If I could give this zero stars I would.. The lady that was working was amazing great customer service but the owners are extremely disrespectful to their workers and customers. I'm very disappointed on what I saw but if you're not about great customer service and just care about the food they have okay options I got the paletas Great flavor. Got a piña Loca there last Sunday 5/1 and woke Monday sick. Didn't think much of it till my wife called me from work felling sick also. Figured it was just upset stomach until I couldn't handle the stomach pains. Went to Dr and I had food poisoning. Went to pick up food at close to their closing time. He tried to tell my friend to leave because they were sitting there eating McDonald's before buying some of their best ice cream. AVOID AVOID AVOID It seems like the women working there care only about watching their novellas instead of helping you. I was very specific, my gf and I were gonna split the bill, and we ordered a total of 6 chamango mix. The girl who helped me asked again what I wanted and I told her a CHAMANGO MIX. I don't know how hard it was to hear me, I said it like 3 times. Then she asked me if I wanted it on a plate or in a cup and to my confusion I said cup. Because you're supposed to eat it in a cup? And that's what I thought I was getting but noooooooo...comadre over there was so distracted watching novellas on their TV they have in there that she was making me some strawberry desert. And when she made it I told her that's not what I ordered. And she told me it was and I was like no I ordered a chamango mix. Then she went to her manager I'm guessing and she came and said "I also heard you saying that you wanted that strawberry desert." I told her that I WANTED A CHAMANGO MIX how was that so hard to understand? In the end she looked irritated and said, "Next time you need to make up your mind on what you order." I told her that I did and that they need to pay better attention. I was not about to pay for something that they messed up on. Finally when it came time to paying, they charged all 6 chamango mix on one bill. I told the manager there that my gf and I were going to split it. She sighs and then tells me "You need to tell us before you order." I told her I DID, THAT WAS THE FIRST THING I TOLD YOU GUYS UPON WALKING IN. My gf was already frustrated with them so we just paid them and walked out, never to return again. It's a shame since we liked coming to this place before but now it's not the greatest. If anyone does happen to come in here just make sure it's not around 7pm because that's usually when the novellas come on and the women there get too distracted. The woman who helped me today was nice, productive, and efficient. She had me out of there within ten minutes of placing my order. I ordered a chamango especial, a chamango regular, and a cocktel de fruta. Honestly I looove the ice cream here and it was one of the first places in Madera to open a store with this type of ice cream.I've never had a bad experience as far as costumer service goes. I can only speak on my experience, but I feel that the customer service given to me today was exceptional! Will be coming back for sure! read more

Been driving past this place all summer, finally went in with my kid. Great alternative to your regular ice cream. They sell Mexican style "helados" which is basically ice cream. It's a little less milky than American ice cream, more along the lines of gelato. The pistachio flavor is excellent, actually has pistachios in it! You can get two small scoops on a cone for $2 or in a cup for $2.50. I asked for one scoop for my toddler and they charged me $1.50. They also sell fresh cut fruit, sundaes, parfaits and a few other things. Only inconvenience is that they are cash only. read more

They have great stuff here! But their customer service is awful. The two girls that work there were very rude. My partner and I ordered some mangonadas and we were buying a total of 6. But he was going to pay for 3 and I was paying for the other 3. He told the first girl 3 orders of mangonadas and while she's making those the other girl asked what we wanted and she spoke Spanish so I let my boyfriend do the talking since I do not speak Spanish. Apparently this girl thought we ordered a different item and decided to make the wrong thing. But wanted to BLAME US FOR NOT ORDERING CORRECTLY. and once we went to go pay we asked the other lady why they put a strawberry ice cream or whatever it was called in the cup holders and we told them that's not what we ordered. They were both so rude and the other girl said we ordered the strawberry flavor and we said no we did not. And my partner explained to them that that is not what we ordered that maybe she heard us wrong. But they were both being so rude and the other lady kept repeating " you guys need to let us know what you're ordering " and my partner told her that we did tell her. And she was all " well it seems like you guys told her you wanted strawberry " and we kept telling her that was NOT OUR ORDER. THIS WENT ON FOR A GOOD WHILE AND WHEN WE WERE PAYING SHE GAVE AN ATTITUDE ABOUT THE FACT THAT WE DID NOT TELL HER WE WERE PAYING SEPARATE FOR THE STUFF. BUT WE DID MENTION THAT TO HER ONCE THEY GOT THE WRONG Order!! WE TOLD HER THAT I AM PAYING FOR HALF AND HES PAYING THE OTHER HALF. I PERSONALLY FELT SO UNCOMFORTABLE AS DID MY PARTNER BECAUSE OF HOW RUDE SHE WAS AND HOW UNPROFESSIONAL SHE WAS. SHE DID NOT HEAR US OUT AND BASICALLY WAS BLAMING US FOR GIVING THEM THE WRONG ORDER WHEN CLEARLY WE DID NOT. THAT WAS NOT OK. I WORK IN RETAIL AND WE DO NOT TREAT PEOPLE LIKE THAT. I WILL NOT BE COMING BACK TO THIS PLACE THAT IS FOR SURE. I do not recommend it to anyone because there customer service is terrible and whoever hired those two girls should really re consider having them there.
