Sip Happens is so cute! It is definitely good for groups as they have a few large tables as well as tables for two. You can sit anywhere as it's first come first served. The staff was very welcoming & very knowledgeable about their wines. Unfortunately we got there too late to experience the sweet wine flight because they ran out. BUT! There is a vast selection of reds wines as well as whites and depending on your tastes, with some guidance you'll find the perfect bottle for you. We stayed til closing trying various wines and enjoying the great customer service from the staff. I even purchased a wine chiller bag that was perfectly priced at under $10!you can either try the wines they have chosen for the day or purchase a bottle & pay the fee for the opening but you have to finish it there! I had a great time.

Mom and I were in town for a wedding and had some time to kill. Found this gem on Yelp and we enjoyed a nice bottle of Rose paired with a cheese plate and crackers. Unfortunately we couldn't do the wine tasting as they are booked for the next month...good for them! If ever in this area again we'd love to look into doing a wine tasting class in advance next time.

The matcha was weak - charge for milk was unexpected, $6.75. The staff were great, the ambience and slight smattering of decor inside was okay. I was really looking forward to trying the oysters, but I didn't realize their menu changes often so unfortunately, no oysters this time. A little sad about that! We decided to order pretty much everything off the à la carte menu. Overall, the food was just okay to me. The Brussels sprouts were the hardest to eat they were basically raw, just thinly sliced with sauce poured over. It would've been much better if they were at least steamed or grilled a bit. The mushrooms, though, were absolutely BOMB! If I didn't know what it was, I would've thought it was some sort of meat dish super soft, flavorful, and delicious. Definitely the highlight of the meal. The Wagyu, on the other hand, was a big disappointment. For the price, it was tough and chewy when it should've been buttery and melt-in-your-mouth tender. Overall, the place is cute and the vibes are nice, but the food was overpriced for what it was. I'd only come back for those mushrooms they were that good.

I placed an order for everything on the carte menu. Food was fun and a few of the dishes caught me off guard, in a good way. Pros. We loveeed the maitake mushrooms. This dish was one dish my friend and I had low expectations for. Ironically it's the only dish we would go back for! The bucatini I also had low expectations for. I hardly order pasta, from non pasta specialty places, because the pasta is 99% of the time going to be overcooked. BUT this bucatini was cooked perfectly al dente. The sauce was rich but not too heavy and just enough to cover the noodles without drowning. The crab taste was pretty faint. If it weren't listed on the menu I wouldn't even think it were in the dish. Cons. The brussel sprout salad was honestly almost inedible. It is a raw shaved brussel sprout salad, dressed as a Caesar salad. Although not bad tasting, the core of the sprouts was not tender but dry and hard. There was also a lot of it. Most disappointing was the "waygu ribeye". The quality was pretty horrible. The piece we got had silver skin as well as chunks of fat. I wish I got a picture of the leftover fat from the steak but if you look at my picture you can clearly see slices of just fat. I love a little fat on a well cooked ribeye and do not mind paying for it. But paying $50 for a probably 8oz "waygu" ribeye with only half of it palatable is wild. Regardless, I'm actually going back in a couple of days with my husband because of those amazing mushrooms.. though as I am writing this review I'm debating on canceling my reservation, ordering the mushrooms to go, and just going elsewhere. lol

They ended up serving us Rib Roast and the waiter came out as they served it to us and said "oh my manager said they changed the cut"....those are two different types of meat/steak and it would have been nice to have the option to change my meal because really, the rib roast was not good at all. It had no flavor to it and it carried a lot of liquid to it that all the liquid fell to the bottom of the bowl and mushed up the potatoes. We came with a party of six to celebrate my Mimi's birthday, and everything from the food to the service was amazing. The atmosphere is elegant, warm, and upscale without ever feeling stuffy. It has that classic steakhouse feel that makes it perfect for a birthday dinner, date night, or any special occasion. We started with the oysters and calamari, and both were fantastic. I ordered the Center Cut Filet Oscar style, and it was cooked perfectly. For the table, we shared the onion rings, corn, and garlic mashed potatoes. The garlic mashed potatoes are easily my favorite side here. I'm obsessed and could probably eat an entire family size serving by myself. I also tried some of my dad's lobster bisque, which was so good that it has officially made my list of things I need to order for myself next time. My sister ordered the Dover sole, and after trying some of hers for the first time, I'm now debating getting that on my next visit too. Everything was delicious, and the portions at Frankie's are always incredibly generous. You definitely won't leave hungry! My espresso martinis were also amazing. I'm pretty particular about how I like them, and they made them exactly how I wanted, which I really appreciated. Since we were celebrating a birthday, they brought out their famously gigantic slice of cake for the table. There was more than enough for all six of us to share, and I even took some home for my fiancé. They also sent us home with their complimentary muffins for breakfast the next morning, which is such a fun touch and something I always look forward to because they are delicious. We had two servers taking care of our table, and both were incredibly attentive, professional, and welcoming. They truly made us feel like family and made my Mimi's birthday dinner feel special. Frankie's continues to be one of those places we can count on for incredible food, amazing cocktails, generous portions, beautiful ambiance, and top tier service. There's a reason it remains one of my favorites, and we'll happily keep coming back!

The table was decorated with little hearts and a card to wish us a happy anniversary. Our servers were a team made up of Deija, Celia and Jackson. They were all very attentive and friendly. They brought out their warm rolls with a side of butter. Those were very good. We started off with an appetizer of their fritto misto. This dish was fried lightly and very delicious. I wanted a caesar salad and my husband mentioned sampling some of my salad. Deija overheard this and split the caesar salad which I thought was very thoughtful and nice. I couldn't have imagined eating it in addition to the bread, appetizer, entree and side that was ordered. So I really appreciated it being split. For our entrees I ordered the double cut filet mignon with shareable mashed potatoes and my husband ordered the bone in ribeye with the corn soufflé. My picture of the ribeye came out blurry so it is not pictured, sadly. We really enjoyed our steaks, they were phenomenal. The char, temperature and the way they were cooked were very delicious and to our liking. After we finished up our entrees we were going to ask for their dessert menu. Celia brought out a cheesecake with strawberries with a plate decorated in chocolate that said Happy Anniversary. We were pleasantly surprised and thankful for the dish. Deija mentioned that she hoped it was a good choice based on some food items I mentioned to her I could and could not have. We were excited and happy with the surprise dessert, it was delightful. We really enjoyed our experience at this restaurant as well as the food. The entire occasion was heavenly. We will definitely be back in the future.
