We were shopping for about 15 minutes to be told by the employees that they have been closed for about 20 minutes. The other person decided to check out at that point. I voiced to my husband I'm just going to put my stuff back and not buy anything because I was a little annoyed. At no point did an employee announce hey we're closed but we can go ahead and check you out. They just let us walk out after we put our things back and didn't say a word. Not great customer service. When I need red mal de ojo bracelets (what are ojo bracelets, you ask? They are for protection! Look it up!) for myself, friends, or even for my baby nephew Cantu's has got them. Yup! She carries baby bracelets too to give to a newborn baby or any one who has small wrists to be honest. You will want to really take your time here when you arrive as there are so many things to see. Books, candles, prayer booklets, trinkets, statues, and tarot cards (also in Spanish!) can be found here. He also said that I needed to take my clothes off and only leave my underwear, which raised some concerns and made me feel really uncomfortable. I think that if he is going to be Performing this kind of ritual on a woman, there needs to be a woman practitioner in the room while this is being done And he should also offer some sort of gown or a sheet for the Client to cover themselves with. He worked on it for several weeks & it kept great time for several months then quit working, then would work for a few hours & quit. I took it back to McGuire's, Jason did some diagnostics & yes, the platform needs to be rebuilt. I frequently go to Houston so, he called his contact in Houston that he knows rebuilds platforms to see what the time frame was & then gave me their card. I will take it with me the next time I go down that way. I also have an antique bandstand clock that wasn't working properly, I took it in, they made some adjustments & I picked it up today.
