I have never been to a waxing place that does such through and un-painful job. I did brows, upper lips and Brazilian. Shay took almost solid 15 min on my brows and the shape was really natural and perfect. She used wax on the brows for big shapes and all the details were done mostly by tweezers. For the facial hair, she used sugar based wax and hard wax for Brazilian. Both really not hurtful. Shay was so friendly and nice. She told me that she recently moved from Hawaii. Plus, I really liked that the place didn't play "too-much-zen-going-on-spa-music" but some casual indie rocks, which I thought was cool. In summary I highly recommend here because it's, - Clean - Through and detailed - Not much pain - Super friendly - First time customer Brazilian was only $30. Not sure if the promotion is still going on. I was able to get/modify my reservation pretty close to the date since she just opened the location. But you never know with Shay's service not sure if this will be true in near future! read more

This place is AMAZING! I discovered this place through a sponsored Facebook post, and since it was a $30 for a first time Brazilian Wax deal, I said, "Hey, why not?" and I absolutely am HOOKED onto this place! There is no double dipping, Shay even offers numbing spray (which kinda helps, but here waxing doesn't hurt anyway, lol)!! Most of all, the process is quick! I've been to a place that took an hour and didn't even get all the hours, but ReWAXation is the place to go! I took yelp's advice and booked a bikini wax- when I arrived (15 minutes early) I was greeted by name and told she could take me right away, awesome! I echo every review written below. I have had some terribly painful waxes in the past so I went into my appointment last night fearing the worst and ready to waddle out with my nether-region on fire. All I can say is that Shay has wonder-hands. I am still trying to get my head around how she managed to make--what is usually a very unpleasant experience-- so great. By far the best waxing experience I've had!! Shay is super thorough - no way you'll find hairs that she missed; she understands exactly what you want - super important for eyebrows, for example; the place is charming - wooden walls and plants, you feel like in a resort. Pain wise - it was as good as it gets, since the wax is high quality and Shay is a professional. She's been doing this for 10 years, and it shows - she's gentle and quick. This place was awesome! Took advantage of the 30$ first time client charge and def worth it =) I was timid since I just started Brazilian waxing only less than a yr ago and never did hard wax before. Love this place! My waxer moved to a different salon and I tried to use my old one, but it just wasn't the same without her. I decided to try out this place, which is down the street from my apartment, and couldn't be happier with the experience I had. The decor is super relaxing and Shayana is so incredibly fast. I have been going to Stript for the last 3 years. I have no complaints about the service, but I was tired of trekking to the Marina for my waxes and then paying $55/60 for each one after spending $15 each way on Uber to get there from my place in Lower Nob Hill. Yesterday, I decided to see if I could find a place that was closer, with good reviews. And low and behold... I found Shay :) I happened upon ReWAXation via yelp and I can happily say that for $15/20 less, Shay did an even better job than I've ever had done at Stript. As I said, I will never shortchange Stript - they've been good to me. The fact simply is that Shay uses a different wax that is EXTREMELY PAINLESS. At Stript, I find that the pain level was particular to the technician - and this may be the case here too... but since there is only Shay, I will never know :) Bottom line is that she is awesome, priced well - still offered me wine, water, etc. and I opted to give her a bigger tip because her prices are so fair. I went to ReWAXation recently for my first-ever Brazilian wax. The reviews looked good, the prices were reasonable, and I could book a same-day appointment. The atmosphere was welcoming and comfortable. Love the 'come to Bush, leave without one' tag line. Upon arrival, I was given wine in a Dixie cup and immediately taken into a small, rustic room. My appointment was with Kelly and she was friendly, professional, and distracting. This was obviously a painful experience. She was patient and quick. They do use HARD WAX (not the warmer, more liquid wax pulled off with cloth strips). I was told hard wax is less painful and better for your skin, but keep in mind I have no frame of reference. One general tip: don't forget to exfoliate! I'll definitely go back here any time I'm in the Bay Area. read more

Gabi was my aesthetician, she was amazing! The whole experience, from their precautions, to the procedure, to details of her next steps, it made the appointment easy and comfortable. Each experience has been pleasant and gone exactly as expected. They're super efficient and detail-oriented.
