    Cool entrance

I went here after the steak that night (see previous review). I really just wanted to unwind and have a beer or a wine to let things sink in (business stuff), but I ended up with a flight. I figured a beer flight is manageable, why not a wine flight? Big difference! I tried my best, which wasn't easy because most places in Buford close early. At 10 pm or something. I didn't know that when I ordered. It was 9:15, and pounding wine isn't much fun. Fortunately, the owner and manager were really cool and I had great conversations with both. The service and friendliness here are top of the line. And it's a very chill and relaxing vibe. There are plenty of customers here, but they get tables in groups. If you want peace and quiet, sit at the bar. It's not loud either way though. The patrons here are respectful. I also think the wine was very good, but I'm not a wine connoisseur. I just drink it for a buzz or to relax once in a while. I didn't finish all the wine. Tried a to-go concoction, but to no avail. Spilled it. Overall, recommend.

What an absolutely charming place! Great wine selection and friendly staff. The charcuterie board was fabulous.

Great chill place to sit and drink some wine and eat a little snack. Staff here are very attentive. If I could give more stars I would!

You can find Wolf Mountain Vineyards at 180 Wolf Mountain Trl Dahlonega, GA 30533. This was about…read more10-15 minutes from campus (downtown Dahlonega) I attended a wedding of my friends Katherine and Chris at the winery - honestly I didn't taste any of the wine (yes I know, bad) but enjoyed myself. The venue is pretty spectacular with great views of the surrounding hills and valleys along with the vineyards as the hang of the side of the mountain. There were two aspects that pushed my opinion down a bit, neither are really the fault of the venue or business so I've stayed with the 5-stars. The wedding was held in an outdoor pavilion with great views, but during the first week of August quite hot. There are ceiling fans but they didn't help too much - I was sweltering in my jacket and tie by the time the ceremony ended (just be aware if you book something here during the hot season). The second, there are a lot of stairs as you are on the side of a mountain. If you have a hard time traversing a lot of stairs, there are other means of getting around so once again be aware. The main "hall" has windows with fantastic views. I thought the food was exceptional and wish I had taken more photos, but there were a lot of poor lighting (I was seated next to the dance area). My apologies for the missing check in and the lack of photos but I didn't want to be obnoxious at a wedding. Overall I love the rustic charm of this place and plan to return and more fully explore the wine offerings. I thought the service was exceptional with very accommodating staff, especially the bartenders.

We parked at the bottom of the venue and had to climb the stairs to the top. If you're lucky, you might catch a ride in the golf cart, but if you're seated in the back, hold on tight because it's a steep ride! We came for the Sunday brunch buffet, which features a different theme each month and never disappoints. If brunch isn't your thing, you can enjoy a wine tasting in the tasting room located below the main dining area. If you're there for brunch, you're also allowed to go back and forth between the tasting room and dining room during your allotted table time. I definitely recommend visiting any time of year; the views alone are worth the trip!

They took care of every detail, from setting up the tables/chairs & linens, to serving the food, to mixing drinks to clean up. The entire experience was seamless. We will definitely use them again because they offer such high quality and great value. We have also eaten at the restaurant in downtown Gainesville. The food is excellent there as well.

This is a review for the Easter brunch only…read more I'm sure my grandparents would've loved this place if they were still around. You got your white tablecloths, rooms full of retirees, and a vibe that hasn't changed much since the Reagan administration. Unfortunately, there was none of that live music that this place is known for. My family and I came for the Easter brunch buffet @ $55/person. The menu looked great: herb crusted prime rib at the carving station, shrimp and grits, Belgian waffles, deviled eggs, bourbon glazed carrots, cheesecake dessert squares. But the reality was that it's more like an upscale hotel breakfast. Safe, mostly bland, and probably exactly what the "usual" crowd there was looking for. The bacon was overcooked and shriveled. The deviled eggs didn't even have any paprika. And who puts a giant vat of syrup BEFORE the waffles? And their signature strawberry punch would've tasted way better chilled or iced instead of being kept at room temperature. The prime rib was what made it all worth it. It was tender, juicy, cooked just right, and the horseradish took care of their seasoning problem. That carving station is what saves the day along with the fantastic staff. Even the manager was great to talk to. I just wish the rest of the food was better than "meh." A couple of tips: call for reservations, there's no online booking. Parking is annoying because of the app. If you don't have a walker, just use the giant free public lot one block over on Main Street. Also, the "Order" button on their website goes nowhere. Maybe just replace it with "Menu," Luna. Looks like Mother's Day is getting the breakfast buffet brunch encore, so if you want to experience what I did, go for it. I probably won't be back even though the regular menu looks interesting.
