The worst OBGYN EVER!!!! The nurses were moving like they were high on drugs. We were literally the first on the list and the nurses called everyone else first. Even one of the receptionist, when we notified her, went off on the nurses in the back wondering why they never called us and we were first on the list. Not only that but the nurses were making us feel uncomfortable asking my wife if she did drugs and when she said know her and another nurse just looked at each other and smiled. She was treating my wife like she was incompetent asking her the same questions slowly and slower each time. Man oh man am I glad to finally stop having to go to my appointments with Ahmadinia. I did a review before and spoke about his weirdness when he called my less than 1 year old daughter "sexy" and on how out of all the times I went in to see him, only ever seen him less than a few times which didn't make me feel at ease. Anywho, the end of my pregnancy was crazy and the last time I saw him was when he barely glimpsed at me at the hospital and how awkward it had felt. I know for a fact that him/his staff saw my review because about three to two weeks before I had given birth, I got a phone call from his office and even a private call that was blocked from them telling me how I couldn't come in to my appointment anymore with my child. Instead of him apologizing or even saying anything about his "sexy" comment about my child, I get told that I cannot bring her in with me or I can't go to my appointments anymore. The lady at the reception on the call literally even mentioned that it was because of my review. That was so weird and honestly after that phone call and the next two appointments, I had no intention of coming back. I could tell and feel when he saw me in the hospital that the vibes were off and he sounded short with me as if I was in the wrong. What grown adult man calls a minor child sexy?! I'm definitely not in the wrong for that. Anywho, to anyone that reads this, steer clear of him. Everyone else there is nice but he is a fake as it gets in my opinion. Additionally, when I went to an appointment I had for NSTs, I met a woman who also dealt with Ahmadinia. She mentioned that when she went he was rude and off putting with her as well and very short and this was based off of about two appointments she had had with him. She was early enough in her pregnancy to get to change OBGYNs luckily but I was too late into mine that I didn't want to risk having to search for another. Anywho, be that as it may, he's not all he is cracked up to be and I think there's way better OBs than him. He may have up to date equipment and be in a better area but he is not someone I'd recommend whatsoever. That staff totally saves it for him. He's just a plain old creep imo. read more

Hands down the best Gynecologist I've ever had! He is nice, polite, truly knowledgeable and very patient. He listens, and pays attention as well. I was nervous going to him and I had a very embarrassing diagnosis and he made me feel confident in my situation and not so depressed. He gave me choices to treat my situation and he doesn't force unnecessary procedures for a buck more! He is a genuine trustworthy doctor. His staff is wonderful and always smiling. The office is beautiful and super clean. The entire experience was calming. I have seen him about 4-5 times now and each time I feel so relieved by his professionalism and his character. I cannot give him enough stars to show how THANKFUL I AM to finally find a good, moral valued doctor. He has 2 locations one in Rancho Cucamonga, California and one in Apple Valley California. He's one of the worst Dr.'s I've ever dealt with. Yelling across his office discussing things in my chart that no one needed to know about. Never once saw him or met him, the 4 times I was there I saw someone new each time. I don't recommend him if you're not pregnant. I was mostly seen by the PA Michelle she was very nice, answered my questions, by the end of pregnancy I was being seen by Dr Reza he's nice but I don't like that they tell you they're gonna do something instead of asking for consent first, I was not in favor of a Cervical check at 37 wks since I never had one with my 1st pregnancy. & also didn't like that Dr Reza only does M-F deliveries, so if you give birth on the weekend good luck especially at St Mary, worst pt care there. Anyway the staff there can come off kinda rude since they're not very outgoing but some are nice. read more

