While the practitioner we saw was not bad, (she was in fact very kind to my daughter - the stars are all for her), it was the bill I received long after the fact that I want to warn others about! Do not blindly pay your medical bills! You have to call your insurance provider and three-way call the practice to question and dispute any charges. Maybe it has nothing to do with this branch bc they have a main branch somewhere else but it reflects poorly on their entirely organization. The lady on the phone didn't even apologize or explain how the over-billing happened when confronted by my insurance. She just shortly said the charges are removed now and hung up. It was as if she was caught doing something wrong. I don't know if that's something that happens all the time to others who don't pay attention so I thought I'd warn everyone about that. I hate to deal with insurance and this kind of paperwork but glad I sucked it up and called. PSA: Please review your bills carefully and call your insurance if something doesn't make sense! I was almost out $183 for nothing! I doubt they would return any "erroneous" payments so don't pay until you're perfectly clear about what you're paying for! It just rubbed me the wrong way when there was no apology for their mistakes. I have a gut feeling they try to slip one by people all the time and they got caught this time. A week later, I go to my appointment. Hardly any wait which was great! But then I am greeted by the provider who has no idea why I am there, so I tell her my concerns, and she tells me there is no treatment for this. I bring up the treatment that I saw on the website and she has no idea about what I am referring to. I kid you not, I had to literally pull up their website and show her what I was asking about because she didn't know about it. She looks at my phone and tells me she doesnt know about it because the service wasnt being done in Tracy. So going there was a complete waste of time. I wish they had told me before I came in to save me a trip. The provider did call me later on after appointment to tell me that there is a branch over an hour away that could perform the service. So 1 star for follow up.

I had an awful experience with Dr. David Cruz. They gave me a body scan each visit which was not something I requested. Im not sure why he felt the need to tell me how HE felt about MY body unprompted. My primary care doctor thinks I am a healthy weight and I have a healthy BMI. Health is my number one priority so his opinion affected me a lot at the time. I think this was beyond unprofessional and made me very uncomfortable given we were in a setting where cosmetic procedures are sold. I had a rhinoplasty with Dr. Brett Stompro in December 2024, and it has been the most disappointing and frustrating experience of my life. The Results: Almost a year and a half later (March 2026), the results are objectively bad. My nose is now crooked ("cross"), and the tip remains bulky and disproportionate. Despite the high cost, the surgery made my nose look smaller in a way that doesn't fit my face, while simultaneously leaving it looking unfinished and "thick." The Patient Care (The "Bait and Switch"): During the consultation and payment phase, the facility was full of promises. They assured me I would be well taken care of and that Dr. Stompro would personally see me at the 3-month and 6-month marks to monitor my progress. This was a complete lie. Once they had my money and the surgery was over, I was treated like an inconvenience. The facility staff was extremely unprofessional. Every time I called to schedule my promised follow-ups, I was told the doctor was unavailable. I had to fight just to get a video call, and Dr. Stompro did not actually see me in person to evaluate his work until March 2026--nearly 15 months after my surgery. The Dismissive Attitude: When I finally expressed my extreme frustration and got an in-person meeting, the experience was insulting. I tried to explain why I was unhappy with the crookedness and the bulky tip, and instead of offering a solution or showing empathy, Dr. Stompro was incredibly dismissive. He told me that "this was the best he could get" and even stated that he "liked his work." It is devastating to trust a surgeon with your face and your finances, only to have them ghost you for over a year and then tell you that a crooked, bulky result is "the best" they can do. Final Verdict: Do not be fooled by the initial promises of Plastic Surgery & MediSpa of Dr. Stompro & Dr. Cheng. They will take your money, provide subpar results, and then abandon you when you need post-operative care. Save your money, your time, and your face--go to a surgeon who actually cares about their patients' outcomes.
