This store had a good selection for brands of vodka which is what I came for. However the front desk employee made me leave without the merchandise I paid for (yes, I'm over 21). After I made my selections I walked up to the register to finish my purchase. I asked the attendant at the register if they accepted apple pay and the woman said, "I don't know, you can try". I was pretty shocked at this but I saw that they had the symbol on their card machine so I proceeded. I tapped to fill out the prompts, signed, and received the immediate notification on my phone of the withdrawal from my phone. The clerk soon after told me that the card wasn't processed. I was confused and was trying to ask why it has been taken out of my bank. She immediately raised her voice to tell me she didnt get the payment and asked me to try again. I continued to question what we could do to figure it out; maybe there was an error in their system, or maybe the computer froze; I even suggested taking to the manager. She immediately got defensive, claimed to be the manager, and alarmingly raised her voice at me. I was even more shocked. And as she continued to speed up her speech insisting she didn't get the money I asked her to settle down. I said I was just trying to figure what is going on. She replied furiously questioning if I was giving her attitude. At this point she vigorously grabbed my bag and threw it behind the counter. This is when I couldn't help raise my voice back. I did not want this situation to get out of hand but I was now defending myself from her outrageous verbal attacks including calling me a son of a b*tch. I am utterly appalled that employees think it's okay to behave this way at a place of work! I am going make sure I get my money back but have been scarred by this belligerent interaction with this vendor. read more

I am a frequent costumer here and I was asked to leave the store because I had my service dog with me. The cashier approached me and told me that there are no dogs allowed. I tried explaining to him that he is a service dog and he continued to tell me things like, " I have pitbulls at my house and you dont see me taking them everywhere" and "You can just get paperwork online". I am a U.S. Army Veteran and I deployed to Iraq. I am disgusted with the discrimination and aggressiveness from the cashier ( WHO ENDED UP BEING THE OWNER). Rex is a small, family run-and-owned liquor store which building also includes a laundry mat with a few apartments above. It is a small place, so if your out looking for something specific, I would probably try someplace else. Some items are priced too high in my opinion, probably because the location is close to UMASS, although most of their vodkas are actually the best deal in town. It is convenient for me because it is so close and sometimes just don't feel like driving up to tax free NH. I feel better knowing that my hard earned money is going to a small family business. They have the only laundromat around which is convenient for people. But good grief, fix the broken washing and drying machines already! read more

This business is owned by a very friendly and loving couple. It's always a pleasure to enter their establishment. You will need to get your quarters at the liquor store but they have plenty of them. They are working on the machines in the laundry but there's plenty of tripple loaders. You can always find a washer or dryer. read more

This is a pleasant store run by a friendly couple. Cold refrigerators with variety packed into a small store. The laundromat has lots of tripple loaders. Never trouble finding a machine, washer or dryer. Get your quarters at the liquor store, never a problem. read more