I love this doctor so much! I've been pregnant 7 times and 8 babies, Ive experienced major heartache and he's always been there and is very supportive. Has a great office that clean and decorated beautifully He even saved my life when I needed emergency surgery. I trust this dr with my life! Horrible ending experience with Dr. Ahmadinia & his office. I became a patient with him when I got pregnant & have been traveling 45 minutes + for every appointment Which haven't been the best experience to begin with. With waits to be seen anywhere from 45-90 minutes each visit for 5 minutes tops of time with the doctor. Me and my partner at 31 weeks decided we wanted to deliver at a hospital that was closer for us due to obvious reasons of convenience/comfort being close to home. Once I informed Dr.Ahmadinia of this choice not only did he bash the facility I preferred, his demeanor changed right away with me & he threatened to not take me back as a patient if anything wasn't to his liking. I had the doctor I want to deliver with request my patient documentation since I am few weeks from delivery & when Dr.Ahmadinias office received this request his office called me & informed me that they will be canceling all my future appointments with them & will no longer see me as a patient. I tried explaining that the doctor was requesting them for birth plan only & they still proceeded to tell me that they are considering this as a "divorce" & will not continue to see me per the doctors instructions. I'm so very disappointed in this kind of behavior as I'm at the point in my pregnancy I was scheduled weekly appointments that I planned on attending & now I am without an Obgyn because I decided to give birth at a hospital that worked best for me & my family. I moved up here almost a year ago. I was worried about finding a good OB in the HD since I've heard all negative opinions. When I found Dr. Ahmadinia I thought, ok I'll take a gamble. I'm so glad I did. His staff is always so kind and polite. Dr. Ahmadinia is amazing!! This is my first pregnancy and he's always willing to answer all my questions and give me step by step instructions on how to have a comfortable pregnancy. My daughter is currently going to this doctor. She just had a baby 7 months ago and has the birth control Paraguard inserted. We called the office multiple times and have been to the ER twice. She is bleeding now and can barely walk because of the cramping pains. The ER doctor (both times) told her "you need to go see your OB that put that in to remove it." They will not touch it!! Just got off the phone again with their office and the PA only said "go to the ER". It has gotten worse the front office and the PA are aware of this and they set an appointment for 2 weeks out. (This all started 3 weeks ago) Not a OB Doctor I would recommend!!! Obviously this doctor is unsympathetic to his patients, and pushes them off to the ER, KNOWING the ER doctor keeps sending my daughter away stating, she needs to see her OB ASAP for him to remove it!! And the front office staff isn't very friendly or caring to the patients needs either! Any doctor who cares about their patients, in my book, should have staff that is at the very least friendly, and the doctor/ PA hasn't called to check on my daughter after knowing the issues She's having, he is responsible for my daughters well being with this birth control he inserted! Not to mention this has been going on now for 3 1/2 weeks! I suggest if your pregnant and needed OB care, see a doctor who cares and takes responsibility for his/her Update: my daughter had to see a different doctor (a general doctor) to finally remove the birth control he used on my daughter, he ended up cutting the string too short and she ended up getting an infection ! Thank God the other doctor removed it for her and put her on medication! I stand by what I say, he's very good at delivering babies but when it comes to the aftercare he's TERRIBLE!!! I am a nurse, so I tend to judge medical facilities a bit more harshly than most. My first issue was his staff, they are unprofessional and unpleasant to deal with. Always very rude and do not know what they should. The staff for some reason could never bother to learn my first name, even though it is not difficult. When I asked to be referred to as "Mrs. M" instead, they refused to do that as well, continuing to butcher my name every time I dealt with them. It is a small thing but it shows how uncaring the staff are. Dr Ahmadinia himself is also unaware of things he should know as an MD. Waiting times are ridiculous, I often waited an hour or more to see him. Patients would bring their entire families in with them to see the doctor. Not sure why you need your three children, husband, and mother with you at the doctor's office. Dr Ahamadinia claims to have been educated at Johns Hopkins but I cannot find evidence of this. He thinks that a woman with cervical cancer must have her entire cervix removed! I was very glad that my cancer was found while I was in another state with competent doctors! Ladies, you do NOT need to lose your cervix just because of cervical cancer, if he has told you this PLEASE seek out a new doctor! In addition to being my OBGYN he was also my primary MD. I began to suffer migraines and didn't respond to the first migraine medicine he tried me on. Since that was the case, he tried to refer me to a psychologist because he claimed I was schizophrenic. No history of mental illness in my family or myself, but I didn't respond to one migraine pill and I must be a crazy person. I managed to see a neurologist who found a migraine medicine that works for me. Ahmadinia is very much set in his ways, and is the kind of doctor who thinks "this pill works for everyone, if it didn't work for you you are lying/crazy". His bedside manner is poor, and I never really felt I could trust this doctor. He took me off of a medication I'd been on for years with no side effects because he "doesn't believe in it". He does not like being corrected and basically refused to see me or handle any of my prescriptions once he found out I was a nurse. I would definitely not refer anyone to this doctor. I would seek out second opinions if you are a current patient, or try to switch. This is a doctor who, I feel, is only in it for the money and how many patients he can go through as opposed to a doctor who genuinely cares about his patients. read more

This doctors office is a joke. First, let me mention the office staff. They are rude and incompetent. They lose paperwork and when they do get the paperwork you will not get a call about any of it. If you try to talk to them they act like you are an idiot for correcting them and doing their jobs for them. Their scheduling is a joke. They schedule you for one thing when you are there for something else. If you are having any kind of procedure done(beyond the usual pap) you have to be in a special room that has all the equipment needed for your procedure. If you are not scheduled correctly then you sit and wait even longer trying to be fit in to that room because if their mess up. The only way I ended up getting results was to get in their faces a little and be just as rude as they were and that is so not how I am. Im a patient person but enough is enough! The dr and the staff in the back arent much better. You will wait for hours only to be pushed around once you get back there by not only the vitals lady but the dr as well. Neither one of them listen to you. They want to get you in and get you out as soon as they can. The dr talks over you and never listens to your concerns or questions and then sends you on your way. Do yourself a favor and stay as far away from this dr and his staff as you can get. And yes, I do realize that I did not capitalize the D in dr, there is a reason for that and I think my review sums up why. Respect is earned, not given read more

