Had the pleasure of having Sno Cafe today for Administrative Professionals day. My work gave us free sno cone tickets so I decided to stop by the truck in our parking lot. I honestly cannot remember the last time I had a Sno cone. Looking back, I did try them almost 10 years ago at Enzo's table! I'm not usually one to crave shaved ice but Sno Cafe does things differently. The ice is very soft, so those with sensitive teeth could enjoy it. I went the safe route and got the vanilla orchid flavor. What I liked the most is that it does not taste artificial at all. High quality flavors and textures with beautiful presenation. I think the last time I had shaved ice was before the pandemic. So quite awhile ago. I was excited to try their stuffed 'snoballs' (as they call them) with ice cream! I ordered the blackberry cobbler. The ice was very fine and fluffy and melted nicely in my mouth. The blackberry flavor was good, not too sweet. I enjoyed the ice cream at the bottom! The nice lady serving us was all by herself! She did a fantastic job! They have some seating inside and some outside. Just not a lot of tables. I'd definitely go again! The Sno Café has perfected the craft of making snowcones. The ice they use is almost fluffy and never fuse-freezes. So, when you got to bite down on a flavor filled syrup cluster, no teeth are in danger of being cracked. This was my first time enjoying the Sno Café and it was via their food truck at the Fresno Grizzlies opening weekend. My kids went for classic flavors like cherry, pineapple, and grape, but opted for the ice cream filled snowball. I ordered birthday cake flavor? and it was incredible! I'm not sure what I was expecting, I thought "ice cream filled" was just a fun plan words. Nope! There was a full hardy scoop of vanilla ice cream in the middle of this snow cone. What an amazing pairing. Once the ice cream made its debut and I showed my kids, they snatched my treat and devoured it... I don't blame them. I visited a truck they had in River Park while ordering was easy. The service was great. Just the product wasn't good. We got three different snow cones. One of them was the cheesecake. I believe a lavender one and a sugar-free one my sugar-free one tasted like wax like it was horrible . I've never eaten anything like that and I even asked if I could sample the syrup just to see what the taste would be like and they don't do that, but the fact that you even felt like wax was weird, my friend got the lavender one. It was really pretty. It smelled nice, but hers also tasted like wax. It was just weird, but then our friend who got the strawberry one it was fine. The ice was fine. It tasted like strawberrythe other ones we ended up throwing away. I wouldn't go back here again. Worth a try. This place is different than those that serve shaved ice. So don't this mixed up. The consistency is comparable to eating flavored snowball. There used to be another place in the area that served this but was shut down during the pandemic. So I ordered the strawberries and cream. It was first fill with a strawberry filling in the bottom and then the shaved snow was put on top of that. It was drenched with a condense milk and a strawberry filling syrup. Then it was topped with a strawberry. It was nice and light compared to ice cream. The service was quick and the atmosphere is small but cute. I'd recommend a try. I will be back. read more

The shaved ice here was so delightful! The texture was very fine and soft, it is not anything like what you usually think the texture of shaved ice is! We got the flavors, strawberry short cake and Kuppa joy, and they were both so delicious! I especially liked the whip cream garnish, it tasted very fresh. The Kuppa joy was my favorite cuz not only did it have the cream but it also had a chocolate and Carmel drizzle and chocolate bits on it! It was such a dynamic flavor. The staff were friendly and quick to make our order. There was minimal seating and tables inside, it is not recommended for big groups. The noise levels were low so it was a great place for my friend and I to catch up one-on-one. This location has plenty of parking since it is in a shopping plaza and shares a parking lot with many stores. Fave dessert in Fresno! Sno Cafe snow cones are SO GOOD. They mean it when they say they have gourmet shaved ice! Idc how full I am, I am always down for Sno Cafe. Sno Cafe - arguably the most popular local spot for snow cones - opened its storefront today! It is located on the southeast corner of N. Willow Avenue and W. Ness Avenue. Just in time for those who want to avoid the long lines at the food truck during the hot summer months. They still have their food truck, so check the website for the dates, times, and locations. My usual order is between the Rainbow and Orange Creamsicle. I always get the Stuffed Sno Ball with vanilla ice cream on the bottom of the cup, topped with whipped cream, a sour taffy, or a small orange wedge. Expect the same friendly service as you have come to appreciate from the food truck, but they have hired additional helpers in anticipation of the longer lines in this shop. I am so happy they opened their first storefront. The timing could not have been better as the temperatures outside hit three digits. read more

