Bravo! I'm glad I took a picture of the Pizza booth that we ordered the pizza from-- at the Evanelle Vineyards during one of the movie nights! I would never have remembered, nor realized, it was a cake shop!! Didn't know there was a physical shop as well lol so hopefully I can check that out one of these days... I've got a major sweet tooth! First and foremost, the man behind the booth! My sister and I took notice of how well he did on his own on the last night we were there (watching The Notebook)... he remembered faces and what they ordered. He walked the orders over to them once their pizzas were ready... and he does a damn good job with the pie! Those pizzas are always nicely done and yummy! Because of this-- it's exactly why I took a picture so that I would remember to come back and give the man his flowers... this wasn't our first time either-- he deserves it! It may be a small wait but if you're ordering pizza-- why would you ever expect it right away? Duh. Plus, you know it's fresh when you do finally receive it. I've been wanting to try this restaurant for some time and finally dropped by. Owner was very friendly, we ordered a California pizza . Sat down to wait, place is clean and has some nice logo mats. 12/31/24 They are open now. Called and asked and the worker was very kind and said yes. Arrived! Nice atmosphere! Calm & low key with music playing. Ended up ordering a Matcha with oat milk and their blueberry cheese cake for New Year's dinner tomorrow! Paid for it and the cheesecake was bagged and handed over. Horrible service, I was gifted gender reveal cakes two times from this place and both times the cake had cracks or you were able to see the gender. Very disappointing. I was hoping my second time to be nice but no! It was worse. The coloring of the cake was literally melting. I placed the cake in the fridge right away when I got home and once I took it out the coloring was on the outside. On top of that the lady blamed me saying I left it outside which was not the case at all! Why would I want to ruin my own gender reveal. They "proudly" brew peets but nothing like peets, was overpriced in my opinion. $7.09 for an horchata cold brew the smallest size. Sadly I drink too much coffee, lots of cold brew....lots, I asked if it was sweet she said no turns out to be sweet, very sweet. Nothing like horchata it's just coffee with lots of milk, sugar and a bunch of cinnamon on top. Drank less than half and tossed the rest. Maybe the food is good. But not the coffee. read more

Truly a hidden gem in downtown Madera! The coffee shop feels like you're transported to one in the bay! The owners are so kind! There is always plenty of parking when I go & their food is so delicious! I looove that they use Peet's coffee! They serve artisan pizza, sandwiches, cakes-- even slices! Went during lunch time on a week day. Ordered an artisan pizza and it was amazing. What I really appreciated, was the owner overheard me talking about a diet restriction I had, but I told her "it's okay" because I wanted my partner to order the kind of pizza they wanted. Well, she actually made a small adjustment and made us a DELICIOUS pizza that was a variation of the chicken bacon ranch. The pizza was so good, my entire family wanted to go back to order another but it was past closing time. I will definitely go back to have cake and coffee one of these days. The inside/seating area has a ton of potential for hosted luncheons, small bridal showers, things like that. The decoration is nice, it's very spacious inside, and it's perfect for a small event/party in my opinion. WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!!! I placed an order with this bakery 1 MONTH in advance for my daughter's first birthday, my husband goes to pick up the cake just for the store owner to tell us she has no record of our order!! I went in person myself to place the order of the cake and show her a picture of what I wanted, she gave me a quote and said it was in the books. I left a $30 deposit and she DID NOT give us a refund for the inconvenience because her "records" didn't go back that far. My husband calls me so I can speak with her and I was telling her the details which we had discussed about my order the day of and the store owner acted like she did not have anything on her calendar or order book, 10 minutes into the conversation she suddenly remembers the order and who I was. She says she is unable to make the cake now because it's last minute( WHEN WE PLACED AN ORDER A MONTH AHEAD) and if we wanted to wait 3 hours for a new one she would have to charge us more than the original price she told me because of THEIR inconvenience! I was looking forward to this cake for my daughter's first birthday and everything just went so wrong with this place. Very disappointed with this establishment and the woman that owns this place.