I switched to this OBGYN office after leaving a nearby facility. I must say, the difference is well... refreshing. The doctor is knowledgeable, decisive, and all encompassing. I really like dealing with him, and although he's got a million patients in the waiting room, he answers every question you may have. The office staff is second to none. They are all personable, treat you wonderfully and explain everything. The common theme with them and the doctor is that everyone is incredibly thorough. Although the fees are just as high as the other office I left, the billing department comes and provides you with a full fee schedule tailored to your needs. You know what you'll be expected to pay and when. They answer all phone calls (quickly I might add), and they route any concerns you have to the doctor. I've always received a personable call back either from the doctor, or them relaying the doctor's information. There are PAs here at the office, so I do believe you see them from time to time. Although I've had 3 OB appointments now, and I've only seen the doctor. I'm super partial to him, so I hope I get to keep seeing him over my pregnancy. They have top notch equipment in the office, including a very advanced ultrasound machine. They even do NT ultrasounds for the mothers who are going through 1st and 2nd trimester screening. If you've had a baby before, you know that a doctor's office who does NT ultrasounds is EXTREMELY rare. Everyone I know, including myself, has had to go to a specialist to have this performed. Ultrasounds are done here on Saturday, and the ultrasound room has ample space to bring a family member or two. They also do 4D ultrasounds in the event you want to pay extra. On a regular OB visit, if they ever can't find the baby's heartbeat, they nab you and pull you immediately into the U/S room and perform a quick U/S. You never have to wonder if the baby is OK upon leaving their office. I do have one gripe. Only one so far, kinda amazing. Doctor's offices now do infant circumcision, as they are no longer done at the hospital. Office walls are very thin, and when a pregnant mom comes in for a prenatal appointment, we are all excited for what's next. To hear a blood curdling scream down the hall from an infant baby, we all know what's going on. COMPLETELY breaks our mommy/daddy hearts and changes the mood of our doctor appointments. Other than that, this office is a diamond in the rough in the desert. I couldn't be happier to have been referred there by friends. read more

I never had an actual doctor before so coming I did my research on plenty of OBGYNs around the city. This actually had better reviews than most. Dr. Ahmadina is great! I love him he's very sensitive to any subject and makes sure all your questions are answered and makes time for all his patients no rush no nothing, which is what I love. I would definitely recommend him to anyone and everyone. He's great. Sometimes when you call though smh they either never answer or your on hold FOREVER but at the end of the day it's worth it :). read more

I used to be a patient of Dr. A's but decided to switch to an obgyn in Loma Linda instead. Nothing against him I liked him a lot it was just time for a change. Around 15 weeks pregnant I informed his office of the change and that I wanted my records sent to my new doctor. I am considered a high risk patient so from 16 weeks to 36 weeks I am given a shot once a week to make sure I give birth at term. This shot takes a while to come in so he kindly let me come into his office once a week until my new OB had the shots. I've had 4 shots from them. So my new OB wanted me to call and see how many I had left with Dr. A because she didn't want to mess with the prescription for insurance reasons. I call and one of his lovely receptionists who has no personality and very rude so kindly informed me I can no longer go there anymore for shots and I am no longer their problem. But they couldn't tell me that the day before when i got my shot? And why does it matter to you people anyways my insurance pays for them? Funny thing is I called my insurance and they never received anything from them regarding these shots. That the paperwork they did put in kept getting rejected. Something on their end i guess. Hopefully they weren't dipping into some other high risks patient's stash. So now my new OB is in a bind and hopefully I can receive my next shot in time. They don't give a fuck about you here. Their wait times are horrible but always makes sure you pay their deductible on time. So you can receive mediocre service from his nurses and receptionist. If you enjoy having someone toy with your child's life this place is for you!!!! Thanks for nothing guys!!! Still shocking to me your #1 in the desert. The front staff/receptionists here cannot give you accurate information about insurance coverage. A month before choosing my ACA plan I called and asked which insurance plans they take. A woman told me, "all of them." I told her the specific ACA plan I was planning to purchase and she said the office accepted it. Fast forward a month later and a different receptionist told me that this doctor basically only takes employer-provided health insurance because they only take one medical provider group: Heritage. What? They are clueless and cannot give you accurate information on one of the most important issues. read more