My partner really wanted a snow cone so we drove 15 min to this cafe, the cafe was very clean. Cashier was nice as well proceeded to order just 1 watermelon ice. We waited 10 min because there was a family ahead of us as each family member was getting their cone they stepped outside but when it came to the last member, apparently he ordered the same as us. Therefore the cashier set 2 watermelon ices on the counter and just shouted "watermelon ice", the boy proceeds to take both and we think nothing of it. We still continue to wait for our order another 6 minutes now outside because it was very hot inside. I proceeded to say I think they forgot our order. Then the Mother of the family then says "what did you order" and we tell her...of course it's our order. Half melted and bitten into! She gives it to us and my husband at this point is over it and throws it in the trash. Cashiers were distracted chatting to each other and not proper communication! We went this past weekend and they did not disappoint. The employees are always really friendly and accommodating. The sno cones are just as delicious or maybe even better. This cute truck was our favorite treat last night! We love snow cones but try not to eat them often because of the syrups. But it was definitely a nice treat. I ordered the Stuffed Snobal- Rootbeer float. Flavor was delicious and I was able to taste the flavor throughout the snowcone. I wasn't just eating ice up top and the syrup on the bottom. Throughout the snow cone, it was soft and fluffy. I didn't hurt my teeth by chewing on hard pieces of ice like from other snow cone places. Service was friendly and they made them quick. It's great that they use biodegradable and 100% compostable cups but it was bad for me. I couldn't eat my snow cone fast enough. So my cup got soggy and I guess my spoon tore through. Next time I'll have to eat it faster or be more careful. read more

The dude and I came to the Sno Cafe on 09/04/20 as we previously seen the Sno Cafe have long lines when we would go out to the food trucks. I am not a big Shaved Ice fan by any means so I would not initiate to go as I am an ice cream and frozen yogurt chick. Anywho, the line of people finally got to me and I told the dude the next time the Sno Cafe is out we have to try them as they look super good and unique. The day we went we got to see the owner which she was trying her best to keep the bees away from their colorful beautiful truck! The bees were pretty scary as they were flying and landing on us patrons and the dude was trying his best to help me not freak out. Don't get me wrong I love bees! Just don't swarm me! Anywho, the line was not too bad as the recent street eats event we went to. The lavender lemonade was calling my name and I ended up getting the stuffed Lavender Lemonade which is stuffed with ice cream. It was delicious. I usually don't get whipped cream but I wanted to try it first as it's originally made and it was good. I will opt for no whip next time especially if I get a Stuffed one. I highly recommend the lavender lemonade as it was delicious and I felt fancy haha the dude ended up getting the strawberry shortcake which was yummy! Real strawberries and real short cake. However his was super messy. As these Sno's melt so fast!!! The ice WAS magically soft which I LOVE the texture it was the best shaved ice I got in my life coming from this cute truck! As I am writing this review I am craving their Sno treats! If you have not tried this yummy summer or all around treat you are missing out on Fresno/Clovis gems! We were super disappointed when we had to cancel our upcoming Hawaii vacation. One of our favorite activities in seeking out the best shaved ice on the islands. The biggest difference between the great shaved ice and everyone else is the ice, it should melt as it touches your tongue not require your teeth to break apart, and sno cafe has mastered the difference. Beyond the ice the majority of the syrups taste fresh and not artificial. My first time there I had the pineapple mango chamoy and I thought I was hooked and going to keep getting it. On a last minute change I switched to the Georgia sunset the next time and now do not know what to order they are both amazing. My daughter loves the strawberry and refuses to get anything else. Still love this place, but time for an update since we've tried more flavors. Rankings~ Orange Creamsicle - Yum! We both liked this one a lot. Just right on the flavor, not too light not too strong. Key Lime Pie - Husband liked, I thought it was OK. I can't decide if I like the key lime but probably a good choice if you like key lime pie in general. Kuppa Joy - OK, I thought this was good but coffee lover husband wasn't impressed, probably not a great choice if you like coffee and strong flavors, the flavor was too delicate for hubs. Strawberry Shortcake - If I had to choose, this one was my least favorite so far. We felt it tasted kind of artificial. It wasn't bad, but the other flavors are better in my opinion. Definitely want to try more flavors. However Lavender Lemonade is still my favorite ;) read more
