But the grocery aisle was packed with a great assortment of all the stuff you need to prepare those authentic Mexican and Latino recipes in your cookbooks - and can never find in the local Safeway. And it was all very reasonably priced. Lily also had some fresh produce like carrots, tomatoes, avocados, peppers, herbs, and even nopale cactus paddles. There were bins of fresh bakery stuff as well. Recommended.

It's a small, but tidy store with wide aisles. The majority of the food and ingredients are Indian, and I was excited to find some tandoori spice mix. Close inspection of the cooking directions gave me a chuckle... a simple typo suggests that I must drain the life juice out of someone... truthfully, I have a long list of potential donors. Hee. They also have a nice sized bathroom, which saved my day, and I couldn't have appreciated it more. The fellow behind the counter seemed to be the only employee present. He was friendly and fun. I appreciated that, as well. A fun little detour. Always recommend those.