This doctor is very insensitive and will cut you off for any little thing I was 22 weeks pregnant and he divorced me as a patient because I was having terrible ear issues and I called him a couple times to ask what I can use they called me back later that day and told me I need to find another OB!! Thankfully Dr. Aurora took me in as a patient as a lot of doctors won't do after a certain period of time !!!! If I could give zero stars I would!!!! I was referred to this OB/GYN by my primary doctor. Pregnancy is a beautiful thing but for some of us it can be a struggle and very heartbreaking at times, unfortunately for me and my husband we have suffered multiple losses through this journey and to find a dr who cares or is willing to help has been an even bigger struggle. Not only was dr Ahmadinia not helpful but I feel taken advantage of by him and his staff!!!! Me and my husband have one live child together and have since suffered three losses, at the time of my visit we had only suffered two losses. My primary doctor was very helpful and sent me for blood work and an ultrasound to see if she could find anything wrong, medically she was unable to go over my results with me which is why she referred me to this OB/GYN. After paying to see dr. Ahmadinia he spoke with me for maybe 3 min, he DID NOT go over any of my test result with me and when I asked about the results he said he didn't have them and that he doesn't feel the need to ask my primary doctor to send them over. He told me in his "opinion" (since he has never seen me before and knows none of my medical history)he doesn't see anything wrong with me and that he CAN NOT help me and sent me on my way. I was shocked and left his office in tears. Since then I have spoken to Erica in the billing department at his office and told her I was unhappy with my visit and told her everything that happen, she was incredibly rude and basically told me too bad and she would not help me ether. I now have to go through my insurance company to file against this office because I should not have to pay for this visit and neither should my insurance. It's sad that it's so hard to find a doctor that really cares and wants to help people and not just take your money. Since seeing dr. Ahmadinia I suffered another loss and my new OB/GYN did blood work and found that I had a progesterone imbalance which is why my body isn't supporting the pregnancies to full term, if dr Ahmadinia would have even looked over my blood work then just maybe he would have caught that and I wouldn't have had to suffered another loss. It's very unfortunate that he was unwilling to help me, I guess not all doctors want to help people. read more

Dr. Ahmadinia has taken care of me for many years, his office is clean and mellow there is a very relaxing athmosphere there. The staff are all extremely friendly and professional. If I can't get in to see him I have no problem booking an appointment with his PA. read more

There are a couple reasons I don't reccomend this physician or his office. 1) The staff was very rude both on the phone and in person. They were very condescending and treated me like I was an inconvenience to them. 2) The doctor was unbelievably rude and unprofessional. Before he would see me, he stuck his head in the door and very rudely told me that if I was there to discuss infertility that my insurance would not cover my appointment and he couldn't see me. I told him I was not there for that reason. He closed the door and I had to wait an additional 15-20 minutes for him to come back. When he did, he spoke over me, behaved very arrogantly, and boasted about being the only high risk OB in the high desert and that he fired patients for what he perceived as being too needy. I was not comfortable with him and will never go back. I'd rather travel down the hill to see someone. read more

I chose this doctor after my original Doctor, Dr.Moneke had switched to Desert Valley. I should have chose Ahmadinia to begin with! First of all, the wait times to be seen are not long at all! Longest I've waited to be seen was about 15min passed my appointment time, which is good! Secondly, every appointment so far I have been seen by the actual Doctor. He takes his time with you and seems to generally care and answers all my questions and doesn't seem to rush at all. Highly recommend him! Also, it helps that he's easy on the eyes :) read more

I didn't even get to the first appointment. This is a review on their billing practices as I never even made it in to see the OB). I was hesitant because of the other poor reviews, but I had a family friend who went through a surgery with Dr. Ahmadinia and had a good experience. I made my first OB appointment with them for a week and a half later. The morning of my appointment, their billing department called me and told me they contacted my insurance, determined how much the total cost of all visits and the birth would be. They then told me it was the doctors policy to put all of the pregnant patients on a payment plan to have the bill paid off in full prior to reaching 26 weeks. What? I told her that doesn't make any sense, because she is basing my cost off of my deductible. There were charges that were still in process and I was going to have other visits with in the 7.5 - 8 months before my baby is due. The amount wouldn't be accurate. She said it didn't matter and if I overpaid they would issue a refund after the birth. Um, no. You want to take service you MAY render over the next 8 months and have me pay for them over the next 16 weeks? So the entire cost of my pregnancy and birth would be split up into 4 payments (the first of which, of course, would be due later that day). I told her she could cancel my appointment and she (very rudely) told me okay and hung up. I called Blue Cross Blue Shield (my insurance company) and told them what happened. While they told me the physicians are legally allowed to have any payment arrangement they choose, it sounded sleazy and recommended I find another provider. (Yuck). read more
