstructive surgery, but that only took care of the original damage from the fall. The Good Surgeon removed all of Oster's low-grade hardware, and replaced it with far less: only one plate and three screws, plus he lengthened the stunted tibia to complete the joint. But that wasn't the end of my year-long journey through hell. Yet another (3rd) surgery had to be done several months later to lengthen the Achilles tendon, which had contracted horribly during Oster's prolonged immobilization; the scar-tissue buildup from 9 months of no significant movement also had to be removed (release of the joint capsule). It's taken a full year for me to begin walking again without assistive devices. Yes, the break was very bad, but it should only have been 3-4 months at most, not 12 to get me walking again. Jeff Oster's overweening arrogance nearly cost me my mobility - I would have been crippled for life had I not sought a second opinion.

Blanca Peak Dental Center (Dr. Sarah Nazeri) recently subjected me to several deceptive,…read moreincompetent and even unethical acts. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THEM. Details: (1) I went there for a severe toothache and they recommended a root canal but said the best they could do was in a month. (2) they lied about their schedule being packed, when in fact the reason I had to wait a month, in pain, was that Dr. Nazeri was about to go on vacation, which I only found out later; So she was willing to leave me in pain so she could get my business despite her vacation. That is a blatant violation of medical ethics. They should have referred me to another provider or expanded their hours to get me in quickly. (3) they lied to get me to have the specialized pre-root-canal x-ray (CBCT) right then at the initial exam -- they said it would save me a separate appointment (an hour's cab ride for me) because it could not be done on the same day as the root canal itself, which turned out to be false (as I discovered at another provider). They apparently wanted to get the $170 x-ray fee even if I went elsewhere for a sooner root-canal. (4) they said they would mail me the x-ray in time to use with another specialist. It's too big a file for email, and they wouldn't use Dropbox or similar service. But it arrived a week later, over 3 days after my appointment with a different provider, indicating that they delayed mailing it out, despite the promise, a reminder phone call from, me and assurance that it would be mailed in time. As a result I had to pay $167 for the same x-ray from another specialist. (5) I disputed the credit card charge mainly on the basis that the late mailing rendered their $170 x-ray useless to me. To my surprise and shock, Blanca Peak fought it! So I explained the whole story to the CC company, including the multiple lies, in writing, and they sustained my dispute in less than 24 hours! My usual policy is that if the merchant makes good on a problem (which most do), I do not write a negative review. In this case, they did not voluntarily make good, but fought the cc dispute.
