I bought a groupon a long time ago and nearly forgot about redeeming the coupon. I called them and asked if it was ok to book after the expiry and it was a pleasant surprise to find out that they would honor the coupon even though it was expired. I did have to wait a few weeks for an appointment however it was understandable since it seemed like a popular deal online. When I came in for the shoot I was immediately taken care of by Jen the make up artist who was very professional and complimented my skin tones which can be quite a mess. The prep was pretty brief but we got a lot done in the 20 or so minutes set aside for it. Eli then took my photos for about 40 minutes and I had the opportunity to change a few times. I wouldn't say I'm a pro model and I really don't know much about posing. Overall though I got some great direction and it was a good experience. I chose this company because it was creative and seemed to be a interesting company . I was happy with my edits which had a large variety of lighting and poses. I was even given free black and white photos after the edits were delivered which was a nice touch. We had a great experience working with Eli and his team. We worked on a fashion portfolio for the show and were on a rush. Eli scheduled us for a convenient time. We paid for 2 hours but actually spent more because a significant number of wardrobe changes was needed and a huge # of shots was taken. Alex, a make up artist did a great job, as well. As we explained that we literally had a couple of days till a deadline, Eli did everything urgently. Yes, we paid a bit extra but I am sure the amount was more then fair. Both my wife, who is a fashion designer, and I (her manager) are happy with the final result. Next time we'll use Eli's services again. Thanks guys, well done! P.S. - I saw a few negative comments and have to share my thoughts. First of all, I feel truly sorry for guys who had a bad experience. However, I am almost 20 years in business and know that things happen and mistakes are a part of any job. I believe that Eli is a very good guy and will be happy to correct his mistakes if any. I bought a Living Social Deal coupon for this photography studio and I have been trying to get a hold of the photographer Eli, since September. He is not responding to my voice mails, emails or text messages regarding setting up an appointment for a photo shoot. My coupon expires on October 4th and I will not get to take advantage of this deal that I paid for already. I am very disappointed in the service I have received. I will never buy another coupon from this company again or refer any of my friends and family to this photographer. This photo studio is not professional. Purchased a photoshoot from Groupon for my husband and myself - did not get the full hour and was rushed. That would have been fine if they were professional - which they are not. Eli, the manager, was extremely "lack-luster" - did not have good customer service skills, was rude, tried to get more money from us in the end, would not give us a time slot that worked for us, and would never sign his emails with his name! Not very happy with the level of service as well as the final edits. The advertisement says $79, but upon getting to the place, they asked for a $30 on top of what we have already paid for. Then it takes months to get the final edits and the final edits are not satisfactory. If I wanted something like that, I would have gotten an amateur photographer for cheaper and better results. read more

After spending more than two weeks trying to book an appointment with them, I gave up and contacted Groupon for a full refund on the deal I purchased. I purchased the $99 Groupon deal at the end of November hoping to get some nice photos taken for the New Years. They have a nice website which allows you to book appointments online without calling or emailing. However, only Monday appointments are available to Groupon users and if you want your appointment on a different day, you have the "anytime" option for $149. Since I prefer having my appointment on a Saturday, I decided to go with the "anytime" option thinking I could pay the difference. It wasn't clear on the website whether I could even do that so I called to confirm. The owner picked up and suggested that I stick with the Monday options as it'd be too inconvenient for his makeup artist to come downtown just for an hour and a half if there are no other appointments that day. Plus he said he was on the street and was unable to do anything for me right away. He also suggested I send him an email instead of booking online so he could provide me with available time slots. So I did. Days later, I received an email from him telling me to book online. At this point, I was already starting to feel really uncomfortable considering I had already paid money in advance but couldn't even book an appointment. I communicated with the him over the phone (after calling a few times with no answer) again as there are no available appointments showing online. He said they got last minute cancellations all the time so he would get back to me on Sunday if someone did cancel. I waited till Sunday and no response. So I called him once again to find out. The answer was that he was doing grocery shopping and was unable to confirm anything but would send me an email after. Note that this conversation took place on a Sunday afternoon. Even if there was a cancellation the next day (Monday), I wouldn't have time to do it as I needed to prepare. I simply couldn't deal with all of this trouble and unprofessionalism any longer so I contacted Groupon for a full refund. Luckily the lady was kind enough to offer me the refund even though I've missed the deadline. If the owner was somewhat professional, I would still like to get my photos taken. I went to Revolve Talent as a complete newbie to photo shoots, and I must say they made my experience relaxed and enjoyable. The receptionist was super friendly and even ran off to buy some green tea when I requested it (they only had black tea and something else). The make-up artist was fantastic despite me not really loving make-up. She made me look beautiful and natural. The photographer was on the ball, he did his job and assured that there was fun music playing to help me get pumped for the shoot. All in all I'd say it was awesome! read more

DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE. I got a group-on for revolve and thought it looked good. I went to get photos taken for Christmas, which Revolve Talent said would be ready in plenty of time. What should have been my first clue was that when we got there for our appointment (ON TIME) they made us wait outside in the freezing cold for 20 minutes. The photographer seemed very shy and gave NO direction but we still got some really nice shots. 5 weeks, 2 ignored calls and 4 ignored emails later I finally heard back that my emails were going straight to their junk (from my gmail account), which is something I would have hoped they would catch, or that they would have checked their voice mail messages. They told me they'd get the photos to me the next day. Another week went by and 2 more ignored email before I finally got the files. 3 weeks after Christmas. The whole process was unprofessional and I felt so uneasy, disappointed and embarrassed really, that I had picked this company. I would have rather gotten a refund. My housemate and I bought a voucher on living social and for the price we paid, the experience was excellent. I had my make-up done at the studio. Unfortunately I didn't have my hair styled as expected because we ran out of prep time but the photos turned out really great anyway! In 2 hours, my housemate and I had an opportunity to take pictures together and also individual photos with 3 wardrobe changes! I would recommend anyone looking for a great deal to have their photos done with Revolve Talent! read more

I recently had some shots taken at Revolve. I found about this place on Groupon. My experience with Revolve has been amazing. Eli and his team are very professional and they took really good care of me. I was on a deadline for these shots and Eli got out of his away to accommodate me. He promptly replied to all of my emails, scheduled the shot for the next day and even returned the photos to me just a few days later at no extra cost. The photos are fantastic. I am very picky with photos and I usually don't look good in them, but Eli did his magic :) I would recommend Revolve 100%. I am going back for my next shoot for sure. read more

This was my first photoshoot and I am impressed with the results. I got tons of shots, that are flawless- even without being retouched.
