So far everything I've seen is just absolutely beautiful and the sales lady was very helpful but she was young and was trying to help me find a suitable piece of furniture that I was seeking. My style is a little bit different but yet they do have very nice things to show. Grant it I understand how sales people work but the fact is I was looking for more than just furniture I was looking for rugs and to redecorate my place. After looking , I finally found what I was seeking and decided that I will give them a call and give them plenty of time to arrange to see what I am needing on my property. They have all kinds of colors and beautiful styled clothing as well and boots it's either a hitter or miss either you find what you're looking for or you can't find what you're looking for. Either way this is a really neat eye Opener,because everything that they show you is really nice and beautiful. So I'll be returning and very grateful for the sales lady to actually show me a book that has everything in that I may need and want. How well made they were looks like good quality. Then I saw a very unique large peice of thick wood with 4 or 5 very large bulbs wrapped hanging like a a chandelier. Very cool indeed as walked through the store there so many beautiful things all throughout the store. I did find a porcelain baby bath tub and it looked like an antique sells for about 250.00 price tag but well worth it. I truly love there choices for clothing but forgot to bring my purse in. I definitely will return so many very unique items they carry. As I shall return and get the candles with a wonderful heavenly scented. Parking very easy and will visit soon really like to but the cow skulls so beautiful...mirrors are impressive. I could hangout there for hours and not be bored. Everyone is in awe of the wood, the design, the quality, and the uniqueness of these works of art. When I sold my home of almost 20 years and moved into a much smaller condo in Southwest Austin, one of the very first requirements was that there was a space where the table and chairs would be showcased appropriately. Fortunately, I found the perfect place. Now, for the disclaimer, the founder of Southwest Trading Post and the artisan who crafted our table and chairs is one of our sons, but I can assure you that if someone else had made this treasure, I would be just as delighted with it. I can say I really got lost inside the store, discovering so much. I saw some frames to purchase to make a gallery wall. Everyone was so kind and helpful. I love the selection of charms available to decorate the different projects. I chose to do the drip bear. You choose three colors. One color is your base. You can't take the bear home the same day, you have to come back in 4 days so it can dry fully. I enjoyed my time here. I like this location because it has better parking than the last location and you can easily grab lunch or dinner after you are finished.. Happy creating my beautiful people.
