Apparently they are unfamiliar with the fact that they are on Groupon so I had to call back when someone from the company was in the office to get on the schedule. They had availability for two weeks later. I wasn't in a rush so I don't mind the wait. I wasn't scheduled for the 12-4 time window. On the day of I had a work commitment that came up last minute. They were very accommodating when I called so I was pushed further back on the timeslot till after 3 PM so I could be home for the service. The technician Isaiah arrived and informed me what he was going to do. Afterwards he sent me a detailed report with photographs of my gutter system. Thankfully, everything looked good and I did not require any additional services after the cleaning and tuneup.

For the first time I realize I had been hearing a fair amount of outside noise (which I'd apparently gotten used to), because these windows/doors are soundproof; now I don't hear anything at all from outside! And even better, the windows are easy to open, and my sliding glass doors actually slide well in the track, and are not shaking and drafty when it's windy outside -- major improvements from my old, builder-grade, 20+ year-old windows/sliding door. Further, the service crew was excellent -- careful, kind, professional, efficient, and they cleaned up everything afterwards. Roger, the foreman, has been doing this work for almost 30 years, and Jose, who single-handedly carried in/out the windows/doors, has been doing this work for 10+ years. I didn't get the name of the quiet third service person who was mostly outside and on the ladders, also very efficient. fyi, they did mention that working on the 4th floor of our condos from ladders was a bit more challenging as the original builder-grade windows had been made to fit by being packed/taped in place from the outside, which necessitated them having to actually break some of the glass to be able to pull the old windows out. But they did it - and did it well. Finally, Shaun, the project manager who gave me my estimate and oversaw the project from estimate, HOA approval process, to completion, was great. They came out to give me an estimate and once I'd said we wanted them to do the siding, they put me on the schedule. They came out when they said they were going to, they did good work. They took all the old siding away. While they were looking at the siding, they told me they could also do work on our porch (which was in AWFUL shape). I said tell me what your estimate is and I might be able to afford to get some work done. They came back with a reasonable price for refurbishing our porch and they completed it in about a week. I LOVE my porch now. It is safe and BEAUTIFUL. I highly recommend Potomac Roofers and Builders.

Last fall my second home developed a leak over the back porch. I contacted Angi's for…read morerecommendations and received five. I contacted all five of them for quotes and chose Shingler on the Roof. The first company that I contacted immediately assumed that the entire roof would need to be replaced, before seeing it. They went out to assess the situation and provided me with a quote that was far more than I had anticipated. I then contacted the other four and found a wide divergence between them, both in terms of price and presentation of their quotes. When I contacted Shingler on the Roof, I liked that Mark did not immediately assume the entire roof would have to be replaced. However, following a site visit, he determined that it was the original roof and it was showing wear. He sent me several photos so I could see its deteriorating condition. He determined that it should be replaced and provided a quote that fell in the middle of the five. He was patient and responsive to my questions as I made a final decision. Once I committed to the job, we met at the house to go over a preliminary contract. Mark explained that the cost could be higher depending upon what he found under the original shingles. He and his crew fit me into their schedule fairly quickly. Once they started the project, Mark kept me appraised of their progress on the job. As it turns out, there was considerable damage under the old shingles. Once again, Mark provided photos which showed the severe damage. I felt fortunate for the original leak because I could have had a far worse situation if the roof had not been replaced. Mark and his team did an excellent job and cleaned up the site after they finished. The roof looks great and I would highly recommend Shingler on the Roof. [They are licensed and insured.] I wish I had before and after pictures but unfortunately I can't locate them.

Scheduled an appt to have the move-in cleaning special, since I would be moving into my house in a few wks. I was told the whole process would take 4hrs., and I needed to do a walk through before and after. THIS WAS A HUGE MISTAKE ON MY END. Before scheduling I gave the manager Theresa a list of things that I needed to have cleaned, and she said they would be able to accommodate the list. The team lead Heather and another person came out last wk. to clean my house, and I asked her if she had the list of things that I needed to have cleaned. Heather said yes. After 4hrs. I came back to the house; however, I didn't do a walk through. I needed to get back to work and was rushing for time. The next day I had to do some repairs on the house, and I noticed that the house wasn't clean completely. There were cobwebs on the walls of the room, dog hair on the basement steps from the previous owner, dirt within the window seal, and the carpets in the closet wasn't vacuumed. The services wasn't event worth $400. I didn't call and complain immediately after this and felt I will do the cleaning myself. Within a few days I got 2 surveys from the company. I figured I called them and provide feedback. I called and spoke to Loren on 02-26-2026, and she reported that they would have someone come back to the house to address my concerns. Loren said she would share my complaint with Theresa. I got a voicemail yesterday from a male whose name I couldn't understand. I called back today, and spoke to Loren and told her that I received a voicemail message to call back the office. Loren told me that they wouldn't send anyone out to address my concerns, and if I wanted someone to come to the house I would need to pay another $85. After reading another complaint prior from another customer on Yelp about this company, I should have ran. You would have better success with a 5yr cleaning your house than this company. It takes a lifetime to get a customer and only 1 second to lose one.
