The staff is nice, the store is always clean. They have a an amazing selection everything is always fresh . Very reasonable in price. Everything they have is amazing quality you can't go wrong with anything, everything is delectable. I've gotten brisket burgers, ribeye steaks, filet mignons, tomahawk steak, sausages , ribeye filets. Premade dinners. And T-shirts they so soft get one ! This shop is amazing. They had a beautiful local duck in shop for us for Thanksgiving which was amazing. Their ground beef is like nothing I've had. Saw a line building up so after getting coffee I went inside to get the dry salami and French cheese I saw in the first meat case. Wow! Well...never going anywhere else for meat again. This place is awesome from top to bottom. The staff is so kind and helpful, there is always someone back there to talk with and answer questions, and I wasn't 100% sure who the owner was, but I'm betting a lot it was someone working alongside his employees just as hard as they were. Everyone contributed as a really awesome team. We bought multiple steaks and bone for bone marrow broth. We will be back soon for other items as both were fresh and great to cook with. It was clean, didn't have a weird smell (as some butcher shops do) and reminded me of an upscale, hipster, hangout spot. Pricing was very fair as well. Thanks for a great experience. read more

The service is top notch! The selection is small but the quality is amazing. I love that the butchers wear bow ties and button up shirts. Their knowledge of the cuts and what you want to do with them in incredible. They go above and beyond to help you. We got some scallops but weren't going home right away. They didn't have any ice to give us so they generously gave us a small package of sausage that was frozen so we could keep the scallops cold until we got home. So unexpected and kind! The quality is absolutely the best around, you can taste it. Since we have been going there Jeremy the owner has suggested different steaks and cuts of meat that are fabulous. We travel 1 hour to get there and call in orders once a month., to freeze. You can get the sausage loose and not in a casing (old world sausage) which goes great for many dishes. You have got to try the brisket burgers that don't shrink. If you get them without seasoning you can make fantastic custom burgers. They are not like anything you have ever had before. Though they advertise all types of sausages, I stopped by and asked about purchasing 3 dozen Bangers. They told me they would have to make them special as it was not something they carried all the time. I told them I needed them in a week and that I may need up to 4 dozen. They said they would make them and call me. I called them (because they did not me) the morning I intended to pick them up. They told me they would prepare them that day and I told them we would be by to pick them up in the late afternoon. They claimed they would call me later to confirm. Again, no call so we went there expecting them to be ready. They started off saying they only make bangers once a year at St. Patrick's Day. Told them we had stopped by and called and was told they would make them. Then they gave the excuse that the grinder broke down so they could not make them. Then they tried to sell us on other sausages which we could buy elsewhere. Then they offer to make them for us for Christmas. Won't make the mistake of shopping there again. read more

Oh man this place is good. I went in because I heard they had brats that were made with beer from one of the local craft breweries, Fireforge. The butcher had two to choose from, an Oktoberfest brat and and Old World style brat. I got some of both. Hands down the best brats I've had, no joke! In the 10 years I've been in Greenville, one of the things I've been most hoping would open was a good butcher shop. In my dreams, it wouldn't be just any butcher shop, but one that made everything in house, and took pride in each and every offering. Well my wishes have come true with Revival Butchery. In fact, with everything I try, they exceed expectations. Their kielbasa brings me right back to my small town Polish heritage in the upper Midwest. Every sausage I've tried makes me think "THIS is what sausage should taste like". We got our Thanksgiving giving turkey there, and the brined turkey was amazing. As a small, very local butcher shop, you're not going to find everything you may need fresh in the case. They always have a vast selection of offerings in the freezer cases. My recommendation is to go in without an agenda or shopping list, and simply ask them what in the fresh case is good today. They will share the stories of everything in the case, and you will absolutely leave with something awesome. They share the space with Naked Pasta, so oftentimes you can watch the pasta being made, and ask what's good and new in the pasta case, too. We visited Revival Butchery for the first time a few weeks ago. This is a beautiful and interesting shop. We purchased beef ribs, a whole chicken and skirt steak. We roasted the chicken and made chicken salad, chicken soup and chicken for dinner. It was delicious and maybe the best we've ever had (we usually like Springer Mountain Chicken, but the local chicken was as good if not better). We cooked the skirt steak on the stove top with butter and Japanese barbecue sauce, then finished it off in the broiler. The service here is excellent, it's a family-owned business, and they take pride in the shop. We highly recommend Revival! read more

I think the hardest thing for people who haven't been to a true butcher is that they can do pretty much any cut you want, it just might not be on display.
