Sip Happens is so cute! It is definitely good for groups as they have a few large tables as well as tables for two. You can sit anywhere as it's first come first served. The staff was very welcoming & very knowledgeable about their wines. Unfortunately we got there too late to experience the sweet wine flight because they ran out. BUT! There is a vast selection of reds wines as well as whites and depending on your tastes, with some guidance you'll find the perfect bottle for you. We stayed til closing trying various wines and enjoying the great customer service from the staff. I even purchased a wine chiller bag that was perfectly priced at under $10!you can either try the wines they have chosen for the day or purchase a bottle & pay the fee for the opening but you have to finish it there! Mom and I were in town for a wedding and had some time to kill. Found this gem on Yelp and we enjoyed a nice bottle of Rose paired with a cheese plate and crackers. Unfortunately we couldn't do the wine tasting as they are booked for the next month...good for them! My wife and I visited Sip Happens for date night. The owners were wonderful and extremely helpful. After explaining "how it works," they let us browse the entire store, answering all the questions we asked. The store offers over 200 small batch wines from around the world. There are about a dozen wines available for purchase by the glass, but most were bottles. When you buy a bottle, though, they do offer a glass for you to use when drinking at one of the tables. They also had cheese and meats available for a "build-a-charcuterie" plate. Prices were extremely fair for the high quality bottles available. read more

Only downside was the need for more seating but he addressed their expansion plans to get more seating, even a patio out back, so I'm sure that'll take care of the seating issue. Cool spot! This was my first wine tasting experience so I don't have anything to compare it to, but it was an exemplary experience for my boyfriend and I. Greg was very nice when we first got there, even looked out for me! Laurie was very knowledgeable about the wines we tasted and was very friendly & engaging, so were the other people in attendance who all seemed to be regulars (which to me is a good sign). Came here on a Saturday evening for a glass of wine before a dinner reservation. Although the shop is small, its laid out well and offers several types of wine all with small cards that tell you about each one, I especially like the pairing ideas. The owners were incredibly nice and very helpful. My fiance' and I couldn't decide what type of wine we wanted so we were able to try a little bit of 3 types of wine to decide on the one we liked to best. We ended up deciding on a red blend and it was easy to drink, delicious and perfect for a pre dinner starter.
