Have been here before when visiting family in Jefferson. This time we attended a fund raising event for Jefferson elementary school, featuring Andrew Stanley. What a great night. Heavy hors d'overs were served and were delicious provided by a local group called Sugar and Spice Cafe and Catering. Everything was delicious. The taproom is a great place to hang out with friends and family. To everyone who helped with this event, well done!

This place is amazing! We stumbled on this venue and I wish we would have found it sooner. So many great options on tap that it has something for everyone in your party. We had a diverse taste group and everyone was able to find an IPA, witbeir, wine, or sour they absolutely loved. Plenty of tables and seating throughout the building with tons of games to entertain all age groups. The dart boards on the wall in the back hall provide a safe place to throw some darts without tons of people around to laugh at how bad you are at the game. They have a huge floor in the back room that provides so much room for activities!!! I have the feeling there is more to this place than I was able to discover on the quiet day I visited. I'll go back very soon and I recommend you stop in to check it out for yourself!!!

Love the bartenders here. Tap selection is broad and cannot wait until the basement space is open for a regular basis.

The crowd is somewhat Gothic, I don't like their beer they make . Chairs are very tall, not for a short person.

Fabulous place. Great beer choices and even a flight option, to sample several. Food truck there on occasion so eat drink and be merry.

Unimpressed by the less than friendly service and cleanliness but good selection of beers on tap.

I found Meraki Wine Bar the way all great neighborhood gems are discovered--by accident. I was…read moreliterally just sitting in traffic in Grayson, Georgia, when I noticed the spot tucked in like a hidden treasure. Decided to swing in for a quick drink and a bite... and let me just say, this place delivered. I grabbed a seat outside, and it was the kind of patio setting that just feels good. You know the type--families laughing over dinner, couples sharing wine flights, girls' night energy in full swing, and even a few solo sippers like myself just soaking in the peace. The vibe is cozy, inviting, and full of life, like the conversations around me were about to turn into lifelong memories. Now let's talk service--because Nico? An absolute gem. Attentive without hovering, super kind, and clearly knew the menu like the back of his hand. You can tell he actually cares about your experience. He made sure everything I ordered came out perfectly, gave great pairing suggestions, and his energy added so much to the night. For food, I stuck with tapas and still left impressed. I had the beef empanadas, which came with this creamy, tangy aioli-style sauce that just elevated every bite. Perfectly crisp on the outside, juicy and flavorful inside--5/5, no hesitation. Then came the fried pork ceviche--and wow. The citrus was bold in the best way, that fresh lime flavor dancing through every bite, paired with pickled onions that gave it this addicting tang. Light, bright, but still rich thanks to that crisp pork. Another 5/5, easy. The wine list? Straight-up elite. They casually have Caymus and Grgich Hills chilling on the menu like it's no big deal--by the bottle, of course (and if you know, you know). Definitely a spot where wine lovers can treat themselves without the drive into the city. I only scratched the surface with the tapas, but I'll absolutely be back for the full entrée experience. Whether you want a solo night with a glass of something special, a romantic evening, or a laid-back hang with friends, Meraki hits all the right notes. A wine bar this good, this close to home? Yeah... traffic's never been so rewarding. Note to self: next time, fake a traffic jam just to justify stopping again.

This was about…read more10-15 minutes from campus (downtown Dahlonega) I attended a wedding of my friends Katherine and Chris at the winery - honestly I didn't taste any of the wine (yes I know, bad) but enjoyed myself. The venue is pretty spectacular with great views of the surrounding hills and valleys along with the vineyards as the hang of the side of the mountain. There were two aspects that pushed my opinion down a bit, neither are really the fault of the venue or business so I've stayed with the 5-stars. The wedding was held in an outdoor pavilion with great views, but during the first week of August quite hot. There are ceiling fans but they didn't help too much - I was sweltering in my jacket and tie by the time the ceremony ended (just be aware if you book something here during the hot season). The second, there are a lot of stairs as you are on the side of a mountain. If you have a hard time traversing a lot of stairs, there are other means of getting around so once again be aware. The main "hall" has windows with fantastic views. I thought the food was exceptional and wish I had taken more photos, but there were a lot of poor lighting (I was seated next to the dance area). My apologies for the missing check in and the lack of photos but I didn't want to be obnoxious at a wedding. Overall I love the rustic charm of this place and plan to return and more fully explore the wine offerings. I thought the service was exceptional with very accommodating staff, especially the bartenders.

We parked at the bottom of the venue and had to climb the stairs to the top. If you're lucky, you might catch a ride in the golf cart, but if you're seated in the back, hold on tight because it's a steep ride! We came for the Sunday brunch buffet, which features a different theme each month and never disappoints. If brunch isn't your thing, you can enjoy a wine tasting in the tasting room located below the main dining area. If you're there for brunch, you're also allowed to go back and forth between the tasting room and dining room during your allotted table time. I definitely recommend visiting any time of year; the views alone are worth the trip!
