Bottom line: Amazing job. Even more amazing customer service. The long version: Moved to Bothell at the end of June. Had a painter lined up for a month who confirmed the night before and then never showed. Other painters were too busy to fit me in (full interior paint job) and it looked like I was going to have to wait until Fall and live will lime green and navy blue walls (fire engine red closet too - ouch). I contacted Bryan and told him my sad story and he came over two days later to scope out the job. He found a way to fit me in and his crew spent last week painting here. They were polite, funny, very professional, and hustled like crazy. The foreman, Raffa, is a quiet man that really knows what he is doing and orchestrates the team with great skill. He and Kyle are the main painters and both are very bright, have lots of experience painting, are eager to please and are full of smiles. Carey and Cameron were great too - so friendly and accommodating - and helping in whatever way was needed. Whenever I expressed a preference, they honored it immediately. They never took short cuts or made excuses. Bryan would come by often and check on things, bring supplies, handle any issue, etc. He stayed informed and connected. The entire group operated like a well-oiled machine. They even offered to help me with a non-painting project during their breaks (for free). Oh - and, best of all, the paint job turned out beautifully! I now have crisp demarcation lines between colors and no random drips or scars to my wood floors or trim. I had a vision of what having a crew here full time for a week might be like - I would have to watch to see that they didn't try to hide screw ups; if I left, the work pace might slow; they would get done later than promised and the job would cost more than estimated. I just felt so jaundiced after my experience with the first painter. I am so happy to have those negative assumptions blown apart. I trusted Bryan and every one of his crew immediately and was completely comfortable having them in my home. I never had to worry about the quality of the work - never looked over my shoulder or found icky surprises. I've got to say, the work that these guys do is impeccable. When a good friend of mine was moving last week, I didn't hesitate to recommend them, because the quality and attention to detail is that good. When I heard back from my friend that the experience from start to finish was the best, I wasn't surprised. Not even for a second. Because Bryan takes the time to go through what you want out of the experience (and yes, painting can be an emotional experience), it really goes the extra step in easing your worries about wondering if you picked the right color, or if the finish will turn out alright. Bryan worked with my budget to produce astounding results! I know he has experience with exteriors as well, and after a few years of Seattle's finest rain and tortuous, inclement weather, it looks as if the job was finished yesterday. After hearing back from the owner, he has satisfactorily explained what occurred and why he was unable to respond to my initial request. Sadly Yelp stated that he did business as far north as Everett, but he is unable to come this far out. He was very professional however in his explanation and seemed to be genuinely sorry for the delay in response and even more sorry that after the long wait he won't be able to assist me with this project. *original review* I hate to give a negative review to a company that seems to be doing good. My review is simply based on their lack of response to my query for work. I sent a request to them on 5/8 asking if someone could give me a quote for some work around my house. I never received a response from them. If the owner/manager/rep sees this review and responds I am willing to still have them come out and give a quote and I will update the rating accordingly. Since they have so many positive reviews I am definitely willing to give them a chance. It's possible my request got lost somewhere along the line, and if that's the case I want to give them a fair chance. read more

High quality and excellent customer service. Stained our deck and painted our, bathroom and accent wall. My wife couldn't have been happier! I don't know much about paint/ing, but my wife is high maintenance, and if she is happy with the job Bryan's team did, then I can't imagine anyone who could be disappointed with this work. His project came in slightly below bid, which was a great plus. Bryan uses high quality paint so you can get it done right first and not have to repaint in or restain very soon. A+! read more

I'm extremely picky (some might call it OCD) and I picked Bryan because it seemed like he was the same way. His crew was solid. Always showed up right on time. I had Reynolds Custom Painting do a job for me that involved three walls, a powder room and the kitchen area aiound the cabinets. They did a very good job, however, I am unhappy with the price I paid. Bryan estimated two coats, with him to furnish the paint @ $800.00. That seemed high but I went ahead and contracted him. They ended up doing one coat, used a couple of gallons of high quality paint and spent a total of 10 man hours on the job. I Told Bryan that I would not write a review on yelp because I was happy with the work I told him I was very unhappy with the price. He agreed to send me a breakdown of cost to justify this high bill. I have not heard back from him, and therefore I feel that this review might help somebody to not be overcharged as I was. 1 coat instead of 2 is half the work and paint cost. I got a call from Bryan yesterday, June 16th with a breakdown of cost which I had requested when he did the job. He said I was charged $60.00 per hour. I think this is too high for licensed painters. I would suggest that anyone who chooses to use Reynolds get an hourly rate estimate. My bid was for two coats, one coat was done which is half the man hours and cost of materials. read more
