Went to the website a few weeks back and saw some cute wine cages, the type that you can put a bottle or corks into. Guess I should have called ahead and saved myself the trip. Apparently, the web page is OLD, they don't seem to care about updating things. They don't even have a decent amount of cigars like they have pictured online. Not really a great place to buy gifts. Also, masks don't seem to be an issue or even wanted here. Sooo glad I'm vaccinated. I just made my purchase of a bottle of Kahlua and left. I can find prices just as good elsewhere and I guess my gift stuff online. Disappointing. read more

I didn't expect it to be so downmarket, but the staff was friendly and the prices were reasonable for what we bought. However, the selection is just not on par with our usual range of choices, and there were no descriptions of the various products, which we enjoy reading before making a selection. Lady at the front is sooooooooo rude. Ill never go back there again. A customer didn't have a mask on so I asked politely that she was letting people in. She was so rude... threw my cigaretts at me and proceeded to tell me that she doesn't want to get punched in the face or get spit on for telling people they can't come in without a mask. #1 Selection is Very Good and Fresh. #2 More expensive on the same items than local Liquor stores. 10%. #3 It is convenient for me, but if you go into the same store on the same day once a week for several months I think that you should be acknowledged by the staff. I just came in here for the first time for some champagne with a friend who came to visit out of state. We grabbed a few bottles of champagne and some orange juice for some mimosas during the game! We approached the counter (about to spend about $50) and were turned away due to my friend having an out-of-state ID. To add, she is 24 and I am 25, not just a couple of kids. On top of all this, the clerk was immediately defensive with us before we even knew what was going on. I gave this a one star due to poor service and a rule that was created that doesn't even seem legal. Everyone lives all over the world and should not be turned away for a sale because of where they're from. It's just poor business! This review is on two levels. 1. Selection: This store has excellent selection of most categories, and on this level it's one of the best liquor stores I've ever been in. Plus, the place is clean, well-lit, well-organized, doesn't smell bad, and has a minimum of riff raff customers. Four to five stars. 2. Service: I have been shopping here for over seven years, spent thousands of dollars, and they still treat me like a stranger. If you are looking for a broad selection of wines, this is the place to go. They even have wines that aren't sold in all the liquor stores, and also some mixes not sold everywhere - like the Monin sangria syrups (love the Blackberry Sangria Mix!). The store is conveniently located, in a plaza across from Hannaford's Supermarket, parking is easy, and the staff are always willing to help, if you can't find something or have any questions. This is my go-to liquor store in greater Lowell. Over the past 5 or so years I've been going here they have really expanded their beer offering, which is the best part about this place for me. They also have a comprehensive liquor selection and while I'm not a wine aficionado I'm told by those who are that their wine selection is good. I've found the staff to be helpful and friendly, but they don't tend to come find you in the store and ask if they can help. I'm okay with that personally. It's very organized such that like things are together and products are easy to find. They also carry a wide variety of brands, for instance, within categories of liquors. Only suggestion is that they could use a better website and online presence that showcases their inventory or pushes out info on recent additions to their selections. read more

NEVER AGAIN will I give these people my money. Bear in mind I've gone into this liquor store numerous times and have never been ID'd before at all. Went in tonight and was offered a free alcoholic sample as soon as I walked in the door with my twin sister. Got to the register and not only were we both ID'd but we got a very dirty look and once over from the cashier. I explained I left my mine at home but I've been here before also my twin had her ID. She was very rude and had horrible customer service in general - went back just to show her my ID and got just as HORRIBLENESS customer service from the older guy at the cashier. I am going to start off by saying that I look really young for my age. I first came to this store 4 years ago and I had a Vermont Drivers Licensee, I was 22 at the time. They refused to sell to me, making up a "store rule" saying they didn't accept out-of-state licensees if you were under 25. (I know stores can make up rules, but this was bulls***) So we decided to shop at other locations. During the past 4 years we stop by from time to time because we found they have a pretty good selection and it's the closest to our house. Every time my boyfriend and I went in to get alcohol they treated him like a regular customer, but then they would look down at me and demand to see my ID, which I handed over gladly and smiled. Today I went in there by myself just one stop on my many errands I had to run. I went in and the people behind the counter kept their eyes on me the whole time and from time to time they would walk by me. I get to the counter and the old man behind rudely demands to see my ID, I said, "Surely" smiled and gave it to him. he stood there holding in his hand, first looking at it then at me. He hands it back and begrudgingly starts ringing up my items and hands me my receipt. I say, "Have a nice day" to which he mumbles "yeah sure". I'm 26 years old. 26. I should not be treated this way by anyone. So, I will be taking my business elsewhere. Shame. read more

This store is pretty much as good as it gets. They have an excellent selection of wine, beer and liquor. The employees are generally nice and helpful. Their prices are pretty competitive and they usually have good sales. Did I mention how they have everything? They do not take returns on spoiled merchandise. This is store policy. We bought a six pack of Namaste (probably $15) and opened it that night. Very much skunked. The beer selection is very good but more expensive than it needs to be. Without quality service I cannot justify giving them my business anymore. read more
