Tiny home painted on the outside. Mario and his partner did an excellent job painting. He said they would be here at 8am and that's exactly what time they were here. Powered washed the outside/caulked everything/taped everything off and painted. Made sure everything was put back just like it was before. The painting company owner came to me house today morning and threatened me that I was a cheap person who was paying him less that what he wants. The painting company owner had agreed to the price before he showed up on my property and he had not started the job and he was still trying to force me to pay more for the job. Please stay away from such aggressive and underhanded tactic employing painters. These are not people you can safely allow to enter your home. The paint company owner kept shouting on my property and I had to tell him that I may call the cops if he does not leave. Only after that did he or his crew leave and even then he said that the cops cannot do anything. I would never recommend them to anyone. Pease beware. read more

my experience with All cities painting is the worst that I have ever had contractor. This is saying something my husband and I are real estate investors that consistently have . Mario is dishonest, and his work sucks. Please do yourself a favor and find somebody else. Nobody can be as bad as Mario, or as much of a liar. his crew failed complete the work according to the contract, and the standards of the trade. We painting done, and Mario painted with a color other than what we asked for. He also painted with a sheen that was different than we asked for. Additionally, he sprayed paint on the exterior without even back, rolling or brushing into the cracks. spots that were not primed before he painted. He did not do what he said he would do in the contract. His contract is also lacking in clarity. He uses this to his advantage when he lies, and performs work that is faster and below that which was discussed. Be prepared to protect yourself from this liar. read more

I was extremely pleased with this company. This is as good as it gets and I am recommending them to all of my neighbors. I don't think you need to look anywhere else. I hired them to paint the exterior of the house and do some siding upgrades to the chimney. Mario came out to look at the house on time and with a mask. He was very communicative, prompt and friendly. He gave me an estimate quickly and got started working a week earlier than expected. The work went extremely quickly. His carpenter expertly removed all of the chimney siding and even replaced some structural work that had rotted. At the same time, Mario and Edwin pressure washed and caulked the entire house. Edwin and Mario were fantastic. They responded quickly when we requested an estimate on our exterior paint job, and followed through within a couple days. Our sad-looking backyard deck must have been calling out for help, because they also mentioned they could restain it. We asked to include the details in the bid. They visited our place and provided a bid within 24 hours. Their reasonable price was lower than the other estimate we received, and we were frankly so pleased with the customer service that we may have chosen them anyway had the estimates been reversed. The job was scheduled a few weeks out, with plans for a day of pressure washing followed by a few days of sanding and prepping, painting, and then deck staining. We missed a day of prep work due to rain (and we were contacted to confirm that inclement weather did not permit work), but otherwise Edwin and Mario were here as promised, and worked throughout the day, each day they were on site. I suspect every job is unique in some way, shape our form. How was our project unique? Chickens. Yes, we have five of them, and they're really cute. They are fenced off in a separate side yard, and I was really impressed that Mario & Edwin were able to get into the challenging area to apply paint without disturbing the hens. As the jobs were wrapping up, Edwin brought up the need to do a walk-around. We were very satisfied with the work, and there was no need for touch-ups, but it was great that he was proactive about it. In the end, we found Edwin and Mario to be conscientious, hard working, friendly, and professional, and we wouldn't hesitate to recommend them. read more

Several years ago I requested a bid from these guys, which they provided. I was very impressed with Edwin. Unfortunately, in the following weeks some financial changes occurred that prevented me from moving forward. Flash forward and I now have the money to get the job done. I emailed Edwin and requested a new bid. When I didn't hear back from him, I emailed him again. Still no response. I then came to Yelp to look them up and see if they were still in business. Upon finding them, I requested a bid. Yelp asked if I wanted to have others bid too and thinking that All Cities Painting might be out of business, I said yes. When Edwin arrived on Saturday to look at the house, we talked for a bit about what I needed and one of the other contractors showed up. Edwin was very visibly perturbed and told me he was going to take a look around. He left without checking back in with me. Tonight, having not received a bid from them yet, I reached out to check and see when I could expect it. I received a note from Mario that since this was the third bid on my house, they were going to charge me $150 to get the bid. So first of all, this was the second bid over several years, not the third and then I am expected to PAY THEM to bid on painting my house? These guys are very disreputable and obviously don't believe customers should get more than one bid. PLEASE DO NOT USE THEM. read more

We recently hired All Cities Painting to paint the interior of our 3200 square foot home in July. Mario responded to my inquiry within a few hours and was out the next day to give us a quote. Within a few minutes of talking with him about the work we wanted done, I felt very comfortable that he had the skill and knowledge to complete the job in a timely manner. He took time to show us examples of other homes they had painted recently and suggested possible colors. In addition, his quote was lower than one other contractor (2 other contractors failed to snow for their appointments!) I was pleased that Mario and his crew could start the following week. They completely repainted the inside of my house a few years ago, refreshed wood work and a cedar fireplace surround. Mario came and walked the outside of my place . Noticed that the south facing part of my place had worn faster than he was comfortable with. We hired All Cities Painting to paint walls and some ceilings in our house. Edwin was quickly available to give us an estimate. He was flexible on what paint to use, which we appreciated. Communication and hashing out the exact job details were a breeze. Mario and Edwin showed up on time. While Edwin was finishing the contract with my wife, Mario started to take off all outlet and light switch covers, exactly as planned. They did a great job taping everything up, patched up a few screw holes, and even sanded down an area where someone had written something in paint. Excellent job. The two two quality layers of paint look great. The entire house looks great. They also finished a little ahead of schedule -- three days were planned, but the third day was really just touch-up and cleanup. What was the best, though, was again the communication. Every evening before they left, Edwin walked the house with my wife and pointed out things they had noticed and that they were still going to do. There were no surprises. For example, because previous painters had done a bad job of painting our door trim, when Edwin and Mario removed some of the painters' tape, some paint came off. Edwin brought paint that closely matched the old paint to cover up the problem, even though it really wasn't their fault, and recommended that we should get some of that paint ourselves. We had Mario and his crew paint the inside of our home 2-3 years ago and we were very happy with the job. We just had him paint the exterior and are again very happy! He was quick to respond, we settled on timing and a reasonable price via text after he saw the home again, and they came out in the time frame quoted. They were set to start on a Saturday, but it was raining buckets, so we pushed to Monday and got a decent weather window. They prepped a week prior and the painting itself took 2.5 days. The crew was very easy to have around the house and dogs. Painting the exterior of the house is a job I could do, but it would take forever and look like I painted it. I hired All Cities Painting to paint the interiors of my condo. Mario was extremely responsive from the initial inquiry to the estimate through scheduling the actual job. They were able to squeeze the work into their schedule to meet my desired timeline of having the work completed quickly. The work included the removal of a chair rail, patching/retexturing the walls underneath, and removing some trim. The texture work they did to the walls is seamless and you can't tell the chair rail was ever there. Mario and Edwin did a terrific job with the painting of all walls and trim in all of the rooms and ensuring all of the furniture and electronics were protected over the 2 days. Mario Hernandez and his team recently painted the entire interior of my condo. Their workmanship is excellent and the result was beautiful! I couldn't be more pleased with how everything looks. We installed a spruce shiplap wood wall in our master bedroom recently and wanted a special paint treatment on the wall. I showed Mario the inspiration picture I had found on Pinterest and he was able to create the exact look I wanted. I love how that wall looks!!
